Whoa, that's a loaded question.

The way this question is worded makes me think you'd like the answer to be "yes"?

I think that in good times, that's true, but I don't think it always is. I think real love takes commitment that lasts even when the feelings aren't quite there. Feelings are transitory; they change about as easily as the weather. People sometimes even feel unhappy or happy without knowing why.

In relationships, I think there's usually a honeymoon period where everything feels good at first, where you're euphoric all the time, and you enjoy being in each other's company and all of that, and I think that feeling fades a bit the further into the relationship you go. There are always going to be times of euphoria and of intense feelings, but I don't think anyone stays at that point all the time-- I don't think anyone can without going insane.

I think people should maybe ask the question, "Does the person I'm with usually make me happy?" But I think a more important question would be, "Is my life better with this person than it is when I am alone?" or "Are the good things I'm getting from a relationship with this person worth more than the cost of being with him or her?"

Then again, my dad is an accountant.

If you're with someone, shouldn't you be happy to be with them, enjoy the way you can hold hands with them and such?

Roxxxy 05-01-2013 03:35 AM

I hate to call in sick tomorrow, but I think I may be too dizzy to even drive myself in.
How is everyone doing? Tell me good things to cheer me up!

If you're in a relationship with someone, you aren't going to be happy with them 100% of the time. Though, if you're sad, upset, angry, etc... most of the time - I would take that as que to leave, because no matter how happy someone makes you - if you feel terrible most of the time it's never worth it.

I find that, unlike some people I know, I cannot be with my boyfriend 24/7. Usually 3 days and I start to get really snappy if I haven't had some alone time.

Some times I don't want to be touched, if its too hot, or I'm in a bad mood, really tired, etc...

I've been with my guy for almost five years now, so we're past the honey-moon stage. I'd describe our relationship similar to a best-friend. You may fight, but you'll always love one another. :)
And there's the physical aspect as well.

If you like someone personally, but aren't attracted to them physically... well... Good luck. I personally don't think I could ever be with a person who I wasn't physically attracted to.

I'd probably be able to offer more insight if there was some context?
