"Good god, I remember finals were murder on my schedule," Iris agreed readily. She agreed less readily to the next statement. "Are you sure? I can come with you." Although she wasn't sure if she wanted to or not. Going back home didn't seem like a bad idea.

Anna waved her off. "Go ahead, I'm just going to pick up some Italian food. I'll only be a few minutes. Why don't you go get comfortable and put that damn thing somewhere safe?"

Iris hesitated a moment longer, then nodded.

"Alright," she said. "Meet you at home, then." With that, she turned and headed back towards their house, making sure the Apple was tucked away out of sight.

Anna did stop and pick up food. But she also picked up a few other things, and tucked those in the pocket of her sweatshirt before she headed back.

"I'm back with food," she called, leaving the food on the kitchen counter as she made her way upstairs to change into more comfortable clothes. She slipped the three pregnancy tests on the counter in Iris's bathroom while she was up there.

"Alright," Iris called from her room. She was changing into something comfortable at the moment. When she went into her bathroom, she saw the tests on the counter and bit her lip a little. She made a mental note to buy Anna some good Swiss chocolate in return, and opened one of the tests.

Three tests later, she made her way downstairs to the kitchen.

"They're all positive," she said quietly to Anna.

Anna was quiet for a minute. "Well damn." Because there was really no better way to say it. She sighed and rubbed the bridge of her nose, trying to think. "Well, at least there's the two of us rather than you on your own."

"I can't ask you to do that," Iris replied quietly, going over to the table. She sat down, and promptly put her head on her arms and started crying. It was just too much to handle at the moment.

Anna went over and rubbed her shoulders, trying to comfort her, at least some. She knew it wouldn't be the same, not having the father there, but she'd be damned if she let Iris do this all on her own.

It took Iris a while to calm down again, and she looked at Anna.

"What are we going to do?" she asked. "We still need to try to find the rest of the Order, and bully the Apple into submission..."

"One thing at a time," Anna said. "We have to see if the Order still exists, first. Since I haven't come across much of anything that looks like our work in the US, at least. And the Apple we can just keep working on."

"I doubt anything will come up if we put 'Brotherhood of Assassins' into Google," Iris joked softly. "We may need to get creative."

"Yeah." Anna shook her head. "I don't know. I mean, the Apple took us back there for a reason. Maybe we're supposed to build up the Brotherhood again."

Iris was quiet for a moment.

"Maybe we should take a trip to Italy," she said. "Poke around Venice. There has to be something left."

"Yeah." Anna smiled a little at the thought of Venice. "We can go take a look, at least. See what we can find." Because there had to be something left. There just had to be.

Iris nodded, and reached for a bread stick to nibble on. She wasn't really hungry, but she needed something anyways, if for nothing else than for the baby.

"It may take a few weeks to properly plan a trip out there," she said.

"It's okay. We've got time." Anna watched her for a few minutes before she reached for something to nibble on as well. "Well, for now we can just relax."

"Yeah..." Iris said quietly. She sighed softly. "Do you think he'd be pleased?" She looked at Anna.

Anna was quiet for a few moments. "Honestly? I can't say for sure. But it's obvious that he cares for you a great deal." Anna smiled a little. "I'm sure if he wasn't pleased initially, he'd warm to the idea quickly."

Iris was quiet for a moment, and then nodded.

"I suppose we'll find out, if we ever get to see them again," she said.

"Yeah. We'll find a way, don't worry." Anna smiled and patted her shoulder. "Between the two of us, we can bully the Apple into almost anything." Hopefully.

"I hope so," Iris replied. She was quiet for a few minutes, nibbling on the bread. "You know, I was thinking, before all of... this. We were both considering getting another tattoo, right?"

"Yup." Anna blinked and looked over at her. "I'll probably get a couple more. Why? What did you have in mind?"

"What about the Order insignia?" Iris suggested. "Just in black, not very big, but somewhere we can cover it or show it as needed."

"I like that idea." Anna grinned briefly. "Cool. When do you want to go get that done?" Because she could draw the insignia by heart now, and it just fit somehow.

"Whenever you like," Iris replied. "And I'm thinking sooner is better than later, now." She would leave it to Anna to draw the insignia; she trusted Anna's drawing skills more.
