I don't get how people seem to have it easy. My sister's like that too where she has a good paying job, lives in a nice house and is engaged. I'm the same way with not knowing exactly what I want to do yet and my insurance is kinda sucky.

steelmagghia 06-11-2012 03:39 AM

Heh. My insurance is non existent. :/
I guess I have to at least admit that it is kind of time for things to go easy for my sister. Things went super easy for me from about Jr. High to beginning of college. Even though I was overweight, I still made all the dance teams I tried out for, had boyfriends, did great in school without really trying, and had a lot of close friends. My sis had it a lot harder then. So it is nice to see things go well for her.
I just wish that I was that put together. I feel like things just sort of accidentally worked out for me earlier, and now I have no idea how to actually plan well.

Yeah... this stuff is just so heavy. Hubby and I just spent ANOTHER hour and a half talking about it. We basically came to the conclusion that I should just split my job search between here and "home" and if I get an interview there he'll book a one-way flight for me and we'll figure it out from there.

The (sortof) cool thing is that I have a good college friend who currently lives less than a mile away from where I grew up and his company has an opening that is PERFECT for me. Or I am perfect for it. Whichever. So I'm gonna talk to him tomorrow to see how I could get the hiring process expedited in some way, so I'd get a quicker yes or no answer from them.

Plus I have like no shame for living in my dad's basement in order to cut costs xD

(though realistically I'd just get my old bedroom back ;D)

steelmagghia 06-11-2012 04:42 AM

Well, good luck my dear. I'm sure whatever you find will be perfect for you and things will work out. *hugs*
I think I shall be heading to be now.
Goodnight kids.

Keyori 06-11-2012 04:42 AM

Thanks

Sweet dreams!

RoadToGallifrey 06-11-2012 11:45 AM

*licks thread*

dessertdesiert 06-11-2012 12:40 PM

>.>' I never understood why people lick threads.

RoadToGallifrey 06-11-2012 02:04 PM

To leave their mark forever and ever and ever?

Keyori 06-11-2012 03:06 PM

Well it does taste pretty delicious.

RoadToGallifrey 06-11-2012 03:10 PM

*takes a bite out*

Someone ate it! D:

dessertdesiert 06-11-2012 03:14 PM

Do eat the thread! I don't want it to disappear. I love the cute pictures of furballs

Keyori 06-11-2012 03:17 PM

Just try to eat around the animals >3>;;

Oh, and today I am not going to see ze kitties. I need to get my car into the shop because the brakes are about to fail :ninja:

RoadToGallifrey 06-11-2012 03:19 PM

*wipes thread and fur from mouth*

Oops...

Oh you definitely need that sorted! The brakes on my ex's car failed one night when we were out. We were on a road with a lot of blond corners too, absolute nightmare! D;

dessertdesiert 06-11-2012 03:29 PM

Oh boy >.>' my friend had her breaks fail on her truck several times before she got a new car. Luckily she never crashed when it happened.

Keyori 06-11-2012 03:31 PM

I keep having nightmares about it :gonk:

I just need new brake pads. They're squealing pretty badly right now.

Kirin Rosenbaum 06-11-2012 03:33 PM

Hello thread.

RoadToGallifrey 06-11-2012 03:42 PM

Your friend sounds lucky, Desi!

There's nothing worse than a noisy car. Exhaust problems are also pretty annoying. D:

Hiya Kirin.

Kirin Rosenbaum 06-11-2012 03:47 PM

How are you Bucket?

RoadToGallifrey 06-11-2012 03:48 PM

I'm doing well thanks. C: And you?

dessertdesiert 06-11-2012 04:21 PM

One time the inside of my brother's car got all smoky >.>

RoadToGallifrey 06-11-2012 04:23 PM

My mum's car caught fire before. xD The only time the inside of a car got smokey for me was in a hot box, so that was nothing to do with the car. :ninja:

Keyori 06-11-2012 04:24 PM

I've caught an engine on fire before. Bad head gasket 8D

Hatake Ayumi 06-11-2012 04:25 PM

Never had that happen to me, but I've driven down the highway and seen a bunch of teenagers standing next to a burning car... > ___ >;;

dessertdesiert 06-11-2012 04:33 PM

I saw a car on the side of a highway once on fire >.>' the whole thing was in flames... kinda scary

RoadToGallifrey 06-11-2012 04:56 PM

I've never seen a proper car fire before. Fire does really interest me though. There was a house near mine that caught fire the other day.
