My two cats are from different litters but were adopted at the same time from the same humane society. They slept together as kittens but now they don't really share space (they do take turns though, so they're at least not territorial).

Haha, my cats were from the same litter, and my boy didn't really like sharing with his sister once they got grown (for some reason he'll share resources with any kitten on the planet, but once they grow up, he hates them). Someone stole Fierce, the sister, though.

OOH YAY. Girlcat moved from under the couch to the cat tree (which is behind me). So she's not being all scaredy at least right now.

Yeah, but Fierce was GORGEOUS. She was small for a Maine Coon. She was a tabby with a lot of black in her fur, and her fur was like satin. And her eyes were just shockingly green. We weren't terribly happy about it, though. I figure, if you go through that kind of effort to steal a spayed cat, though, you're probably gonna take care of it. So I take comfort in that.

Nope, she's still cranky. I let her smell my hand and she started hissing and growling again. xD

See, that really seems like she doesn't like the way you smell to me. When does the hubby get home?

Aww..kitties are so weird sometimes. My Himalayan gets all mad at me when she smells other cats she doesn't know on me. XD She'll growl and hiss a few times then she's okay. She's a bit of a princess. XD

My dogs are weird, they like to sniff me all over if there are a couple of new dog or cat smells on me, but Maddie used to go INSANE and run and hide when I came back from the vet's office until I took a shower. It's like there is an animal smell threshold or something.

He was supposed to be home half an hour ago but he's probably with the intern (the intern started last week and hubby is basically his mentor).

OMG also I just found out that one of the mystery calls I got today is from the company I want to work for! I've applied to FIVE positions so far and this is the FIRST where I got a call! YAYYYYYY!

Aww. My mom's dog freaks out like that when he smells my animals on me when I visit them.

HEY MAAAAAGZ! I just took a walk outside and saw THREE quail by the nest! Two gents and a lady. I got a picture of one of the gents. I'm so relieved to finally SEE them near the nest!

No, no. I won't ever quit my radio job. I love it too much.

I worked at McDonalds but quit because I got tired of all the BS they were putting me through there. I worked there for over two years and always had close to 40 hours a week every week. They suddenly decided to cut my hours and I told them flat out that I'm not wasting gas to work a shift that's not even going to earn me enough gas money to drive out there. They still did not give me more hours so I put my two weeks in. My last day was yesterday and the store manager was trying to get me to stay even though she's the one that gives hours to people and I did tell her several times that if I do not get hours I am quitting. It wasn't just not getting hours that made me quit but that was a final straw kind of thing.

Oh okay, I was hoping it wasn't your radio job xD

YAY hubby finally came home! He handled girlcat and she was fine, and while he was holding her I held up my hand and she freaked out and he was like O_O and I was like "yeah, she's mad at me."

So, she's fine at least. Just cranky.

Eeeee!!! QUAILS!!! I so can't wait until the nest hatches! Haha. I'm living vicariously through you.

I hated job hunting last year. It was so discouraging after 6 months when no one would call back and everytime I'd call them, they'd already filled the job or just brush me off. Not looking forward to goin through that again in the fall.

It wasn't too bad of a job compared to my last job, I just got tired of getting things dumped on me and people not doing their jobs and expecting me to do everything. I used to work at a major pet store chain and that was a lot worse.

Allergies were horrible for me today too. :( It's the weather...it got cold though.

Lucky on the cold! It hit 92 today. I don't have allergy problems, it's mosquitos for me :(

I think it's going to storm so that's a good thing as long as it doesn't knock my power out again.
