It's posted. There is only the flats right now, but I just want your opinion on the shape and lines so far. I'm working on the first shade right now.

Thanks for the input! I made some redlines to see if I understood what you meant. xD
Doing the redlines in itself made me see things I could change, so I'm working on that.

How's the progress on your items?

haha i didn't really work on my stuff since mene went down...I've been CGing instead since i've been putting that off due to pixelling XDDD

But I need to finish up my fairy set :)

and I just replied :D

ALthough I won't anymore cause I"m off to work for the day <3333 I'll reply when I get home :D

haha I did some art - not pixels though XD I've been slacking in that aspect - I actually should be drawing now - I'm not even half way through my piece that I've been working on XD
oh i did that too.. a couple of sculptures that i randomly decided to work on... i'm scared the one looks like i jsut threw junk together. (kinda did... but it was cool junk that I'd been collecting that inspired me!)

What do you suggest is a good kind of item to start learning how to pixel with?

A good item? Hmmm...definitely not a dress XD But something small and simple. Start with a basic t-shirt to be honest. I know mene already has a billion tshirts so it might not be the most exciting thing to start with. But it's the easiest thing to study and find refs off. Find real refs of real tshirts so you can study the wrinkles and folds and the lines and how it hands :)

Do you think the male version should be exactly like the female version? Should I add the poofy sleeves?

Or do you think I should make it more peter pan-esque - a v-neck collar...non poofy sleeves?

I think the peter pan idea would work better. I think that poofy sleeves can look good on a male in some situations, but I feel for this set you're making the male version would look best with what you posted right now. Like you once told me, don't base your decision off of what I think. xD I don't think it would look too terrible if the male version also had poofy sleeves, but I personally prefer what you have now. ^^

You're right too. The avi's left sleeve needs to go behind the hand like how you pixeled the avi's right sleeve. That's all I can see that needs doing atm.

I stopped working on it for a bit cause I didn't know what looked wrong only that it did XD Glad I can pinpoint it now :D

I took a gander at it. It may just be me, but the area I circled looks like it has just a little too much shadow for the light source you chose. Try to minimize it about the size of the shading in that same area of your female version and see how it looks.

If you want it to look the same kind of sleeve as the back one... yeah it should probably go behind the hand. ^^;; also
