I do too, I think they're adorable, and somewhere there exists a picture of me as a little kid with snakes wrapped around my arms and legs and a Boa wrapped all around my middle. :D
My dad and her owner had to come get her off of me after he took the picture, because she was getting too cozy with my neck. >.>;; |

I personally wouldn't have a snake that big. Actually I probably wouldn't have a snake, period now that I've had mice as pets. I have a hard time seeing an animal as food (for another animal or a human) after I've had one of them as pets. |
I love snakes but anything over 6 feet should not be kept as a "pet" in my opinion just because there's too many idiots who get a hold of the giant snakes.

I never really thought that way until I worked down at Detroit animal control. Some of the things that I saw down there just made me want to strangle someone.

Yeah, I couldn't either. I had to work at a shelter that had a vet office and that was the closest one at the time. I used to live in a pretty sheltered community so before that I had no idea that people were so awful to animals.

Well the spider is easy, even though I didn't get a picture of the markings (stupid camera focus)

The lizard looks like a Western Fence Lizard. They're pretty common where you are. And without the markings, I can't say on the spider exactly, but it looks like a black widow.

It is a black widow. It has a SMILEY FACE on the top! HOW CRUEL IS THAT?!
But the hourglass on its underside is pretty unmistakeable. AND I CAN'T SQUISH IT IS IS ON THE WINDOW THAT DOES NOT OPEN It is waiting for me to fall asleep and then KILL MY WHOLE FAMILY |
Squish it with a tissue. They're not hard to kill! Or spray it with some RAID.

I thought it was a fence lizard too. Super cute lil guys The spider on the other hand is creepy. I mean it's pretty but something about spiders just freaks me out. I found a widow in my kitchen, killed it then told my friend about it then she said they were probably laying eggs on the underside of my toilet. ;-; |
