Yeah, time zones are crazy like that - definitely mind boggling at times, that's for sure!

I'm on the West Coast of the US.

And I went to a dance for a few hours from like 6ish till 8:30 pm, and then to dinner with my sister, and then to the movies with my sister and a friend, and we got home after 1 am, and now I'm still awake, although who knows if/when I'll fall asleep. LOL. :P

I have quite a few friends from over in Britain, and I am a bit of a language magnet. I pick up on the slang first. >.< And it seems to slip out more in my writing when I'm tired. [sweat] I wish I was from Britain. Boring Californian here. [yes]

Yeah, kinda like a prom, but not really. I'm in college and the college I just left does a Second Chance Prom - an all inclusive dance - for those who didn't get a chance to go to their prom, but everyone is invited. Just a time to have fun and dance. =] But it has been a good night - I'm currently curled up on the futon bed at my sister's house, wondering when sleep is going to come and find me.

It's working now, It was a problem with all of LIVE, not just me.

Nope. Neither of them. We need it to start the karts though.

Oh yeah, I bought a Wii U last night.

It's amazing how you can pick up things like that. ^__^
Of course you think where you live is boring but to my eyes California just seems so much fun! It's definitely one of the states where I want to go if I ever travel to U.S.A.

Well where would you use it? :o They're so much fun. I used to live out of town and had a huge property, my neighbours had one and my dad built me a little go kart for my 8th birthday or something and tied it onto the back of their quad and rode it around their place. So dusty and dangerous but so much fun.

Oh cool! Wow, that's like two consoles in one week, haha. Is it worth it? What games did you get?

Yeah, it drives some friends mental. *laughs* I sometimes don't realize I'm doing it and it makes them go "Wait... what?!" [rofl]

I think for me one of the things that bothers me about it - is that people assume that all of California is sunny and warm YEAR around.. Which is not true. WE do get seasons, and boy. Omg, we do get cold and weather. Northern California - where I live - is where most of the seasons are, and not where I live, but near by, we do get snow and LOTS of it. South Lake Tahoe is one of the Skiing/Snowboarding destinations around here. And Yosemite is GORGEOUS (yet so so so so cold) in winter. <33 (It's also gorgeous in Summer too. Tahoe is gorgeous as well.) Both are MUST sees in my opinion, if you ever make it to Northern California. :)

Yeah, it is a great thing and I got to see people I've not gotten to see in months as I've not been at that school any longer and been stuck at home, some were like "Omg, you're alive." Eh, ya, I am, I just don't drive and they all see a 45 minute DRIVE as being too far. :( *sighs*
Yeah, plus my head is just going round and round with signs (I'm fairly fluent in American Sign). *laughs* Don't ask why I've got random signs going around in my head, sometimes it's just random like that. :P I seem to think in sign at times it seems. :P

Dunno. We'll only use it at the track, I think. Maybe if we go somewhere we can use them, but I don't think that's too likely.

NintendoLand, Tekken and Mario Bros U. It's pretty good so far, NIntendoLand is a great party game.

Apparently if you pick up other people's accents you're empathetic. I don't know where I heard that, I might have even made it up.. I have no idea, haha.

That's the same as Australia. Our weather can be crazy, in summer especially. Hot and dry as one second, pouring rain the next. Next to no snow here though. :< Experiencing snow much be so nice. I shall put those places on my list!

Aw, so nice. :) I bet you had heaps to talk about! 45 is hardly anything! I swear it takes like half an hour to drive from one side of my town to the other.


Maybe you could sign yourself a lullaby, haha. I think that's pretty neat that you learnt American Sign Language. In grade three my class was taught the alphabet and how to sign that "I feel Good" song. I can't remember hardly any of it now. You could get a pretty cool job of being one of those people that translate speech to sign at presidential debates.

A few years ago you could probably just go out of town and ride it on dirt plains but yeah, things are different now. :/ Is the track just circular?
I'm sure somewhere to ride it will come up. :)

Mario Bros. looks like so much fun from what I saw from the Let's Play. What do you think you'll use more, the tv or the little controller?

Oh, that's cool! I didn't know that. Yeah, I do pick up accents fairly easy. I went down to visit Phoenix - who posted a bit ago - summer of '11 and I came back and I still have certain words that I can't say as most 'Americans' would say them. *laughs* Well, I Can, but it's tricky and I have to force myself to say it 'normal'. :P

I remember on my holiday down there - it was winter for y'all and that was so crazy -- it being June and cold! [lol] But it was nice. At least I had warm clothes with me. And the crazy rain -- it'd be fine and then downpour! [shock] Although we sometimes have that kind of weather here too. [yes]

Yeah, it was kinda hard to hear each other - if only more of them signed. [yes] That'd have made my life easier. Yeah, 45 minutes isn't anything - I agree with you there. It could definitely be worse.

I love it! It's such a beautiful language too. [yes] But it's definitely one of those languages that if you don't use it you lose it. Yeah, I'm waiting to hear back from a school down in SoCali - near LA (kinda) - that's great for my area of focus (Deaf Studies). Hopefully I'll hear back soon! I'm not sure I want to go into Translating, possibly Deaf Education, or something along those lines myself. :)

That game isn't as fun when you're not screwing with people, but NintendoLand makes really good use of it. It's always whoever uses the tablet vs everyone else, but It makes it fair. There's a mini-game like Pacman where the person on the tablet gets a minimap and has to run away, but the other 4 players chase him without a minimap.
