DJ, a ping is kind of like a Facebook tag. You get a PM from the wonderful Aimee telling you that someone's talking about you, and a link to the thread that someone pinged you in.

You can ping someone by using @username ; (only without the space between the username and ; ).

So if I wanted to ping you, it'd be like 666DjFromTheDeath666:
