Midnight Light~Masquerade Ball

We are looking for players who can make moderately consistent posts and who are at least semi-literate, but we understand that life and low inspiration get in the way. We just ask that you let us know if will be gone for more than a week. Also, we'd be happy to held with inspiration, chatting in the OOC is a great way to get those creative juices flowing.

This RP will be taking place in two threads, one thread for the actual ball part and a private thread for the testing and judgement. This is to keep things from being too confusing. You will only be allowed to post in the private thread if one of your characters is currently being tested, but you are free to read along. We only ask that you do not use any information from that thread into the other. If your character has not been there, they should have no idea what to expect.

~No god-modding, no one is all-powerful
~No improbable mixed species- You cannot be a vampire/were, angel/demon, cat/dog, ect. If you have questions or unsure if your character falls under this, don’t be afraid to ask!
~No being/representing the King/queen/prince/princess/leader of an entire race. You can however, be the leader of/represent a part of a race, like the forest elves, or the Romanian vampires.
~ You can either post your profile here or PM it to me. Either way, you must include the words "Ad omne noctis deinde diei" somewhere in the post/PM to assure me you have read everything and shall abide by the rules.
~ Both myself and PapillonCameo are in charge of these threads, what we say, goes and if you have any questions you can ask either of us.

Bio: Heiro was born to a wealthy and powerful vampire lord who has recently become... incapacitated, leaving him as the head of the bloodline, despite his half-blood nature. Having barely settled into the large footsteps left by his sire, he has been called away to attend the Fairy Court's ball, as he had in lieu of his father many decades past, during better years. This time he attends not only as the ambassador between the court and his bloodline, but as a Vampire king of Japan.
Fears: Being caged/bound for minor, His father for major

Appearance: Six feet tall, broad shouldered and long-limbed. His frame is lean and his muscles lithe but well defined. Almond-shaped midnight-blue eyes are set into a face that is almost feminine, though an angular jaw and the thin scar from his left brow to right cheek breaks the illusion. His skin is unnaturally pale and almost literally covered in scars, the most prominent being a large one that covers the left half of his neck, its jagged edges reaching from jawline to his collarbone. His raven black hair is dead-straight, sleek and mid-back in length. Overall, his features look to be a mix of Slavic and Oriental.

Bio: Sadiya’s father had raised her well, teaching her how to use her adventurous and hot-headed nature to her advantage. She is using those skills now to help keep her people alive, daring to take the incentive and convince their leader to join with the other Fae in a way that is practically unheard of in an attempt to preserve their kind. It worked, and now she attends the grand gala as the ambassador of her people.
Fears: Being underwater for major, Cold places and snow for minor
Influential person: Her father
Appearance: Petite but not lacking in curves, she’s fairly short, standing at about five feet, four inches. Her skin is a golden tan that seems to glow and light patterns of dots and swirls can be seen if one looks close enough. Her eyes are wide, and a rich red-brown color that clearly show her fiery nature. Her hair is a mass of curls and waves that fall to her mid-back and is a vivid coppery red that shines gold in the sunlight. Her breed of fae has no wings, but their ears are much like their cousins, long and expressive.
