Ezio nodded and stepped aside so she could leave the room.

"After you, then," he said, gesturing to the stairs.

Anna carried the bags downstairs, tempted to drop one on Altair. But she didn't.

"Alright, I grabbed everything, so we should be ready to go whenever you feel like bullying it into complacency again."

Iris looked over when they came down the stairs, and nodded.

"Alright," she said. Getting up, she picked up the Apple again.

Anna held onto the bags in one hand, and slipped her other into Ezio's. Altair stood close to Iris, staying quiet and letting her deal with the stubborn thing.

It took a bit more arguing with the Apple, but Iris managed to make it send them to Italy. Once it did deposit them on an empty street, though, it went dark again. Clearly, it wasn't going to help them again for a while.

Ezio managed to land on his feet, and kept an arm around Anna to keep her upright as well. As soon as they landed, so to speak, he relaxed a bit. The place looked different, yes, but it was still Italy.

Iris, on the other hand, looked a bit pale when they got there. She tried to fight off a wave of nausea and failed, ending up bent over a trash can as her stomach emptied itself.

Anna looked around. Yeah, definitely Italy. She recognized the tyle of buildings and streets. Except this time around there was electricity too. Yay!

Altair stood behind Iris, rubbing her back gently and waiting it out. Bodily fluids didn't bother him, so he didn't mind. Besides, it was partially his fault.

Ezio would definitely need to get up on top of a building to see where exactly they were, but for now, just being in Italy made him feel a bit better. He put an arm around Anna's waist as they waited for the other two.

Once Iris finished the last few dry-heaves, she spit the last of it into the trash can and stood up again.

"Thanks," she said softly to Altair, leaning against him a little bit for a moment. "I think I'm alright now."

Anna glanced over at the other two before she grinned briefly at Ezio and slipped off to go climb up a building. That way she could at least find a decent hotel or something.

Altair nodded but didn't release her yet, keeping his arm around her. "I recall that is normal," he said quietly. Masyaf had been a village as well as the Assassin's headquarters, so he'd seen his share of pregnant women. He just hadn't really cared about any of them at the time.

Ezio went with Anna to see where they were. She was right about one thing, at least, buildings where she lived were much harder to climb than the ones in Italy. After those, being back in Italy was downright easy.

"It is," Iris replied, staying close to him. "Though it might be partially from the Apple as well as the morning sickness." Because the Apple had not been all that pleased about being ordered around.

"Well, there's a place to stay," Anna said quietly, making note of the place. "Wow, it really hasn't changed a ton. I bet we could find Leonardo's workshop still, or your old hideout."

Altair nodded. "I would imagine," he said mildly. He'd never tried to tell the Apple what to do, he'd just gotten information from it. "What are you planning to do now that we're here?"

"I'm sure we could," Ezio replied. It would definitely be interesting, to say the least.

"Try to find anything that can point us in the direction of the Order," Iris replied. She slid her hand into his gently. "It's as good a place as any to start looking."

"Come on. We should get down and head over to the others. We can figure out where we're going once we've got a place to stay."

Altair nodded, holding her hand gently. "And once you've found them?"

Ezio nodded and grinned.

"Race you to the bottom, then," he said, swinging over the edge and climbing down.

"I'm not sure," Iris replied. "First we want to know if they're even out there."

Anna grinned briefly and slid half-way down the building, catching herself just long enough on window ledges and handholds to keep from free-falling down the building. The first time she'd done that had been an accident, but she liked this method a lot more than climbing down.

Altair nodded. That made sense. He snorted at the antics of the other two, pulling Iris closer and muttering to himself in Arabic.

Ezio grinned and dropped the last eight feet or so. A fall like that wouldn't hurt, he knew. When he saw the other two, he grinned more and looked at Anna.

"Look at the lovebirds," he said, tilting his head towards them.

Iris just cuddled closer to him.

"What are you grumbling about?" she asked softly.

Anna snickered. "Aww, they're so sweet," she said with a grin.

"Just reminding myself that I'm not allowed to hit any vital organs," Altair muttered, a throwing knife sliding into his free hand.

"And he has a weapon now." Anna promptly moved behind Ezio.

"Throw that knife and you're not sharing my bed for the foreseeable future," Iris said, reaching for his wrist. "Just ignore them, they do it to annoy you."

Altair sighed. "I wouldn't have killed either of them," he said, tucking the dagger away again. "And if they do it to annoy me then I will throw knives at them in retaliation."

"No," Iris replied. Leaning up, she gave him a kiss. "Later on tonight, just you and me, we'll go find a way for you to work off the irritation."

Altair smirked faintly at that. "That would be an acceptable substitute," he murmured, kissing her again.

"I thought so," Iris murmured back between kisses.

Ezio looked behind him to Anna.

"I don't believe he's going to use you for impromptu target practice," he said.

"Not at the moment, anyway." Anna shrugged and moved out from behind him, starting to walk towards the hotel. "Although we might have to get them a pair of lovebirds so they match."

Altair twitched, just a little, before tuning her out and focusing on Iris again.

Ezio snorted and walked with her.

"I'm sure we can find some," he agreed. He was sure that, even now, one could find anything in Venice if they looked hard enough.

Iris just rolled her eyes at the two and leaned against Altair for a moment.

"We may as well follow them," she said softly. "If they found a hotel, I want to relax for a bit. Maybe even nap if we have time."

Anna grinned at that and went into the hotel, getting two rooms for the two pairs. Hey, she didn't want to share Ezio.

Altair nodded and kept his arm around her, following the other two into the hotel. But he didn't relax until they were up in the room and he had inspected it. Because he was paranoid.

Ezio inspected the room he was sharing with Anna, as well, although he wasn't quite as paranoid at Altair was. Once he'd deemed the room safe, he sat on the bed.

Iris could tell how paranoid Altair was. He hadn't even let her into the room before he'd given it a sweep for potential dangers.

"I can look after myself, you know," she said as she settled on the bed and slipped her shoes off.
