@Xuvvie -

Good night and sleep well!

I'm happy with the trench! and the belt probably needs work - that is my first version of it and I never get anything the first time around lol.

Here is the new drapery using the ref:

way too much time.

Maria-Minamino 01-02-2013 04:55 PM

I wish I had more time D: Gotta go back to work Monday D: *clings to Mene*

ClockReject 01-02-2013 05:00 PM

that's just under a week, Clock is sure you can make the most of it~!

I'm gonna be job searching soon - I LOVE teaching music but the school I'm at is terribly disorganized and they only pay me for 32 hours a week and demand at least 60 hours a week of my time which ticks me off...plus on my day off (i don't work tuesdays) they will make me go to workshops or whatever and not pay me for it but everyone else who goes gets paid...

ClockReject 01-02-2013 05:06 PM

that is super unfair in so many ways.
and sure, life is unfair sometimes,
but that is just ridiculous.

Clock hopes you find a better job~!

I love it because the kids love it and I do so much for them and get no recognition for it.

We had a faculty meeting before the break and the principal said to talk about what we think are safety concerns and I said that not being able to practice after school for my musicals in my own class room is a concern (the band uses my room after school with an after school band teacher who comes in) because the parents don't know where we are, we are outside in plain view of any intruder that might come in...and she went off on me "I don't mean to make an example of you but this is an example of something YOU should have told ME BEFORE!!! HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN GOING ON!?" and I said, "Umm...like 3 weeks...that's it" and she goes "WELL THAT'S THREE WEEKS TOO LONG! I GAVE YOU MY CELL PHONE SO YOU CAN REACH ME AND YOU SHOULD HAVE COME TO ME IF YOU HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT YOUR ROOM" and I was like, "It's been 3 weeks!! It's not really a big deal but it IS a safety concern that YOU said to bring up right now!!" but she wouldn't even let me get that in before she started screaming some more and kept saying, "I don't mean to make an example but I need too" and I was like "WTF .... now I'm never going to say anything to her..." PLUS...she NEVER gave out her cell phone number...EVER. and when you email her about stuff like that she NEVER replies to you.

employers like that are horrid.
Clock is sorry you had to deal with that.
people think they are so high and mighty,
and need to just rub everyone else into the dirt.
people like that are infuriating.

employers are terrifying :( I love the kids and the teachers here but it's the admin that makes me want to leave - their disorganization and their unfriendly attitude...

ClockReject 01-02-2013 06:22 PM

that's how Clock felt about her waitressing job.
Clock loved the customers and the regulars, etc.
but Clocks boss was impossible to work for.

Clocks parental units actually stepped in because it got so bad.
it sucks though, when you love what you are doing.

Oh man - the parents had to step in? that sucks D: It must have gotten really bad then!

ClockReject 01-02-2013 06:30 PM

it was a really bad situation.
but Clock was sticking through,
because we (the parental units and Clock) needed the money.

I know how that is - I worked at KFC before this and that was a terrible place to work at but I needed the money while I searched for teaching jobs D:

Thank you! The sage palette is one of my favorite palettes! I'm in love with it!!!

Do you have any suggestions?

ClockReject 01-02-2013 10:42 PM

so, Maria, do you actually use paint for your pixels,
or another program?

I personally use MS Paint but you can really use any program since there aren't any special tools or anything you need :)

ClockReject 01-02-2013 10:47 PM

so Paint is actually good for something.
Clock never uses paint for anything.

haha paint IS definitely good for something - it's easier for me to do pixel work on paint because it eliminated all the advanced crazy stuff and just lets me focus

ClockReject 01-02-2013 10:56 PM

simplicity is best, Clock finds.
like when Clock was taught html code.
Clock wasn't taught with fancy things like Dreamweaver,
Clock was taught with Notepad, and even now,
Clock prefers Notepad to Dreamweaver.
so Clock understands.
