I AM BACK! We got frozen yogurt, sat on the pier, and saw a SEA OTTER IT WAS SOOOO CUTE! I didn't bring my phone with me though so no photos ;_;

Then we went on a drive around the area and did some explorin'.

Also let me just say how much I love the cattery. It's a u-shaped area, with two rooms "inside" the U. The first one is to enter the cattery, and has three more doors. Two of the doors go into either side of the u, and the third goes into a service room where bedding and litter and other supplies are stored. Then the end of each side of the u is an indoor area with lots of shelving and hollow tunnel boxes on the walls and catwalks near the ceiling. Then each of those has a door into the outdoor area where there's more catwalks. It's open to the air (as you can see in the photo) and there's like a zillion catboxes out there, so the cattery doesn't smell right as you walk in. At night they shut the people doors but the cats have their own cat doors and can still come and go as they please. That way they can come inside if the weather is bad but stay spread out and not cooped up if it's nice out. It's pretty damn cool.

The cattery sounds amazing.

When I go in tomorrow I'll try to take more pictures of just the facility. It's really cool and I've wanted an "outdoor cat room" for my own for a while. So it's a really cool model for building something simple.

Oh! My friend and I went to a local pet store because they were having adoption day and they had kittens and they were all asleep in a huddled mass and one was in the food bowl~ <3 all cozy~

Hahaha! When we have anyone over, boycat gets terrified and will hide in the litterbox under the sink. And he'll fall asleep there if the visitor doesn't go away xD
