Hrmm.... Maybe magic users are being publicly executed by Crusaders. After a few months words of a resistance pops up. Belfire finds himself joining and lending his magic to them to stop the Crusaders. Now, here's my question. Since Belfire is bisexual, would you like his romanceable companion to be male or female? c: I can play both, but I lean more to playing females. c: |
I do not mind, he can work with both, so whatever you feel more comfortable working with. I have been often getting requests for hetero one on ones, but few follow through on them once they ask lol. I think Belfire would only be helping if there is something in it in the end for him XD. He is a pirate after all, so maybe your character can enlist him (depending on if you are making someone with magic) and promises him some kind of reward. Of course as the story goes on, it would become less about the reward, and more about the pair of them.
If you are deciding to make someone out to get the magic wielders, then he could just be in the wrong place and the wrong time and have to help them in order not to die himself. After that, he could be mistaken as someone affiliating with them and told to be taken down? It depends really on what kind of character you plan to make in the end lol. |
Hrm. Perhaps I should tell you what my original idea was. c: (that also might help me decide!)
So for the magic user, I was thinking that her and Belfire get off to a rocky start, with Belfire being a pirate, she worries if his loyalties can be bought. She doesn't really know why Belfire is with them(as you said he was probably given some sort of reward or promised a prize) , but she constantly worries about him stabbing her and the Rebellion in the back. But as they continue to fight together, obviously that becomes less of a problem and they slowly start to form their relationship. (should be rather funny to watch, should we go this route) And then BAM! Someone from Belfire's mysterious past (I had to go back and read his past, lol) a former flame, happens to be with the Crusaders, and wants to 'reconnect' with Belfire and asks him to be a spy for the Crusade. OH, and the Crusader is male. Hm. With that voiced, I will create the female magic user. c: |

In my original idea I would've been both, and I still can be, if you do choose to go that route.
But if you think that's too much hassle (which it kind of is, lol) then we can just stick with my magic user and go from there. c: |
