I don't think anyone's nearly as awkward online as they are in reality! I know I'm not. I don't necessarily get around a lot of people, mainly my few friends and that's it. More than those three, and I'm in the corner dodging questions and comments, thinking Leave me alone, I'm being reclusive!
I love stalking threads! It's so fun to do! Then again, I rarely have much to add to the conversation. Maiden: Of course I will! Why wouldn't I? She's your character, after all. |
Oh, good point there! I'm the polar opposite of my twin brother, who was the life of a party and loved to socialize (he'd drag me out with him so I'd not be alone). Bloody annoying person he was, but at the same time, I didn't mind it and I'd do anything to have just one more day with him. But I can so relate to not wanting to have to be around large numbers of people.
And it is fun! Sometimes I have a lot to say - others I totally zone out and just sneakily read along without saying anything. [XD] |

Well, just didn't want to put you in an awkward place online... thank you ^_^ |
Liv: Your brother sounds a lot like my two adult friends. Always dragging me, kicking and screaming, from my reclusive little home and into that big bad town... It's scary there. All kids of people! But I humor them. It's just for the day.
Usually I just wander in, then forget where I even am. Sometimes they've called me out! Then I take off and feel like a stalker that's just got caught. Maiden: Don't worry, I can work my ways around awkwardness. Sometimes. Well enough. |
Very nice. I might disappear soon. It is after midnight here. So eager for the weekend, you have no idea. I just have to get through Friday first.
|
Tachi (is it ok if I call you that): *lol* Oh, my brother would actually find a way to make me think it was my idea or just not give me a choice and I knew that he'd literally drag me out in whatever I was wearing, so I'd, rather reluctantly, go and change - leaving him and his boyfriend to laugh at me dragging my feet. *lol*
Awhh, I usually end up getting pulled offline mid conversation by my almost toddler (she can walk like 2 steps - hasn't quite gotten past 2 yet... well, she did get 3 the other day, but I think it was a fluke - so I'm not considering a total toddler, not quite yet). And then loosing where I was. >.<; Or forgetting to come back. Heh. |
Friday! Good luck with Friday, Maiden. It's usually the day of reckoning for me.
Liv: You can call me that, everyone does if they don't call me Wolfie! That's terrible. Luckily I'm much larger (in height) than anyone else I know. Or anyone in town. So they can't really pick me up to haul me off unless they use two people. It's not come to me playing boneless yet, but you never know! She sounds adorable! If I'm not at home, at a friend's house on their computer for a bit, I tend to be pulled away by my female friend's eight-year-old. She's a bag of energy. Doesn't let me rest for a moment! |
Tachi: Alright! :) And LUCKY! I'm on the smaller side, so I'm easier to just pick up and carry out. [headdesk] Which did happen on a few times - and I know my husband loves the fact that I'm not super tall, and hard to pick up. :XD Heh.
Oh, she is!! Rather funny and adorable, and keeps our lives interesting, that's for sure!! And haha, kids do have WAY too much energy sometimes! I wonder where they find it all? Can I please have some? |
I used to be small. Tiny, in fact, in which my real name came to be held true. I was named after a little dog called Gizmo, that died a year before I was born. I just suddenly grew when I was about thirteen and didn't stop until I was almost seven feet tall. That's probably my second greatest achievement.
Kids always seem to keep things interesting. Their views are so different, and they're hilarious sometimes! Luckily I've still got a good amount of kid-energy. Keep it up by going outside and getting things done! |
Oh, wow! That's crazy! I'm about 5'5" - little one, I am!!
They definitely do, I can't wait for my daughter to start talking in more words and not just gibberish, so we can have conversations. :D Oh, lucky you! I'm low on energy, although being pregnant at the same time as trying to keep up with a 1 year old doesn't give one a lot of energy to begin with. [lol] |
Hey Tachi, my Friday has started! Woohoo! Now to just get through it ^_^
|
Our Friday is just around the corner! Should be here in.... Oh, four hours and thirty-eight minutes! Precisely...
It'll be over soon, don't worry! |
I really want out of this office. By myself. Away from people. I feel swamped and stifled. I might appear to be a happy outgoing teacher, but I am actually a lot closer to my mermaid character than many would believe... at least as an introvert... and jumpy. No one believes me when I say I am an introvert. That I like time by myself. They point out reasons they think I am an extrovert and it drives me up the way because I know they are wrong. I've been surrounded by lots of students all week. I need some breathing room.
|
Sometimes only your closest friends can know how you really are. And sometimes they make you get out there in the real world anyway despite wanting to wish it were completely empty of your peers. I'm a lot like my own merman character as well, really. An introvert, very nervous around crowds, hardly able to really speak in front of more than a few people unless it's under great circumstances.
Don't you worry! At least you have someone that can relate to you! |
^_^ And for that I am grateful... one last class and I am free!!! sorta, have to run to town but then I am free ^_^
|
Yay! Er, I mean... No, that's what I mean. Yay!
Stupid time differences. It's almost midnight here. But I'll stick around how I can! |
I think, so you are now online, that my best chance lays in catching you when you get up ^_^
|
I wasn't, actually. In spirit I was! But that's not really enough, is it? I'm online for real now.
|
*Rolls around*
It's been raining here for the past three days. Flash flood warnings everywhere! |
I hate your rain! I want it to rain here! It's ninety-four degrees already and rain is a thing of the past!
|
I am sorry! ;-;
Nothing I do or say will make the rain go your way! *Flail* |
We've got a thirty-percent chance on Tuesday, and they're putting up a massive black raincloud as if it's really coming around in full force. I think they're overly optimistic.
|
I usually don't pay attention to the the 30%. It never rains here even if there's a 50% chance of rain. It's so lame.
|
I generally don't pay attention to any percentage. Even if the rain's right beside town it usually just passes right beside and laughs at us.
