I had to judge yours last because it was just too creepy staring at the medical specimen while trying to critique your entry. A lot of good has come out of science and medical testing. It's just unfortunate that we had to see things like this to figure out how to prevent them from happening again. All I can think of is a still born, deformed baby while looking at that picture. I don't know if that's what it is per se, but it's hard. I think your translation of the specimen into avatar form is quite creative. Your background and foreground layering do a lot to complement the test tube/jar effect in the reference picture, and though your character is a bit more defined than the one in the picture, it's translatable and I can tell what you were going for. I think you made the white choice for this round by going with something that was more colorful than your normal style. It shows a lot of good diversity and I quite enjoyed it.
