April's and MintyRey's Under the Cherry Blossom Tree

There were a few clouds in the sky lazily floating along, rarely would one cross paths with the bright, distant sun. The sky was a merry blue, only a shade or two off from that of the river's. It was a calm day, and every sound, from the nearby forest to the vast, hill-dotted clearing, danced together in a soothing symphony.

Except for the rambunctious fracas happening under a solitary cherry tree....

Two girls sat, side-by-side, leaning comfortably under the sakura with their eyes glued to the laptops in front of them. The younger one looked up at the mention of her name, glasses briefly reflecting the far off light of the sun.

Once upon a time, in a ~~galaxy~~ forest far, far away, there lived a wicked witch who ruled a great land. For the longest time, only the forest was safe from her reach. But eventually, the ancient woods fell at the knee to her bitter invasion. After her latest victory, the witch decided to set up her new castle in the forest, a towering spire that cast a terrible shadow over all. No creature dared set foot within a mile of its walls, and no plant, save for eldritch thorns grew around it.

~~Sauron's~~ The old witch's reign was a cruel one. Many people have tried to escape, but were soon deterred from taking up the endeavor after seeing all the corpses of those who have been caught line the edges of their country. They now live their days in suffering while the nights are spent in fear, holed up inside their houses.

But there remained a small glimmer of hope. Rumor has it that a resistance movement had taken root in the depths of the forest itself. Stories of brave people and animals gathering to fight off the witch and take back the land were whispered with the utmost caution within closed doors lest the witch caught wind of them. While some despairingly dismissed such tales, others clung desperately to the only light they could find under the tower's gloom.

An outsider who happened to wander into the witch's territory through an unknown path. His/her motives are unclear but both factions watch him/her intently. Whether he/she will aid the oppressor or the oppressed remains to be seen.

it's actually Garlic that we Wolves hate so much.
The stench of a crushed bulb
drives us crazy enough

no matter how much we bathe.
Eating it whole, however,

Likes: Making everyone suffer, being queen, dark magic, subjects who obey her orders without question.
Dislikes: Goodness, light magic, anyone who dares speak against her/ does not follow her commands, the rebels, wolves.
Hobbies: Torturing, instilling fear, practicing dark magic on the helpless, ordering people around, corrupting flora and fauna with the evil arts.
Personality: Harsh, calculating, mistrustful, domineering, cruel, and basically Eeeeeeeeviiiiillllll!!!!
Abilities: Command over monstrous army of creatures, high proficiency with the arcane, inability to be killed by normal means
Weapons: Magic, Monsters, Sharp Claws
History: Rising to power through any underhanded means, the sorceress, Cyfnos, soon found herself sitting on a glorious throne she had built over the agony and deaths of thousands. As a young woman, she would study under many a witch and warlock over the span of many years, gaining their knowledge before killing them. Cyfnos used her magic to create minions out of shadows that would do whatever she wished. Though she had such loyal abominations as her servants, the witch would use other means to achieve greatness. She preferred using her magic to keep herself young and beautiful. With her enchanting looks, she reveled in stealing the hearts and money of many suitors before sending them the way of her former teachers. Even the king of Elderwood was not immune to her wiles. Not long after his unfortunate and mysterious death, the kingdom found itself in the service of a merciless and unstoppable master. Strangely, many wolves and dogs would be found torn to shreds wherever she had decided to rest.
Weakness: Getting stabbed by a canine's fang or getting beheaded by another mage can kill her. Getting beheaded by a weapon of sufficient magical strength can also do the trick.

Faction: The witch’s.
Likes: Most baked goods but not cakes, cupcakes or anything with icing. A calm walk through the woods, especially if it’s following a mark.
Dislikes: Being called Red. People who ask too many questions.
Hobbies: Going for light runs. Gambling
Personality: Straightforward, and sometimes cold to those she sees as her inferiors, many of her words are laced with sarcasm.
Abilities: Swift, extremely agile and stealthy. Also very deadly with daggers and poisons.
Weapons: Dual blades usually coated in a variety of poisons or toxins.
History: Gabrielle has no memory of either of her parents, the only family she ever remembers having is her grandmother,Cyfnos, whether they are actually blood related or not is a question only Cyfnos knows the answer to for sure. When Gabrielle was in her early teens she began to show sympathy towards the rebellion. Cyfnos took her on a secluded trip and when she returned home she no longer questioned her grandmothers actions or motives. Gabrielle never speaks of what happened on this trip, so to this day none know if the witch convinced, coerced or bespelled her into becoming the loyal soldier she is now.
Weakness : Gabrielle is completely mortal, if a highly skilled one. Anything that can kill or harm a human will do the same to her as well.
