Folks, if you're going to ping people it's nice to include some sort of greeting or something explaining what you want. These random pings are spammy. My mailbox is filling up with these things yo.

I use subscriptions as well. Unfortunately, when I try to get to them on my phone, I unsubscribe a lot because I tap the wrong link when I try to get to the thread, and then I have to go and find the thread manually and subscribe again. It's gotten really bad over the past few days.

And thanks for the compliment, but I'm a little rusty. You make wonderful avatars all the time. Don't doubt yourself. I'm glad you want to participate though. It will be fun to have new users in the mix who want to participate. Gives it a little more variety.

Yeah, as weird as it sounds, I don't think I've talked to you in YEARS. In fact, just the other day, I was thinking about you and some of the other people I meet over at Nox, wondering how you all were doing... I don't really have the same amount of time as I used to to be on the computer, since I'm in college and interning now, but of COURSE I'll stay and chat with you, Ari. :)

Project mene is just like the User Pick avatar contest.
Except you get critique on your outfits and your layering, to help you or reassure you that you made a good outfit.

Though, I think it's better explained to someone more familiar in being apart of it since I'm not. xD

@dessertdesiert: It's pretty much what Miro described: An elimination type avatar contest where each round contestants are to create an avatar based on certain requirements that Seiki sets. And all of the requirements will tie in with the round's theme. :3

Err....ok, actually Project Mene is really not like Users Pick, and I don't mean that to sound mean lols.

Basically Project Mene is an elimination based Avatar contest. People Apply to be part of the competition and seiki picks both the contestants and the judges.

The contestants participate each week by making an avatar that fits that weeks task which is assigned by seiki. The judges then go and critique the avatars based on both the attention to the task and also to cohesiveness to the overall appeal.

Think of it like Project Runway. A group of users compete in a series weekly contests where one user is eliminated each week until the final round where the top three contestants compete in one last challenge to see who the winner is.
