Kent then text back, "I had no other plans, my girlfriend is working tonight. I'll be over there in ten minutes or as soon as the bus gets me there."

"Yes, since I am not going to run for another term," Terrance replied honestly, "I don't think I can handle it any longer. Even if I played it 'honest'."

Terrance looked at the menu and noticed Mello Yello was an option, "I would like Mello Yello if you have it, please."

Then just in case they didn't have Mello Yello, he choose Sprite Zero with a shot of Vanilla in it.

~Great!~ Kirin breaks out into a huge smile. ~We can watch movies or something.~

"Of course sir." The waitress says with a smile. "I'll bring those right out.

Kent smiled and hopped on a bus to get to Kirin's place. When he got to the right stop, he jumps off the bus and skate boarded to Kirin's house. He rang the door bell and waited for Kirin to answer the door.

Terrance thanked the waitress. "You do understand that you'll have to be groomed per se to take over my seat," Terrance said to Representative Jackson, "You might not have to be groomed as much, it depends on my approval ratings. If you like, you can distance yourself from me, but reassure my district that you'll be there for them and do I better job than I would have."

He then let out a light sigh and then said, "I know you're sitting here wondering, why should I believe you this time. Maybe you're thinking that I might run for senate in the future. I know you may not be at ease with me, but rest assure Jackson... I am through with the political game. I'm thinking of doing something that is more helpful to the community."

He thought about what Congressman Chase said earlier and knew he was making the right choice. He had to stop being selfish about stop thinking about his own image. He had other people to think about, especially Kirin.
