95% have one. The daughter of the art teacher at my school is a grad student at the college I went to (and it's 20 minutes from the school I teach at ) and she owns a house. She has one roommate already and they are looking for a third because the third bedroom is empty. They want someone who works, is quiet, loves cats, but wants to get to know them and hang out with them sometimes and that's totally me. They keep things quiet and clean and they don't have bugs :D It would be 500 dollars a month with everything included (water, electric, cable, internet, etc).

They said I could move in no problem but they just wanna meet me first in person to make sure I would gel with them. I think i will :D So I pretty much have a place lined up. It's just going to take a couple weeks for the apartment I'm in to release me of the lease because I'm sending them the letter via mail so it's official. So they won't get it until like tuesday, wednesday, or thursday of this coming week. Then we are giving them a week to fix it or release me so I have to wait it out. After that, hopefully I'll be good to go.

I have freaking panic attacks just walking into that place now.
I tried sleeping there thursday night....to be brave. And I was on the phone with my mom when I noticed a roach on the closet door. SO I sprayed and killed it and turned around and saw one on my dresser and sprayed and got it and noticed one hauling butt across the carpet and got that and noticed one on the door and got that and by then I was almost hyperventilating (it happened in like 3 minutes - four roaches in three minutes) and so I called a friend and asked if I could come over so I did. I only got like 3 hours sleep that night but I would have gotten none if I had stayed so I was happy that I left.

It's just so filthy and disgusting and they crawl on anything and everything.

Thank you - I need it to happen fast because I can't take it there any longer. When we checked the apartment out when I was looking at the place I noticed a few dead roaches on the floor and they assured me it was because the apartment had been unoccupied for months and months. They said they would clean it out, replace the carpet, get pest control in to make sure, etc. But apparently that wasn't the truth - they have to be living in the walls. Because supposedly they've come to spray every week since the first week of September. And I have traps, barrier, spray, etc myself and none of it has worked D:

lol - once I moved and I can fit my desk into that room (because I couldn't bring my desk to the tiny studio I'm in now - it barely fit my bed and my brothers stand up dresser but the room I'd be moving into is bigger so I could bring my desk)....I'm going to get my computer and tablet hooked up on there so i can actually work on art again and work on pixels. Now I have no room to do it D:

Roaches are the worst too.

Your new place sounds like heaven though.

It's just so filthy - wednesday I woke up and found five roaches in the span of 17 minutes - then thursday night 4 in the span of 10? It's ridiculous! Plus all the spraying is making me sick AND making my hives worse :(

I can't wait to move!

ugg.. great.. nwo stars gona check ehr place over and she knows its bug free... they come and spray every few weeks and winters settign in so the things are gonna find it hard to liv ehere if we have them god i hope not i don't think i could sleep then.. but their right your new place does sound like heaven.. here's hoping your there now..

@everyone - sorry I haven't been on - I'm kinda living out of my car right now. The bugs are so bad I just hyperventilate going into the apartment. So I'm staying with friends and just keeping all my clothes and stuff in my car.

I sent a letter stating they need to fix the problem in 7 days or release me from my contract...or else I'll call the health department.

Hopefully they will release me. I went back yesterday to check up on things and my neighbor said they came and sprayed the crap out of my place. Which is stupid because the pest control has come once a week since August 20th and it hasn't worked....and when I walked in there was a live bug on the carpet right in front of me. The spraying hasn't helped and it won't.

I really just want to be released....until then....I'm in my car :( Not much time to come on mene at the moment :(

I think your house owner should really look into the problem, there must be something the pest control guy missed. Rather kind neighbours too... did you enquire them about their pest status? ... well, maybe all their pest come to your place?

I missed you, too, Hon! It sucks that you can't live in your own place, I hope they let you leave, because if the pest problem is that bad, they better not expect you to stay. I would still call the health department, though, even if they do release you from your contract. They shouldn't get away Scot-free. If a housing-complex, or an eatery, or any place of the sort, has live bugs—creeping-crawlies that can get people sick—crawling about where they shouldn't be, the proprietor should be fined.

To make my bad week worse - I came home this week to my parent's house and my mom and dad are leaving on vacation today - well - they went to leave and backed into my car :( Now there is a huge dent in my car and theirs.....really upset about this to be honest. I know it was an accident but I've taken such good care of my care...never been in an accident...am a cautious driver...and now there is a huge dent :(

there, there, I was even in a worse situation.
There was a traffic jam, and I stopped. After a few seconds... someone CRASH on behind me, and I jumped in fright, releasing the brake, the car move forward and crash in the lorry in front. -_-;; I was sandwich in between. The lorry only have their metal bar askew a bit and lose of paint, mine is the worst hit. Back and front out of shape, luckily the big and important engine are intact. Heck, the car that crash me doesn't suffer as bad shape as my car back is. D:

But... maybe be thankful no one is hurt?

And yeah - I'm thankful that we are all okay but still upset....I dunno....my mom felt really bad about it. Her car has damage at the back of it....but it's not too bad back there at least.

Actually, that day rained earlier, so when I came down from the car to the culprit, I slipped and one knee kneel on the tar road. That knee did bulge, so, I am not hurt from the 'crash' but hurt from the slip.
I felt even upset, you see, in order to get insurance, we have to make police report. But the culprit still in her learning license do not want to do that, she will bear the costs. So, I keep the contact. Near evening, my dad receive a call from the mechanic, it seems that the culprit could not AFFORD (and telling stories about the culprit is poor and her dad recently died causing her toooo grieving to concentrate blah blah blah....)to pay my damage and ask my dad to lodge the report to claim insurance. My dad was busy and after some discussion strike the deal of we pay one quarter and the culprit pay 3 quarters.

D: I am not at fault, and yet I still have to pay! I am still upset over this fact to think of it.

I feel bad because my mom doesn't have a lot of money so I feel bad askign her to pay to fix it but I don't have the money to fix it at all soooo...I'm gonna see how much it costs and go from there because I'd feel even worse if her insurance and stuff went up because of this :(

At least the person who hit your car will pay 3/4s of it! My best friend got into an accident once and I was in the car...she his a person who only had their learning liscence and their mom was flipping out at my friend. She just bumped the car - no dent or anything. I felt bad for my friend.

If it is a small dent, I don't think it is as bad as my out of shape, I can't even lock the door, the alarm somehow don't let me lock the door.

Most people I see that got a small dent do not really care to fix it as it doesn't affect the engine. Just a bit of eyesore.

I've been in one accident when I was little. Some idiot pulled away from the gas station tank BACKWARDS and hit us who was behind them. (look before you drive.. seriously people)
A deer hit the side door of my dads truck where i was sitting. HOLY CRAP was that scary.

When i first drove my Dads truck.. I backed up into my dads truck. xD hahaha
It's one of those pickups with a lid. And we were backing it up to put the lid back on. But I didn't know that you had to push realllllllly far to press the brake to actually get it to start breaking... So when I knew that I had to stop and when i pressed the break and it didn't work I panicked and slammed on the other one to stop in time so I wouldn't hit it... and the other one was the gas :O
oops...
I slammed on the breaks only seconds after. No actualy damage. But hella funny. .. to everyone else.

wow... truck on truck... I wanted to learn how to drive truck...

Not sure how often I'll get on from now until Friday - so if I'm not on - it's because I'm still place hopping on friend's couches.....so yeah...another week D:
