When I was on Gaia years ago, I met this girl and we became really good friends, and found out she lived in NC [this was prior to me moving here] and we wanted to meet up one day when I moved. Well, it never happened, but I still remember the city she said she lived in and I wonder if she's still there. Her account(s) got banned and she never bothered to recontact me after that so....yeah.

But I met my best friend through Gaia. Haven't met her yet in the 8 years I've known her but one day. One day.

I just don't see the point in meeting up with someone that I met online, other then maybe to game.
Now granted, there are a few exceptions I've made to friends I've known for around 5 years on League of Legends that I just recently met up with...but that's different. We'd play and talk together almost every day for hours so they became like family to me.

Any casual person, no. I wont meet up with them unless they're either 5 minutes away from me or we happen to be going to the same con. That's usually about it. But my bestie is someone I want to meet very badly but she lives 16 hours away from me and our schedules never match up to arrange anything. Which is sad, but it'll make the day even more special. uwu

I am part of a few other forums, one being specifically for BJD's, and I have gone to meet ups through there before, or on the facebook group. Idk why it's different but it just is. Maybe because it's about one specific thing than some broad "hey we live near each other lolz" type of thing. >_<;
