Law and Order Special Victims Unit is one of those shows you absolutely hate because of its content but cant stop watching because the same content you despise draws you in like a moth to the flame.

I just watch an episode about a pedophile smuggling children into the country by paying the parents of the child loads of money to own them. Then doing things that are for adults only to know about on the internet with them. He got away with this for 10 years before he was caught.

All the episodes of this show make me upset and frustrated because of the content of rape and other sexual violence. However the episodes like this proticular one that is focus on child abuse and molestation just makes me want kill things.

I cant ever imagine how people would ever want to harm a child. It is out of my realm of thought I mean it just would never cross my mind. How does it enter others we are not programmed that way at least I do not think so.

I guess all i can say is I have not been able to walk away from an episode of Law and Order Special Victims unit in a good mood I always end up in a sad angry wanting to cry in a corner mood because there is no way for me to vent the urge to destroy things that is so rageingly over whelming.

I do not know i am sorry i just had to vent to feel better you know i am sorry if i have offended somebody.

Law and Order: SVU is actually my favourite Law and Order series out of them all haha

It is my favorite out of the Law & Order Series also but i still get so angrilated at the show because of the content none the less.

i fine dthe content interesting to be honest. Its intriguing mainly, the stories they come up wit and the depth the put into the characters in amazing

nah olivia and her partner are my fav haha stabler is a funny guy

And he has got me watching it now going on 48 hours of SUV.... gah and the episode Taboo made me want to climb into tv world and beat the ever loving crap out of that mom! So I can agree I get angry at the situations and really feel for the characters. Makes me nuts though.

I know right and its scary to know they get plot ideas from the news and other things like it.. just makes me even more *what the heck are these stupid people thinking* * smack stupid people*

What is funny about stabler he is like the most seriouse character on that show?

thats why he's funny ... okay hes not like haha funny but he still is my favourite character. I love the seriuosness and stuff

Olivia Benson is my hero. I'm watching the whole series on Netflix right now... 12 seasons? I'm on the 4th.

I hadn't watched much of the older stuff before, so I was surprised at how much the peripheral characters were developed early on (like Det. Munch, who is quickly racing to the top of my list of favorites).

Plus Ice-T is a badass, even if his character tends to be a jerk sometimes.

Ya I have to say Munch and Fin are my favorite 2 characters aswell but fin aka ice t is number 1. Although i do also agree that olivia benson is a good role model for young women. Really thats funny me and the wife just did the same thing finished it all on netflix like 3days agao ourselves.

and it's so funny I watch old episodes and just marvel at how different her and her hair looks hahaha

SVU is my #1 favorite of the L&O series. I hate nothing about it. It's a wonderful show and knows how to keep my attention for every episode. Even if they are a repeat. =3

Now the show that I can't stand would have to be NCIS. The USA Network seems to love that show though as it plays 5 - 6 days out of the week, most of the time.

AGREED.

My brother loves it but I cannot STAND it. My husband thinks I should like it, because to him, it and L&O are the same. I've since beaten some sense into him, but he still likes that gothy girl, even though her character does little more than pander to heterosexual males.

I cant stand the show NCIS or the gothy girl they both suck and the girl is ugly as a bonus lol. As for the hateing the content i hate pedo's an the episodes about them i watch to see them get whats comeing to them but the damage they do to the children infureates me.
