Psyching it out: the life of lies
---------- 1989: It was Gus' seventh birthday and the only person he'd decided to invite was Shawn Spencer, his very best buddy in the entire world. They were both in trouble now and it was all because of Shawn. They'd been told not to play with Shawn's ball and bat, but as usual, Shawn had talked him into something he'd been told not to do. They'd knocked the baseball clean through one of the windows. Now Gus was in his room crying, and Shawn had been told to go home. This was how things worked when he was around Shawn. His friend always did things that were irrational and got him in trouble. Present day: Gus sat at his desk and sighed. Why was Shawn always trying to get him to participate in his dumb fake psychic detective work? This time he was going to say no, no matter what Shawn promised and no matter how much he begged. He had a job of his own and it was a lot better than fake detective work. He was charting his progress in sales, and seeing what needed improvment. He went to get a few things from his car and then got lunch, not bothering to see if Shawn wanted to come with him. He was really and honestly mad at that man and he didn't want to see him at the moment. When Gus was finished eating his food, he headed back to the office and started back to work, the whole time his anger brewing. Shawn had been even more persistent lately, constantly taking Gus from his job. He was surprised Shawn hadn't already taken him from work with some dumb excuse already. It was getting a bit late and Gus wondered if maybe Shawn wasn't going to bother him today. It seemed like a great thing, though at the same time, he kind of missed Shawn. Avoiding his best friend was hard for someone like Gus and he just didn't know what to do about it. He needed to stand his ground about this issue and he knew it. Shawn had to learn that Gus would say no sometimes. ---------- hummy: |
Name: Shawn Spencer
Age: 30 Shawn needed help and was in big trouble now. A ball had come hurdled towards his head and almost hit him. He reached over for his cell phone and called Gus. "I need you right now, somebody is trying to kill me! Come to the office." Ending the phone call knowing that he would come right away. Someone had just attempted murder to him and broken the glass window . He looked down at his baseball on the ground and shook his head. "How could anyone do this to me." He looks outside and sees someone coming over. Maybe they are going to try and to fight him one to one. He ducked down behind his desk with the baseball as a weapon A kid comes up to him in front of the desk "Mister, can you give us our ball back?" He stood up when he realized it was just a child. He looked the kid over and noticed the the uniform and the helmet. "Can I join you? You seem like you a have a good swing since you made it all the way across the street, I want to be on your team." the kid is stumped, and annoyed "Can you just give us back our ball ?" Shawn seemed slightly disappointed and tossed the ball back to the kid. "Maybe, later?" As the kid ran off not looking back. Shawn sat on his couch waiting for a case to come to his office, or Gus to come help him fix the now shattered store front window. He decided to clean it up the store while waiting so Gus would not be concerned. |
Gus grabbed his phone and saw it was Shawn. He really had half a mind to just not even pick up, but he knew that the man would keep calling him until he had to answer anyway, so he just answered. "Hello." He said, and then his eyes widened as he heard what Shawn had to say. The fact that Shawn hadn't sounded like he was kidding scared Gus. He ran to his car and flew out of the parking lot of his work at about One hundred miles per hour. He was terrified that something might actully happen to Shawn, his best friend. He could feel his heart racing in his chest as he drove down the street at very illegal speeds. "Shawn...please be ok, please be ok." He kept muttering to himself nervously. He saw the broken glass and then rushed into tue office.
"Shawn!?" He yelled, his voice sounding pathetic and scared even to himself. "Shawn, I swear to god, if this is a prank I'll whip your ass to Timbuktu!" He threatened, grabbing an umbrella to defend himself against whoever was trying to kill his friend. He was beyond angry when he saw Shawn standing there without a cut or bruise to be seem. "You freaking idiot!" He screamed, going ballistic. His normally calm demeanor was gone. "Do you even know how worried I was Shawn?! Do you have any idea?" He figured Shawn had just told him someone was trying to kill him in order to grey Gus over to help with a case of some sort. Gus had been able to deal with Shawn making excuses and lies to get Gus away from work, but this had been way to far. Even Gus had a limit for stupidity, and Shawn had just pushed that limit to the extreme. Gus could feel the tears welling up in his eyes from anger. "You know what? Until you can grow up some and stop using me, then we can talk. He threw the umbrella down. "But for now, we're finished. I'm not talking to you for the foreseeable future!" That had sounded kind of girly, but he was angry and had nothing better to say. He stormed out, and for some reason or another, he just wished Shawn would follow him and try to stop him from leaving, because if Shawn didn't say something, Gus reall wasn't coming back again. A life without ever seeing Shawn again seemed kind of misarable. |
Shawn looked around and saw gus behind him not paying attention to what he was saying. "It seemed like I was about to die! A baseball broke the glass and almost hit me in the head. I didn't know if I was going to make it." In a sympathetic voice so that Gus would not get any angrier at him. Continuing with his dramatic interpretation of the events that happened "Next thing I knew is that you were here and it seemed like time had lapsed." He goes to hug Gus but he does not seem amused. He looks around at the shop and realizes that it should be cleaned up. "Want to help me clean up?"
He then takes a look an actual look at Gus. "Why are you dressed in your business suit? Did I disturb you from work? We should go out and get some lunch on you. It will be fun you need to relax and have some fun occasionally. Stop being stressed out, you need to take some time off your job and come out more. " Completely ignoring any pleas or protests that he might have and pats his shoulder and gives him the broom. "But, first we clean up! I will go and look for a board or something for the window that was broken." Shawn then walks away almost leaving Gus alone knowing that he will call him back because he is afraid to be by himself. |
Gus crossed his arms, not believing a word Shawn was saying. "Mhmm. Right." He rolled his eyes at Shawn, but was starting to calm down. He looked at the window and then back at Shawn. He sighed, knowing having a baseball hurled at your head must be more than a bit nerve racking. He saw Shawn trying to give him a hug so he relented, wrapping his arms around the other. He let go and then saw Shawn was right. This place was a freaking mess. He paused at Shawn's next question. "Um, duh I was at work. Why wouldn't I be at work?" He rolled his eyes as Shawn suggested they go eat. "Fine, but if I'm paying, you have to next time." He said with a little frown.
Gus took the broom that was offered to him and started to sweep when Shawn said he was going off to get a board. Gus dropped the broom and suddenly got really clingy, grabbing Shawn before he had a chance to leave the room. "No! I mean, why don't you just stay here with me? We can clean and stuff you know." He said, looking nervous. "Then we can look for a board together." He was afraid to be alone and he knew Shawn already knew that. |
"I will stay here with you. I'll hold the dust pan." Thinking of this as the easiest way of actually doing the work himself especially since there was not another broom. Shawn went around back to get the trash can and dust pan. While waiting watching Gus sweep the glass into a pile he started banging the pan on the trash can making his own rhythm. "Thanks for helping me, I know I couldn't do it without you." In attempt to make up his own song. He smiles at Gus so that he does not get upset that he is slightly bored. He then bends down and puts the dust pan on the floor. Throwing all the glass into the trashcan. "Thanks for the help."
"Lets go out to lunch now. Let's get Mexican." Shawn said in a slight excited manor. He knew it would be a good idea to have a little fun and eat some where fun for lunch. He then looks at the window "Oh wait, we have to get a board for the window. To the Hardware store! Then Mexican food!" |
Gus was relived when Shawn decided to stay with him. He knew as long as his friend was with him he'd be fine. He laughed when the other said that he would never be able to do this without him. "Shawn, you don't need me to do this. You never need me. You just want me around for some reason I haven't figured out yet." He thought about it. Why did Shawn keep him around? It wasn't like he ever did anything to really help out. More times than not he was just in the way of Shawn's investigations and what not.
Gus nodded when Mexican food was recommended. "That sounds pretty good, bit yeah, we seriously need to go and get that board. He got in the 'blueberry' and waited for Shawn so they could go get the supplies to fox the window. "Wait, Shawn? Why dont we just put in a new window? I know someone who could fix it while we eat, and that would be better than nailing up a board." He suggested. |
Shawn was shocked by what gus said. Of course he needed him, what would he do without him, nothing would be fun. He would be lonely since most people think that he is a selfish and immature brat. Nobody knows the real him that sincere and caring and wants to help people. He just cannot be serious all the time. For himself personally being serious all the time leads to stress and he has made his goal to live a stress free and happy life and make everyone happier. Thinking back to that he answers back sarcastically to make it just seem like Gus is joking. "Why would you ever think of that? We are like two peas in a pod. You're my robin to my batman. My Jelly to my peanut butter. That's all I got." Shawn then nudged his shoulder trying to give him some sarcastic relief so that he would not become to worried. Gus was really a big part of his life and he does not know where he would be without him. He would never think that his bud was ever in the way of anything, he was his only bud, atleast the only one that Shawn talked to on a frequent basis and that would not just abandoned him after a few weeks.
Shawn followed along to the blueberry and listened to Gus suggestion. "That's an even better idea." Gus also was one of the only people he knew that actually came up with better ideas then him sometimes. "Should we drop of the keys to the shop to them so they can lock up when they are done? and we can go straight to the restaurant." He was happy that they could go straight to the restaurant for food, but slightly sad that they were not going to spend as much time together doing a project. |
Gus cocked one of his thin eyebrows and his mouth formed a little frown. "Shawn. Stop talking like that. I know you're trying to make me feel better, but you don't have to lie." He knew Shawn was the 'psychic' one. He was the detective and Gus was the person who kinda of just stood there and looked useless. The best thing he was for was to keep Shawn out of to much trouble and go along with his crazy plans that usually involved Gus getting a stupid nickname and being convinced to do something dumb. He loved it though. Just being around Shawn made him happy, no matter what they were doing. He really liked it when Shawn came over and watched TV on the couch with him. That was a hobby of Gus' because he could always act like he'd fallen asleep and drip his head to rest in Shawn's lap. It was the things like that Gus really liked. The times that Shawn wasn't to busy to pay him attention. He called his buddy who could fix their window and then drove to give that guy the keys.
Once Gus had gotten his friend to go and start fixing the window, Gus drove to Shawn's favorite mexican place. It wouldn't hurt to spoil Shawn a little. "Get whatever you want." He suggested. "I'm buying." He smiled a little, trying to offer his generosity. It wasn't like he expected Shawn to turn down the offer for free food anyway. "Maybe after this you could come back and hang with me....only of you want to though." He was trying to seem normal about it, but honestly he was nervous right now. In fact, lately he'd been feeling really nervous anytime he got in the same room with Shawn. It felt like his stomach would flutter. He couldn't figure it out. He was a straight man and Shawn Spencer was his best friend. For some reason though, he found himself staring a lot and giggling..stuff he didn't normally do. He even felt weird about eating around Shawn now. This was so unlike him, and he was starting to wonder if maybe he should stay away from Shawn until these weird gay feelings went away. He didn't wasn't to find himself in love. Not with Shawn, and if he didn't get a hold on his emotions quickly, then he would soon be head over heels in live with Shawn and that would never work. His best friend was straighter than an arrow, an besides, Shawn had Jewels. She was the one Shawn cared about, not Gus. He suddenly felt a really bad loss of appetite. "Um..Shawn? Can you get that to go? I don't feel very well. I think I'll go back to my place and go to bed." In truth, he was only a little jealous and wanted to be alone, but he'd fake sock so Shawn wouldn't are through his emotions. |
"That too nice of you." as Shawn took Gus's offer for free food. He had always appreciated free food especially if he got to spend time with him. Gus was the only that would spoil him and he took every opportunity he got even though he knew that he should be spending time with his girlfriend but he was sure that she would understand that he was spending time with him. She had known that Gus and him were best friends and that they spend lots of time together and if she could not understand that them maybe they the were not meant to be together.
He watched as the window was being fixed. He wondered if she really did miss him and want to spend more time with him. This was a new relationship and did not want to get too serious too fast it was his first relationship in a while and he was not going to let it ruin his relationship with his best friend that he had most of his life. If he let a girl get in between his relationship with Gus then the what was there relationship? Gus was his best friend and he should respect him like that and try and make him happy and learn how to have fun. A lesson that Gus still had to learn even though they were together most of the time. He needs to have more fun by his definition and he was still teaching his student on how to have fun. He then looked at Gus "Want to split some Nachos?" He then looked at gus concerned because he was not looking himself. "Of course I would like to come over, we could watch a football game and then watch scary movies." He was excited to be spending time with Gus and not going on alone. He would probably watch the news or his dad would make him do some chore around the house that he would not enjoy. Then Gus told him that he decided against he coming over that night. "Why can't I come over? It would be like sleepover we could have nachos and pillow fight, and then talk about our crushes and who is the hottest women on the police force. It would be awesome." Shawn was really into reliving his highschool years and not growing up. |
Gus stated at Shawn. He seriously wasn't going to give up until Gus caved was he? That was Shawn, he had a way of getting anything he wanted from Gus. He sighed deeply and then swallowed when Shawn mentioned crushes. "Shawn..." He protested. "You have a girlfriend and I have an ex-wife. Neither one of us have crushes. I certainly don't." Gus' previous marriage had left a bad taste in his mouth, and getting close to another woman wasn't in Gus' future for all he was concerned. But Shawn wasn't a woman was he now...he could get close to Shawn. He could confide in him. He felt his face getting hot and hoped to god his skin was dark enough to hide his blush. Gus was dark enough to hide small, shy blushes, but not the kind like this. His face had a line of dark pink that had formed and he lowered his head, trying to hide. Even though Gus hated scary movies, he liked the idea of watching them with Shawn. That gave him a valid excuse to snuggle Shawn on the couch and it not be awkward. Gus knew if he told Shawn no about coming to his house, one of two things would happen. One, Shawn might get offended and cry. Two, he'd just keep bugging Gus until he said yes. "Alright, fine. We can do like when we were kids." He relented, knowing he probably should've said no. How was he going to deal with having Shawn around for a whole night? That surely would make Gus' feelings all the stronger. Plus, Gus was living in an apartment now, and he only had one bed. He wasn't so sure Shawn would want to take the couch, and there was no way Gus could take sleeping on a hard couch. He was getting fidgety as his anxiety level rose.
"Shawn. We should go now." He said, getting jumpy as Lassiter walked in. He pretty much hated Lassiter, mostly because he felt like Lassie was flirting with Shawn. Seriously, why else would he act like such an ass just to Shawn? The 'head detective' walked up and smirked. "Spencer, Gusster." He greeted and then plopped down, earning him a death glare from Gus. He wanted Lassie to go away at the moment. |
"I know, but it is slightly childish but it would be nice to have time to talk. Jewles knows that I usually spending time with you so that it is alright. I am sure that she is at a retreat for the rest of the weekend." Shawn was not serious with everything he said about the stories and a pillow fight, he just did not want to spend another night alone without his girlfriend. He also wanted to make it seem like fun so Gus would agree to it. Juliet was busy with her friends and spending alone time and having relaxing time. Why shouldn't he be able to do the same thing? He honestly did not know how he could convince Gus to spend some quality time together, usually it involved scheming but he was not in the mood to create an elaborate scheme to get his attention.
He then looked at Gus in the face. "Are you running a fever that you didn't want me to come over?" He places his hand over gus' forehead and his own. "No, you feel fine are you sick that you don't want me to come over. You were healthy enough to come rushing over here in my near death experience earlier." He then stopped talking about all these reason that gus could have for denying him as he heard Gus accept. He then smiled. "Yes! You won't regret it, we will have a great time!" He then noticed Lassiter was walking in. He said under his breath just loud enough for Gus to hear. "Yes we should have gone." He was not to fond of Lassiter because he is always insisting to keep me off of cases even though I am a better detective then him. Not to mention since Juliet and him had been together he had taken a subtle notice in Juliet and had been flirting with her. He thinks secretly Lassiter is jealous of him and that he is just coming here to show off something. "What do you need Lassiter? We were just going out for lunch." He was not in the mood to deal with him at the moment but he had to be civil otherwise he would bad mouth him to Juliet and he did not need that friction in their relationship as they had currently.. |
Gus flinched when Shawn touched him, his breath hitching. "I-I'm f-fine." He stuttered, jerking away from Shawn's touch. He didn't know why, but being touched by Shawn made his stomach clench and feel jumpy. He wondered if Shawn had noticed his strange reaction. He knew that he was even redder now, probably looking like an idiot.z
Gus smirked when he heard what Shawn said about having Lassiter around. The 'head detective' spoke to respond to Shawn's question. "Nothing Spencer. IzWas just wondering what you guys were doing here." Gus crossed his arms across his chest and pursed his lips. "We have every right to be here. Why don't you tell us what you're doing here." He snapped and Lassie frowned, not expecting Gus' reaction.z Gus stood up and grabbed Shawn's arm, quite literally dragging him out to the car. He was in no mood to deal with Lassie's crap today. "Let's go back to my place. I'll order pizza for us." He said, hoping Shawn would like that. "oh, and I have a pineapple." He said with a grin. It was common knowledge that Shawn adored pineapple on everything. His friend was weird like that, and Gus kept his fridge stocked with food that Shawn liked, knowing that he sometimes would stop by.z "So what do you want to do tonight anyway? I have video games if you want to play those. Or we could do like we used to and tell scary stories. Or just watch horror movies. It all sounds fun to me." He didn't bother stopping by Shawn's place. They wore practically the same size, and Shawn wouldn't look bad in something just a little bit tight on him. Gus was only a bit smaller then Shawn and so his clothes might hug Shawn's body just slightly. That was fine by him, because as far as he was concerned, Shawn looked damn sexy in clothes that hugged him in all the right places. Once they were at his apartment building, Gus parked. "Alright. You ready foe a good old fashioned sleep over?" He asked, not sure if he was excited or nervous. |
Shawn was glad that Lassiter did not need anything and make him work. He only wanted to work on interesting cases and Lassiter's form of entertainment was not the same as his. However Lassiter would not come there for no reason at all so he suspected that he was trying to stall for some reason, so he decided to tease him abit. "See you later I have the feeling you are trying to avoid something and coming here is just another way for you to stall for another half an hour before your date so that you are not early for it." He said due to the nice way Lassiter was dressed and that he would not get that dressed up for a big case, however Gus seemed to be rushing to him to the car. He did not mind since spending time with lassiter would just be a bother to him and he did not feel like coming up with witty lines he had just wanted to go over to Gus's apartment.
Once they got into the car guster mentioned pizza. This sparked his interest, but he had really wanted mexican, however once he mentioned pineapple he was really excited for it. "That sounds delicious, and maybe we could have some chocolate ice cream for dessert." He knew that his buddy had been having a strange chocolate craving recently and thought that he might have it around his apartment. Personally he wouldn't mind some cheerios on top of his chocolate ice cream. "You know I have never actually watched The Da Vinci Code." Despite what he had told other people he had never watched that movie and had wanted to see with someone who would not make fun of him since he had never seen it. Then again he could also figure out what happens next and most people do not like watching movies with him due to this fact. He then noticed that they were not going to his place to pick up some of his clothes and going straight to gus's house, he had never tried on gus's clothing since he was slightly smaller but he knew he could fit in them if he needed to. What about underwear? He had never worn someone else's underwear under normal circumstances but he could in this circumstance since him and gus did share everything while they were growing up so it would not be that strange. |
Gus smiled when Shawn mentioned Chocolate ice-cream. "And I've got plenty of it store up." He said, knowing Shawn must think he was a fat ass for having all that chocolate all the time. He just had cravings and he couldn't help it. He got out of the car and headed up to his room. "Sure. I've never seen it either." He fomented when Shawn said he wanted to see the Di Vinci Code. "First I should get the pizza. I'm just going to order cheese so we both like it." He said, shrugging. He got on his phone and made the call. "They'll be here in about thirty minutes." Gus commented.
Gus walked out and into the bathroom. "I'm taking my shower." He said. He started to pull off his clothes and then stepped into the warm water. He ran soap all over his body and washed himself. It felt nice to be clean, and once he was done he yawned and dried off. He then put on a tshirt and some boxer breifs, then walked out to the kitchen again. "Hey. Shawn?" He called, reaching up to grab a bag of m&ms. "You should go ahead and take your shower too. That way we'll already be ready for bed after the movie." He knew Shawn might want to stay up late, so he'd start the movie around ten after they ate. Hebheard the doorbell and ran to it, grabbing the door and seeing a delivery girl. She grinned at him. "Burton Guster?" She asked and he nodded. "Yeah." She was staring at him, looking down where he was just wearing his boxer shorts. He handed her the money and a tip. "Thanks" He said blandly and closed the door. He didn't want her flirting. He got the box and set it down. "Food's here." He yelled to Shawn ad got a slice for himself. He got the pineapple out of the fridge and put it out for Shawn as well. |
"You remembered the cheerios?" He knew to all other people that might sound really weird but he knew his buddy would have them and not get offended or feel weird by it. It was on of the nice things about having a best friend since being a kid you both knew each other very well. "Sounds delicious. I cannot wait until the pizza gets here. Do you have canned or fresh pineapple for the pizza." Again another thing he liked about having a best buddy that knew you so well you could go over to their house and feel like you are home since you have everything that you could possibly want without having to be home and go shopping every week.
"Have fun taking your shower." Shawn then realized he probably should go to take a shower. He smelled under his arm to see if he really needed to but he didn't want to burden Gus to much by taking a shower and borrowing his clothes, especially since last time he did he stretched out his clothes a bit since he is slightly bigger. However, he realized that he needed to so he might as get a towel set out for himself then set up the TV for the movie so that they could have fun as soon as Gus gets out of the shower. He then noticed that Gus was done with his shower and was in the kitchen "Sure, I will take a shower. Do you mind if I borrow some of your clothes? Since we skipped my place I don't have anything to change into." He knew he didn't have to ask but he might as well so Gus did not get upset again. Shawn then went and took shower while the pizza was on the way. He didn't want to spend much time in the shower since his stomach was rumbling. Shortly he came out of the shower as heard the doorbell ringing and Gus yelling food was there. In a hurry, he didn't bother getting dressed right away and just wrapped a towel around his waist and saw Gus getting a slice for me. "You couldn't wait for me to get out of the shower before you got a slice?" Shawn didn't blame Gus because he had made him worry so much earlier in the day that he was going to die. |
Gus heard Shawn ask if he could borrow clothes. "Sure." He called to him. He certainly didn't mind if Shawn borrowed his stuff. He wasn't even sure why his friend thought he had to ask. He smiled as he listened to Shawn's voice. It was such a nice voice. He shook his head. He knew he shouldn't think like that. Shawn would be freaked out if he found out just what Gus felt he thought.
Gus jumped when he heard Shawn right behind him. He turned around and gasped a little. Why was Shawn just in a towel? He felt a hot blush creeping on his face. "S-Shawn...why....w-why are you um.." He shook his head and put down his slice of pizza, swallowing. He felt sickly nervous. He needed Shawn to put his clothes on. "Shawn." He whispered. "Please put some clothes on." He requested, his voice cracking. "I mean, it's kind of awkward for you to be practically naked in front of me." He knew it shouldn't feel so awkward, but seriously, Shawn was too damn sexy to be prancing around with no more than a towel on. Gus picked back up his slice of pizza and took a small bite. "Just put on some boxers ok?" He said, thinking he could handle that much. |
"Whats wrong?" Shawn did not seem to mind being in just boxers around Gus. They practically grew up together there is nothing that that should embarrassed him, however it did. "I am sorry I did not mean to make you feel weird about it." Secretly shawn grabbed the pineapples before going back to Gus's bedroom and getting a pair of boxers. He then put a towel over the boxers and came back to the kitchen eating the pineapples with his fingers. "Do you want some?" He asked casually as he knew it was making Gus slightly nervous that he still had the towel on. What Gus didn't know was that he was in fact wearing the boxers but they were tight on him and he knew that might make him more nervous. Before Gus could react he set down the pineapples on his counter and grabbed a slice of pizza. "This is good." He then waited for his response.
He knew he shouldn't put Gus in these awkward situations where he did not know how to react but it was fun. It is not like he was hurting his feelings or teasing him too much. He was just trying to get him to relax. However he started feel a drift from not having a shirt on and went back to Gus's room to get shirt. He found old t-shirt of Gus's and threw it on and put the towel into the dirty clothes hamper. Now Gus wouldn't feel weird with him in a shirt, even though the clothes is slightly tight on him. He walked back out to the kitchen to get Gus's approval. "Does this make me look fat?" with a slight hint of sarcasm to get Gus to laugh. |
((you're nakie o.o))
Gus was glad when Shawn put on some clothes. He heard him ask I'd he looked fat. Gus turned and looked at him, the blush returning to his face. "N-No." He cursed his stuttering. He was acting like an idiot and he knew he'd best stop acting like a scared little school girl. He took a little peice of pineapple and nibbled on it. "Shawn?" He asked. He sat down on the couch and turned on the tv. "Come on. I'm going to start the movie. It's already pretty late." He popped in the DVD and then froze. A soft little smile crossed his face. "Hey Shawn?" His grin widened. "Wanna watch Gothika?" Gus still had that movie and hadn't even opened it from the plastic. He liked scary movies, just not while alone. With Shawn here it wouldn't be so bad. He went over to the case were he kept his movies and looked for all the cool movies he had were. "Shawn? I don't even know if I have the Di Vinci Code." He frowned. "I can run put to blockbuster if you want though." He figured they could watch several movies, not just one. |
((Yes, I was. I was playing with outfits, You like? :P ))
"No there is no need to go to blockbuster we can just watch the movies you have here Guster. It would just be a waste of time and by the time you got back we would most likely want to go to bed." Shawn liked teasing him a bit and making puns out of his name. "Gothika sounds good to me." He honestly did not have any idea what the movie was but from the way Gus wanted to watch it, it must be scary. Most movies that Gus watches alone are boring but sometimes he wants to watch a scary movie but he cannot watch it by himself since it scares him. Next thing he knows Gus is suggesting that they watch it together sometime so that they can watch it together. He didn't mind it since the movies never bothered him. "If you don't want to watch a movie at all we could always play truth or dare?" Shawn said with a slight grin, knowing that he would never accept. Gus never liked Shawn's dares since they usually involve doing something that was bizarre that he would not agree to them unless he came along and did it with him. Tonight in particular he was feeling a bit devious and wanted to do something to make tonight memorable. |
((yes, very sexy ;D))
Gus cocked a single eyebrow. "Truth or dare?" He thought about it. Everytime he played this game with Shawn, he was always dared to do something crazy. But why not? That would just be like old times. "Fine, but I'm not licking anything unsanitary." He declared. He could remember times when Shawn made him do all kinds of stupid stuff. He turned off the tv and sat on a pillow in the floor. "Come sit here and we can play whenever you're done eating." Gus had already finished eating what he was going to and he was just waiting on Shawn to finish up. He'd eat the ice-cream later if he wanted any. "Oh, and when you get dessert, the cheerios are in the pantry." He was staring at his friend, looking down when he realized he was doing it. |
He finished up his last slice of pizza and took the pineapples and came up behind Gus and sat on a pillow. "Definitions of unsanitary?" He was making sure what he had in mind was going to be alright or was he? He wanted to confuse Gus for a bit so that he had no idea what he was going to do. "Do you want to go first?" He might as well let Gus have the option since he came up with an idea of it. He sat excited like when they were younger playing truth or dare. Like when he dared Gus in elementary school to lick the stop sign. How was he suppose to know that your tongue gets stuck to a pole in the middle of the winter?

Gus frowned. "No lamps, walls, counters, couchs, toliets, old people, feet, cats, dogs, fish, or stop signs." He said, hoping that list had every gross thing that Shawn might want him to lick. "Or anything painful. I am NOT going to try and see if my hand can stand fire like you told me to when we were kids." He wondered what exactly Shawn had in mind when it came to this game. "Yes. I want to go first" He responded. "Truth or dare." He had a little smirk on his face. He was going to get Shawn before he could get him. He was so excited, even more than he had been when they were younger. He just couldn't wait to play.

((I bet you like it! I tried to make it look like shawn))
Shawn laughed at Gus's list. It was good start for him to make a list of things he doesn't want him to do but it did not include TV's, the floor, the shower, or licking soap all of which he found could be possible yet funny items for him to do. He could also make Gus lick him. Now that was a good idea for him. He smirked when Gus said he wanted to go first, but he was alright with it, what could he really do to him? "Dare, and you better make it a good one." He chuckled a little bit to himself, what would he do that could possible embarrass him. |
Gus put a finger to his lips as he thought. He had to find something that would humiliate Shawn. "I dare you...to..." He stopped. There wasn't so much he could do that would be all that embarrassing. "Tale a nude picture of yourself and post it on Facebook." Gus was grinning like an idiot. Seriously, how could it get more embarrassing than that? The whole world would be able to veiw it..well, all of Shawn's Facebook friends at least, including his own father. He knew that was a kind of adult thing to say in a child's game, but why not have a truth and dare for big boys? They were men now and they needed to upgrade from licking stop signs and prank calls, to nude pics and naughty no nos.
((yes, I do like it. I think I'll try and make Gus.)) |
