"Oh..." Was another of her air-headed responses. "It could take a while, maybe even a whole day if we want me to completely work on it. If it was my dad he could just fix it right here in a few minutes." Even though she worked with weapons a lot she didn't know much about them, since anything her father taught her passed through her head. He was still alive of course but he no longer had use of his arms due to old age.

"If that's what you want me to do, but it's not cheap...that's just business."

Gemini 05-19-2012 03:04 AM

Rosemary frowned."sorry, came home? I just left my house.and what's a changeling? Can anyone tell me what is going on please? You- you can't be real fairies.the fae are...a myth.that's what everyone says.you are real, aren't you? Whoa.whoa.this is unbelievable.but what's a changeling, and why do you think I am one?"

Triquetra 05-19-2012 05:14 AM

Alfgeir floated over the fields. Within his hands held a notebook, of which he was writing updates for the feilds. He had so much to watch over. Certain plots would be ready at certain times, he would need to plant more seeds soon after. Preparing for winter could be such a nightmare. Even it it did seem early. It only got worse as fall struck, as when that was when the rest of the fae decided they need to stock up at the same time. It was the same nightmare every year. He floated up over the corn feilds. Taking a look at a few of the ears of yellow gold. He did not have many of them thins time of year, but tried to grow as many as possible. For now he would mass grow many of the spring crops. And start planting for Summer. "So much to do?! Alfgeir said outloud.

He proceeded to check over the cherry trees, the kiwi bushes, and even the mint leaves. Everything seemed to be coming along nicely. A sound caught his ears. Baby birds?! In his fields? It was not like Geir didn't like animals.. He just did not like him eating his crops. He worked hard, just to get them taken away. He opened the bushes up to see a nest of cute Quail babies, and their parents. The Mother was snacking on some of the berries.

"Avery!!!" He practically screamed after closing the bush. He started to fly into the village. Now, let's remember Geir was not wearing a shirt. He rarely did in fact, since it would just get dirty while he worked. In the distance he could see Isadora and Absynthia. The male fae was floating a bit above the ground while he asked, "Good morning ladies. Have either of you two scene Avery today? I found a couple of baby Quails, and I am not sure what to do with them."

----------

Avery had been woken up in the morning, rather early. One young couple had gone into labor early that morning. Meaning Avery was up well before the crack of dawn. Of coarse it did end up with two new additions to the small town. She had been with the couple the entire step of the way, and would continue to see the babies until they were about three or so. This was her life. Today though would prove to be a bit of a challenge. Avery was very low on herbs. And by low, she was supposed to go into the forest and gather a few more. Alfgeir couldn't grow what she needed within the farms. Corrupted the foods he told her. She wqas supposed to get more three days ago.. But with spring here, she has not gotten any sleep. Every second a new Fae is being born, pregnant mothers wish to speak with her, or she is pulled away from everything to check on animals. Whither it be livestock, pets, or wildlife someone found hurt.

What all this came down to was Avery not sleeping, or being able to rest for more than a few hours. But this was every spring. Leaving her house, she had a small basket she planned to put forest plants into. Avery was scene as one of the fairest and most beautiful fae the village offered. This came from her power over life and birth. It gave her that beautiful mother quality. Sadly though because of her inability to have children of her own, many male fae in the town were not interested. Her hair was a golden and curled. Her dress was while with green floral accents. There was even a white flower in her hair. A pair of slippers covered her feet from rocks and branches.

Avery left her house and headed towards the main gate. Her mind was elsewhere. Mainly on her bed.. and sleeping in it. A few figures came into view. The Guardian of the Fae, the princess, and a human.... a human? Her eyes widened a bit while the strange girl as Avery walked up.

"A changeling is a baby who is switched at birth with one of our kind. We don't have any humans here though. Plus our village is fairly large, we don't resorts to such measures.." Fairy kind were known for switching children when their numbers when down, and inbreeding would soon become a problem. Avery's voice was very soft. But audible. She spoke even like a mother. Calm, lovely and simply with a grace. Only maybe the blinded guardian would notice the hint of tiredness her voice carried.

Inuyami 05-19-2012 03:36 PM

Acknowlegeing the bow recieved from Blake, Kaigen nodded and went strait to looking the changeling over. He used his walking staff to lift her chin, poke at her clothes and examine her air. Finx was indeed right, she was most certainly a fae who's powers of illusion had been so strong she fooled everyone, even herself.

"Rosemary is it?" Kaigen said in a curious calm voice as he looked into the white haired girls golden yellow eyes. "I would seem you've shrouded yourself in mysteries... come, come..." The elder said to the girl as he turned to begin leading her threw the forest to his home. He wouldn't take her to the heart of Tanana, but he needed to speak with this girl in privacy.

---------------------------------------------------

When Syn was bumped into by Isadora, she couldn't help but return the warm smile that beamed up at her. Syn loved children and to see them in such a good mood always warmed her heart.

"Sorry Isadora," Absynthia said to the young fae kneeling down to her level. "I think he's been on duty at the edge of the kingdom. He should be back to servey the inner village soon however." The two females where aproached and addressed and Syn looked up to see that it was Alfgeir, the grower. "Good morning Alfgeir." Syn said standing tall again and looking at the man. "I believe I caugh a glimps of her heading for the outter limits. I assume she went to see Blake or help an animal."
---------------------------------------

"I don't a full days work isn't neccissary." Andrew said giving the airheaded black smith an exausted sigh. It always seemed she was always trying to get him to linger in her workshop. He pinched the bridge of his nose and felt the forest getting further and further away. "Could you just look it over please? If it needs adjustments I'll pay for them, but if it's not worth it I'll just buy a new one."

----------------------------------------
Link was amazed at how well trained Leo was with a blade. He looked from the man back to the free blades before picking a six inch dager up and balancing it's center point on the end of his index finger. It fell to the floor after a moment and Link quickly recovered it and returned it to the display. A couple blades later the white haired boy found a five inch blade that suited him and was perfectly balanced with his chemistry. He looked up at Leo and smiled proudly once he'd finished wrapping the piece of leather on the hilt of the short blade.

Kilia 05-19-2012 05:15 PM

Leo looked at the two, chuckling, he knew what was going on between the two, he wasn't stupid to everything that was happening at the moment even though he was not saying anything to them at the moment as he let them interact. "Not bad Link." he said to him as he chuckled, patting him on the head as he looked at the blade, nodding his head in approvement. "Now you can protect your self with it and use it for anything else." he said to him as he picked at his nails with his new knife as he watched his friend and Shu almost flirting with each other.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Isadora bite her lip as she fidgeted a bit, she was clearly worried about her father considering well he is blind and had lost her mother so she took it upon her self to take care of him. "If he is at the gate then he won't leave it until night time....." she said to her, her normal smiling face that has been compared to that of the sun, she picked at a sun ray that was next to them before she smiled up at the woman. "Thank you, Syn...." she said to her before she blushed at seeing Alfgeir, fidgeting a bit as she seemed to hide behind Absynthia as she tried to make her self look a bit better. "Hi, Alfgeir......um....." that was all she was able to say to him, not sure what else to say to him about anything.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Blake turned his head to the girl as she spoke, sighing as he could tell that someone else was coming up on them, this was just not his day today, everyone seemed to want to leave the kingdom once more. "Avery.......your tired, go home get some sleep. I am on order by the king not to let any fae leave the kingdom today." he repeated once more as he rubbed his face, sighing before he grabbed a piece of darkness and threw it as if it was a blanket as he shrouded the gate with in it once more. "Elder Kaigen.....be careful with that one." he said to him, taking his blind fold off for a few minutes as rubbed his eyes for a few minutes before he put it back on. He was tired of this, of protecting the whole kingdom from the humans but he was the first line of defense considering his power.

finx15 05-20-2012 01:17 AM

Finx went to go after the elder but stopped short as kissed blakes cheek her way of thanking him for all he did. "Wait for me elder." she called she got bored easily and with no ladies in waiting there was no one to do anything with.

Triquetra 05-20-2012 05:00 AM

"Towards the main gate? Great.. I'll just wait until later. I'll never find her out in the woods." Alfgeir sighed as he landed on the ground. He had flown so fast, he was now tired. Or at least his wings hurt a bit. A glimpse of someone new caught his attention... A human? His eyes widened slightly. "Is that a human girl?" Geir said to the two ladies around him. Watching the girl move with the elder. Since the Elder had her, he figured it was hopefully nothing to worry about. Especially since Blake had allowed her past. An idea popped in his head. Geir had lots to do, and hunting down the fairy of life was not a priority.

"Isadora.." He started, looking towards the small girl. She was so sweet, and so innocent. "Would you mind helping old Alfgeir find a new home for the baby quails.?" He asked rather sweetly. Hoping he would not startle her any more than he already had. "Absynthia, you too. I know your element is poison, but can you help also? I'm so bad with animals." Can you even imagine? A fae bad with animals!

------

Avery watched as Kaigen started to take the changeling away. They seemed to not notice her. Which was good. She hoped to be able to just leave without being detected. But no, Blake heard her coming a mile a away. It was not like Avery doubted his abilities. She just wished he would take a lazy day. "Not allowed to leave? I need herbs from the forest." Avery spoke. There was a hint of annoyance in her voice, but it was drowned out by her sweetness. "I am incredibly low, and this is the only time I will be able to get them." Avery tried to plead with the man. She did stop though, for a second as the princess kissed Blake's cheek.

Avery gave the princess a curtsey as she passed by her. Returning to her stance to try and get out of the village. "You are welcome to join me, or assign someone to watch me, but Blake. I have three women who will need something soon to ease the pain in the near future." Avery sighed, rubbing her temples. "I'm sorry if I rose my voice..." Which she didn't, "It is just that time of year, and I need those herbs."

Alura--x--Uneii 05-20-2012 06:36 AM

"You want me to just look at it?....I'm looking at it...but I don't see anything wrong with it...why don't you go and do your hunting and see if it works?" She asked simply, regardless if it was her or her father fixing something such as a gun would take a long while, since knowledge of guns was still primitive.

"If that's all you need..." she was saying, before she heard her mom calling her.

"Oh...mother wants something, I wonder what it is..."

The shop was connected to the rest of her house which was pretty large. Maybe she needed help with something, or one of her many girl friends came to visit?

Inuyami 05-20-2012 06:07 PM

Again, Andrew sighed with a small fire burning in his belly. Was she really this foolish or was she just trying to get under his skin? Andrew's free hand balled into a fist as he faught to keep his inner criticisms to himself. He swallowed, took a deep breath and steadied his core.

"We wanted you to just check it over to see if it would opperate properly if shot. If I go out and shoot it, it could back fire and take off my face!!" Andrew's voice rose a bit with the rythem of his speach. He sighed again at the sound of Shu's mother calling from inside the decent sized familly home.

While Shu was distracted with her mother, Andrew snatched the riffle off from the counter and exited the shop. His cheeks where slightly red with the anger he felt nesting in his chest. He unintionally brushed Link's shoulder as he exited but hadn't noticed in his bullish escape.

---------------------------

Leo's praise made Link feel a thousand feet tall. For a moment, he felt like one of the old guys, like he was part of the crowd, part of the town. Link took care to tie the dagger, in it's sheeth, to his belt loops on his surprisingly clean red outfit. Being caught up in focusing on his dagger, Link didn't notice he was standing behind Andrew. As he was bumped, Link turned and fallowed Andrew and Leo out of the shop.

"Uhm... would it be okay if I fallowed along?" Link asked, swallowing a lump of anxiety that fell like a rock in her stomach. "I won't be in the way, I'll stay quiet and I won't slow you up!" The young boy begged, wishing to just stay in the feeling of being one of the boys.

--------------------------------

Absynthia watched as her grandfather lead the changeling threw the heart of the kingdom. Questioning his sanity, she found that she hadn't heard a word Alfgeir had just said other then her name. She turned her attention back to him, her green eyes sparkles for a moment with curiosity as she recollected her thoughts.

"I'm sorry Alfgeir, Isadora. I've got to figure out what's going on. I'll catch up with you guys later, okay?" Before either could answer, Syn had taken off after her grandfather, the princess and the changeling. Syn headed down a small grassy path that lead out behind the castle, round the whole kingdome and down to the small hallow tree where the toxic fairy and elder lived.

------------------------

Kaigen lead Rosemary and Princess Finx to an ancient tree that stood at the furthest edge of the kingdom. The tree had branches hallowed by insects, turned into windows , a door was crafted from it's own trunk and lead inside that enormous round bace of the tree. Behind the tree, the land had been moved to make a large mound to serve as an addition to the small home. When Kaigen adopted Absynthia, he asked a fae of the land to use his crafts to fassion an underground living area for the new family of two.

When the group of three reached the home of the elder, he invited them inside and insisted the take seats at his table while he busied himself with boiling some tea. He hoped the two girl would have a moment to converse before he began in. Being the princess, Finx would likely be the one left in charge of the newcomer, if she were aloud to stay in the kingdom. Though if such allowance was to happen, Rosemary would never be aloud go return to the life she left behind, she would be ordered to forsake her human life and family.

Gemini 05-21-2012 03:51 AM

Stunned into submission, Rosemary allowed herself to be led through the gates and into the Fae kingdom.sure, some part of her had always believed the stories.she even remembered her mother telling her stories about changeling babies when she was young, but to find out that she was one? It was insanity! Just as she found her voice to protest, she saw her surroundings and was struck dumb once more.the whole place was amazing.I must be dreaming.this can't all be real. she thought, just as she was led through the door of...a tree?! Yes, a tree, carved out to be used as a home.instead of sitting down, Rosemary stayed by the door, as far away from these frighteningly beautiful creatures as possible.yes, she admitted to herself, she was scared.amongst all the wonder and amazement and beauty, she was frightened.what were they going to do to her? She imagined changeling Fae didn't come back very often.in fact, her mother had told her that most of them never find out what they are.only about one percent of changelings ever discovered their true identities, and then only because a real Fae told them.look at that, mom.I'm the one percent.

Inuyami 05-21-2012 05:50 AM

As the tea steeped over the open fire in the fire place, Kaigen turned and looked Rosemary over. He again used his walking cane to poke at the girl and move her limbs around to examine her further. He wondered how old this girl was, or which fae where her real parents. These where meaningless question, at the moment, there were more important things to be known.

"So Rosemary, how did you happen to find your way to our kingdoms gates?" The elder asked turning his attentions back to the boiling pot of herbs. Kaigen grabbed three wooden mugs and poured the tea for the young women. He set the mugs on the table, filled one for himself, and took a seat at the table. "Won't you please sit and join the princess and myself?" He pushed the unclaimed mug towards the changeling as to offer her a seat.

Kilia 05-21-2012 06:32 AM

Blake blind at the kiss on his cheek before he smiled, he loved Finx, but not in a creepy perverted way, just how a uncle would love his niece. He felt like she was family so he treated her like such, Isadora loved it because it meant that she had a sister to play with and bond with. "Finx, be safe and don't let the changeling do anything to you." he called out to her as he listened to her walk away before he turned his head back towards Avery as he listened to what he had to say. "King's orders.....something bad is going to happen...i can feel it." he said to her as he sighed rubbing his face, not like she needed to tell him what she needed after all he knew the needs of the kingdom. "I understand you completely.....that is why i told you time and time again to make a garden for your herbs. I still can not allow you to leave the kingdom even if i go with you we have to stay close to the gate...." he said to her as he sighed rubbing his face once more.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Isadora straightened her dress once more, blushing even more before turning her beaming smile up towards him as she fidgeted a bit more. "Daddy doesn't and would never allow a human in here." she said to him as she looked towards the girl that he had asked about, getting worried since she did look completely like a human. "You mean i can hold baby quails?" she asked him as she smiled at him, Avery normally never lets her play or help with the babies no matter how much she begged. "Bye, Syn!!!" she called to her happily as she waved before taking Alfgeir's hand and yanked it some as she was excited. "Can you show them to me?" she said to him as she bounced around a little bit, tugging him along some as she really wanted to get them.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Leo blinked as he listened to what was going on, he chuckled before he followed after his friend, knowing what he was going to do. He waved at Shu before he caught up to the two males that had left before him, thinking for a few minutes. "Andy, relax she is just a little out of it today." he said to him as he patted him on the back, taking the gun from him before handing him his gun, he figured that if it back fired that he could at least well protect his little brother. "Sure, the more the merrier though you better stay quiet and behind us okay?" he said to link as he reached a hand out and ruffled his hair, chuckling, he figured that since Andrew was going along then someone to clean the game might as wellgo along with them.

Gemini 05-21-2012 06:43 AM

Rosemary cautiously made her way forward and took a seat, again as far away from the others as possible."well, I came over from the kingdom with the settlers.I've been here- in the settlement, I mean- for a long time, and the forest...it always called to me.I was always too scared to go in.but today, I guess the call was extra strong because I just stood up from my garden and walked in, without my shoes or anything.I never liked wearing shoes." She paused for a second, trying to regain her train of thought."oh, right.well anyways, I was walking along and I felt this...I dunno, land, I guess, of boredom and discontent, and it wasn't mine.I've always had empathy...but this time it felt different.it wasn't human, exactly, but it wasn't animal, either.and I could tell it was female.so I walked towards the source of it and I found that guard and the princess here, and I realized that what I felt came from her.then all this weird stuff happened and here I am." She said.she hadn't taken a sip from her cup yet.her mother always told her to never eat or drink Fae food, or it would cast a spell on you.

Triquetra 05-21-2012 04:58 PM

Avery sighed. Knowing she needed to learn to be more persistent and even aggressive. Her nature just would not allow it. He had told her to build a garden in the past, she knew, but Avery was not as good with plants as she was with children and animals. She was good, but not good at everything. WIth a busy schedule, she always somehow forgets that plants need water. Which you would think would be second nature for a fairy of life. She was still young after all, for fae terms. And always learning. That was when she asked Alfgeir, but that did not go over very well. "Alright, I can't ask you to leave your post... I'll just go home then and rest." Avery reluctantly said after a couple of seconds. She definitely was not a fighter. In fact she tried to avoid confrontation when at all possible.

"I am sorry for bothering you, Blake." She apologized, "You have such a large burden on your shoulders, and we fae take it for granted. I can ask Kaigen if he has anything I can borrow." She thought for a moment, before reaching out and taking Blake's hand. Setting her basket in it. "I have a lunch in here, I would hate for it to go to waste. I'll return for my basket later, or you can bring it by to my place if I get pulled away." She said, taking a step back and smiling at the guardian.

-------

Alfgeir's eyes beamed as Isadora grew interested in getting the baby quails out of his feilds. "Okay, bye Syn." He said as the poison girl went after her grandfather. He had to wonder if the man was crazy himself. But then again Alfgeir knew better than to have those thoughts about his elders. His attentions turned back to the young girl in front of him. "They are right with way." Alfgeir turned, muttering to himself, "yes... my plan is being set into motion.. and soon those baby birds will stop eating my berries." When Isadora said something he merely flew up into the air. "Come on Isadora!" He cheered.

Alfgeir led the small girl to the nest of baby bird. He pushed back the strawberry bush and reveal the baby quails, chirping away... and eating his berries.

finx15 05-21-2012 07:02 PM

"You felt drawn to me." Finx said in wonderment. "I've never talked to a changling so soon after they come from the human world. Whats it like? Do you not eat the somethings we do?" she asked gesturing to her cup and the snacks. "It won't poision you and those silly stories aren't true most people who eat are stuff are fay from the begining and the just don't go back to the humans once there home."

Kilia 05-22-2012 12:57 AM

"Avery......" Blake said to her as he frowned a little bit before he smiled, squeezing her hand and not letting it go as he thought about something. "I know this is hard for you.....how about if you stay near the gate and pick your herbs. I am sure some have been growing around near here." he said to her as he folded the handle basket back into her hand as he pulled her onto the other side of the gate and motioned around him, what he believed the plants were at though he knew some plants were. For some reason he felt bad when he couldn't help Avery out, he knew that she was a soft and kind person so it wasn't always easy one her just like things weren't always easy on him. "Just promise to stay close enough that i can still tell you are here and can protect you, alright?" he said to her as he squeezed her hand again, letting it go before he leaned against the gate after he closed it with darkness once more. "But i do want you to take time off just to get some rest, no matter what? you will be no good to the mothers while you are tired." he said to her as he adjusted the blind fold on his face.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Isadora was very excited which was clearly by her fluttering wings as she tugged on his hand once more, squeaking in surprise before she slowly started to fly after him, clinging to his hand since she still wasn't that good at flying since she walked every where. "Ah Alfgeir....i can't go that fast." she said to him as she sounded like she was whining a bit, trying to keep up with him as she flew as fast as she could. She was worn out as she landed on the ground at the strawberry bush, trying to catch her breathe before she smiled at seeing the baby quails. "Awwww...they are beautiful." she whispered as she took a hand, grabbing a sunflower off her dress and making a little bed like swing out of it to hold them in before carefully picked them up and placed them in it. "Oh Alfgeir.....daddy says that ummm well ah......he he said that if you made a garden for herbs and such that the quails and other animals could stay there to protect your plants." she said to him as she smiled, nuzzling the little birds before tucking them away.

Gemini 05-22-2012 02:59 AM

Rosemary blinked."ok, ok, just let me think..." she said.after a moment, she started again."ok, I don't know if I eat the same things as you, because I don't know what Fae eat.I've never met one before today.and I guess if you're the princess, it's only natural that I was drawn to you.as for what it's like to be a changeling...well I don't know yet.among the humans I was always an outcast...my hair color is something they don't see often.my eyes, too.and the fact that I live alone...and it's really hard to hide my empathy, so alot of them know about it and avoid me...but there are nice people, too.ones who feel at home near the trees.my parents- my human parents, that is- they were against hurting the forest or anything in it." She explained, torn between disliking people and wanting to protect the good ones.

finx15 05-23-2012 01:47 AM

"Oh we know...well I know that there are good humans." Finx said then leaned so no one would hear her. "I like to sneak away when blakes not on guard and watch the humans." she leaned back a smile on her face then it faded. "it's the evil ones that we need to be carefull of there killing the woods." no one knew it but it was killing the queen, king and herself as well they could feel the pain the trees felt.

Gemini 05-23-2012 02:04 AM

Rosemary frowned a little."I hate it that they're killing trees.I...I feel it, you know.I can feel the trees pain, I feel them die, and it hurts me.I never knew until we got here that my empathy worked on plants, too, but it does." She said, pain flashing through her eyes.

finx15 05-23-2012 06:55 PM

"You can feel them?" Finx asked shock clear in her voice.

Triquetra 05-23-2012 07:37 PM

Avery smiled as he led her to the gate. Allowing her to go outside quickly to gather what she needed. "Thank you Blake. I will be quick, and promise not to go to far." Avery said to the male. She squeezed his hand back and took a few steps forward. Allowing the gate to close behind her. She took a quick look around. Something did in fact feel off about the forest. She would need to be quick. Very quick in fact. Avery took a look around, finding a small patch of the herbs she would need. She made her way over to them, staying within the shadows to make sure Blake would be able to see her.

She knelt down, pulling the herbs carefully from the ground and putting them into the basket. While she did so, she thought a bit. Thinking a bit of time off would be good for her. But in order to really take time off, she would need to leave the village for a few days. Mothers had a knack for completely forgetting about the time. Sending their poor husbands out in the AM to fetch Avery from slumber. Most of the time it was over a silly baby kick. Or they wanted something that would settle their unborn child down for the night. Which then Avery would explain, it was something they had to deal with. Just part of the process.

------

Alfgeir thought a moment about what she had said. Quills eat bugs.. and his strawberries. But only the bottom ones.. But they did eat bugs. Along with other animals who could help his farm. He would need to plant more crops for the fae people for the winter. To make up for the loss the animals would eat. And herbs? He grew spices, but most medical herbs would pollute the other plants. Something in their roots. Maybe if he spoke to the kind about the matter, and was able to get some more land.

"It is a wonderful idea.." Alfgeir said. He looked over his fields. He probably had about fifty acres to care for year round. And a quarter of it was out of use for the time being. "Thank you Isadora! I will need to see the king of coarse." most of the food went to the Royal family. Since they could store most of it with no problem.

------

Victier began trotting threw the town. There had been rumors of a human entering the village. It had alerted the king, and therefore the guard was sent out. He was large, towering over most of the fae by at least a foot. Victier was very burly, handsome, and a total catch for the woman in town. Most of them had even forgotten about his lack of wings. But that small fact seemed to not matter as much when you were the head guard of the town. He heard Kaigen was keeping the girl, and thats where he would investigate first.

Victier came up to the door, sighing slightly as he leaned down and knocked. Standing straight his head was cut off when the door would be answered. He waited, looking around. He saw the front gate to the city open and close again. Did someone just leave?! priority first.. Human. By his side was a sword. It was very large itself, standing about five feet from tip to tip.

Kilia 05-23-2012 11:09 PM

Isadora cooed to the little quails, petting their heads before picking some bugs up, squishing them before she feed them to the little things, she was very excited to be able to help with the animals. "Do you need the sun light adjusted?" she asked him as she pushed a sunbeam out of her face, sneaking a berry off the bush, taking a bite out of it before feeding some pieces of it to the babies. "Oh your welcome....I just...well daddy was a bit concerned about Avery going out into the woods with the humans about and such and because she ummm needs sleep in stuff. He doesn't want her to get hurt but you know daddy. He only brings up such things with you know the person he is concerned about." she said to him as she smiled up at him, before she stood up, looking around to see where she could place them so they wouldn't harm the feilds anymore then they already have.

Clairette had been busy with making sure the castle gardens were being maintained when she heard some rumors about a human entering the kingdom. The fae paused as she let go of the watering can, placing it on a nearby bench. A human? What the heck was Blake doing that he'd let a Human in? Maybe he got hurt. Or.. Maybe it was a changeling. Her eyes brightened at the thought. Someone new to see.

Not losing time, her wings took her up in the air and out of the castle gardens, headed out toward the gates. If anyone knew, it'd probably be the guy who first encountered the human. On the way there, she noticed her brother heading the same direction, from the town. A small frown at the thought of having to see him so early appeared on her features. Rolling her eyes, Clair rubbed her forehead as she stalled. If he went there, he'd more than likely try to get her to do something for him. Mainly some chore that he'd not wanted to do.

That reminded her of something... She had to check out how the crops were doing on Alfgeirs farm. Might as well do that now. Maybe he would know what was going on.

With that thought in mind, she changed her course toward the farm. This way, it'd get rid of two things at the same time. To her surprise, she finally found him with Isadora, by the strawberry patch. Landing on the ground a few feet away from them, the woman smirked, raising an eyebrow at them. "Adopting baby animals now?"

Alfgeir sighed as she mentioned Avery. She had come to him plenty of times to ask if he could maintain the herbs she needed in his garden. And every time, it came down to no. He simply needed more farmland. Which many of the fairies in town were willing to buy his food, and even ask him for more and more each year. With new babies being born going up and up, it added to the amount of food he needed to produce. It seemed like such an easy job, when in reality it involved too much planning, a lot of timing, a lot of charts, math, remembering he could only ever use seventy-five percent of his land each year. Sometimes less depending on the natural nutrition in the soil. Herbs were a different category. Plus Alfgeir was worried because Avery was not the only fairy to come an ask for him to grow plants and herbs.

Poison fairies would come also. And that would be an auto-matic no. He was worried that if he said yes to one person, they all would be ticked with him. But if he could get royal orders, and extra land from the king, then maybe. "Yes, I understand that. Its does go beyond just helping out and doing favors. This is a busy time for all of us. Its Spring after all. But I believe-" He noticed her looking in a particular direction. Towards his house in fact. Another idea popped into his mind. At the same time Clairette came flying up. "Shhhh Woman! Can't you see I'm planning!" He said, scratching his chin. He was only slightly joking around.

"I got it! I will build a small fence, or even a green house. Yes! A greenhouse. Inside the plants will not effect the outside, and they will grow even nicer inside there. And faster. Isadora! You are brilliant!... Now, I will need glass.. and wood.. And probably someone who knows how to build a greenhouse." He stopped turning to see Clairette. Another gardener, but she was more flowers and pretty things.

"Clairette, when did you get here?" All he heard before was a female voice, he had no idea whom the voice even belonged to.

Avery took a peek within her basket, seeing she had all she needed. At least for a week or so. Depending on the intensity and duration of the labors. She should have collected more, but she refused to keep Blake any longer. Plus, hopefully the threat level would have gone down by then. Avery started to head back towards the gone. She was maybe gone for about twenty minutes or so. She walked up to the gate, "Blake! I am ready to come in." Avery called, just then she heard a growling behind her. A shiver ran threw her spine as she turned. An animal she had never scene before was standing there. To us, it would be a common dog, but to a fae, the massive beast was just that.

Isadora looked sad as she hummed to the baby birds, she stopped and looked up to see Clairette flying towards them, smiling even more as she waved, sadly bending the sunlight every which way as she did so. "Hello sissy Claire." she said to the girl as she giggled at what Alfgeir said, looking between the two, sure she had a crush on the male but she had a guess that Clairette would be the one to end up with him after all they were both so very similar power wise. "Ah...Avery is out towards daddy and and Alfgeir said i can take care of the babies." she said excitedly as she tried to stay calm, showing the baby quails to her that were in the sunflower purse, luckily they had fallen a sleep. "Umm.....ah......" she said confusedly as she looked up at Alfgeir, you could say that she was confused, confused on how she was brilliant considering she was just telling him what her dad said who was the Guardian of the kingdom which it was in his right to be concerned about every person in their home. "How was i brilliant?" she finally managed to ask as she showed her confused look to both Clairette and Alfgeir. "Hey you never told me if i need to change the sunlight for you." she said as she pouted a bit.

Blake stood at the gate, his arms crossed as he leaned against the wooden ivy covered gates as he sensed where Avery was at, he could tell that Kai was coming towards them, he didn't say anything. He then smiled and went to open the gate to let Avery in when she told him she was done, he froze for a brief moment before he threw the gate open, making it extremely dark as he moved to where she was at, basically shoving her with in the gate. He pulled his dagger out his waist band, beginning to fight the creature, once he had killed, it he let the darkness fade, revealing that the dog had bit him and he was injured slightly from the fight. "Avery.......are you alright?" he said to her out of slight breathe, still moving around and acting as if he was not hurt in the least bit.
