Thinking about downloading new music
Does anyone have any suggestions of new bands that I should download?

I would suppose that depends on your tastes. If you're into rock music, check into Icon for Hire. XD They're so good.

if you like asian artists, you should really try yiruma. he's a pianist, composter, and a ballad singer. it's quite nice <3 i also suggest hirasawa susumu, he's quite a crazy guy. he's an awesome composer and he even sings in some of his crazy trance songs. o u ob lots of different types with him. then there's yamazaki masayoshi, sort of an old school artist, but lovely none the less. made my life song~ <3 |

Don't know your taste, but I'll take this opportunity to splurge about my own!
Janelle Monae- a soulful voice with an eclectic style. Her latest album goes from symphony orchestra, to RnB to rock to pop to operatic! I love the variety of one album! Made me buy both her official albums. Now I've got to look for underground stuff. St. Vincent - she's airy and artistic. Her lyrics paint vague images that allow your mind to come up with its own theme of the song. Her voice is very beautiful. Gotye - All I heard was "Somebody I Used To Know" and it was enough for me to buy the album, Making Mirrors. I certainly don't regret it. I'd say he's an alternative style. All three of these are, really. Freezepop - Have you heard of them? They're a techno-rocky pop band. Pretty different. My favorites are "Less Talk More Rokk" and "Brainpower" Jamiroquai - a funky guy. His music is like revamped disco! lol I love it. He did "Canned Heat" used in Napolean Dynamite and Center Stage. Hiromi Euhara - for those of you who enjoy piano jazz. :3 |

SPYAIR-Just like this!!!! - YouTube If you're into Japanese stuff, I suggest the above group "spyair" & ONE OK ROCK :lol: If you're into pop/or r&b stuff ; try big bang, 2ne1, SHINee (All Korean ♥) SoulJa - "Hanasanaideyo", "Breathe" & "I Hate You" (ft. ROLA x ISSA) Electrocitica - "Reversus" And then for English, the only suggestions I really have are Gotya - "Somebody that I used to Know" haha And some crunk.... but I have a feeling you wouldn't listen to much of that :/ Hopefully you find some new music though! :3 |
