thanks hummy! im starting to think i just might need luck to get through this round. the entries are just so creative. im really enjoying this challenge. its pushing even myself to be more creative. my entry for this is way outside of my usual outfits and i really like it.

So I got a new Macbook today to replace my old one. The display on this one is going to revolutionize the way I make my avatars. Or at least it will to me because the colors will look more vibrant xD

yup.
On the plus side it'll save paper (so they say, pretty sure they'll still be printing stuff out like crazy) and you'll only ever have to get one per student. (again they're hopeful) And say that in the long run it'll cost parents less. They also said that they'll have a rental program for less fortunate kids. But the way those programs work normally end up being more than just getting one for yourself. Not sure how I feel about the whole auto spelling thing. Actually I hate it. Also...if a bully sees you have a better machine than they do then I'm not sure how the'll keep from forceful switching. It opens up a lot of bad things, but it has a few positives too. It's only a possibility for a few schools so far but if it works at them they might try and bring it to others too. |
It has some pros.....but I still feel the cons outweigh the pros. But that is just me.

I agree, I mean if the kid has home work and they're bringing the thing home all the time it kinda makes them a target.
Also copy/pasting makes a sudden and very easy way to do home work...not really teaching them to remember stuff. |

There will be a new one soon enough. Well if all goes well with Judging that is. :) I've been using other contests to fill the gap in between. It hasn't been to bad for me though I've had a busy week and other things to worry about. Like My daughter going back to school soon and my grandfather passing away.
