Tatsuo shook his head. "Nope, not at all. Just as long as it's not super cheesy." He smiled and rested his hand on her leg. not the one that was hurt, but the other one. He gently rubbed it mindlessly with his thumb.

Love giggled softly as he rubbed his thumb on her leg. "Tattoo that tickles" She laid her head back and closed her eyes and thought to herself 'this is how it should be. Things are never this easy with Cody and he never wants to just sit and watch a movie with me. Hes always trying to get my attention and never shuts up.'

"Hey tattoo. Have you ever made a mistake that you do not know how to fix?" She sighed and laid her head on the arm of the couch with her eyes closed

Tatsuo paused for a moment. "... Yeah. But i learned to deal with it. I had to, or else i couldn't forgive myself and fix the problem. The best thing you can do is be honest with yourself. Never EVER fool yourself, or even try to. even if it's a small thing. it's never worth it. Believe me."

A few years back, Tatsuo was dating this girl, and fooled himself to believe that he loved her. But then he came to realize that after high school, it wouldn't work out. And besides, he loved someone else, someone whose name is the very word. He loved Love. And there was nothing he could do about it except fool himself into thinking that he didn't, and then come back and realize that he still did. Often times, he thought back to high school and when he broke up with the girl. Her name was Harmony. Harmony was a really sweet girl who was always happy and nice. Until Tatsuo broke up with her. then she became a royal high on herself bitch to him. He didn't blame her. He broke up with her right before graduation, actually, the day before. He appologized several times, a few in person, getting slapped each time, until he finally gave up. Harmony and tatsuo never talked again.

Love blushed slightly and blinked back tears. She had a feeling she was making a mistake with Cody. What Tatsuo did not know is that Cody was very jealous and had a really bad temper. If he were to see her with Tatsuo like this, even though he was just trying to help, He would have a fit. Just as she thought this there was a knock on her back door.

"Hey babe, Where you at?" He called through the now open door as he let himself in. "I figured you would be done with the house work by now and we could go out to dinner together." Cody walked into the living room and saw Tatsuo and Love together on the couch. "Yoshi. What happened to her? Is she okay? Shouldn't she be going to see a doctor?" He knelt down next to her and stroked her hair.

Tatsuo looked over at cody as he entered the room. "She fell down the stairs, and if she's feeling better at all then probably not. However we should get some heat on that ankle. You know, switching between hot and cold helps it get better faster if it's just a sprain. However, if it's not feeling better, I'll take her to the hospital or a primary health or something. Her insurance doesn't cover hospital visits unless it's after the business hours of other places."

He then looked at love. "Can you let me up so i can go get you a warm compress? You still have that rice bag thing right? the one with the fabric encasing the rice that you heat up in the microwave?"

Love slowly lifted her legs up wincing slightly as her ankle moved. "Its in my room on top of my dresser. Its the pink one. I put a new cover on it."

Once he stood up she carefully put her legs back down and reached over to pause the movie. "While your up there could you get the Tylenol? Just bring the bottle down, im gonna need it."

She looked over at cody. "Babe could you bring me some Iced tea? Its in the fridge. Oh. And could you add some sugar to it?" She smiled at him and kissed his cheek.

Cody nodded at her. "Of course baby any thing for you." He quickly got up and headed toward her kitchen

Tatsuo got up and went up to Love's room, found the rice bag, got the tylenol from Love's bathroom and went back downstairs to the kitchen to heat it up in the microwave. He put it in for 30 seconds, knowing that the dried rice would heat up quickly and be warm enough to help. While he was in there, he saw Cody fixing the iced tea.

Cody was stirring the sugar into the iced tea like Love had asked. He knew just how much sugar to add to it. "Hey Yoshi. Thanks for looking out for her. But next time just come get me ill take care of her. She is MY girlfriend after all. I think i can handle a sprained ankle." Cody then smiled and walked out toward the living room with Loves tea. "Here ya go love. Be careful not to spill." He smiled and planted a kiss on the top of her head.

"Thanks babe." She carefully moved herself into a sitting position so that her back was leaning up against arm of the couch

"Hey tattoo. You okay in there big guy?"

Tatsuo was officially irritated. Love was HIS best friend. He had all rights to taking care of love. But if that's how Cody felt then Tatsuo would stay out of it. "yeah just making sure that your rice thing was warm enough and not too warm." he went into the living room and took the ice off of loves ankle and placed the rice bag in its place. " you know, I have a few things I need to do in these next couple of days, maybe Cody can look after you? I'm going to go home in a little bit since he's here now to take care of you."

Love winced as the rice pillow touched her skin. "But tattoo. I was hoping we could spend some time together this week, And i didn't ask cody because he has to work. But i guess that is okay. I will just call another friend over while he is at work." She looked down at her lap. "You know guys i am kind of tired maybe you should both leave so i can take a nap." She moved back down to a laying position and rolled carefully onto her side.

Cody was surprised by how sad Love seemed to be by Tatsuo's statement. He could feel himself becoming jealous of tatsuo. He couldn't seem to understand why she was so close to this guy he had nothing on her. "Okay babe ill check back in on you in an hour okay?" He stood up. "Ill talk to you later." He walked out the back door leaving tatsuo and Love alone to say goodbye.

Love sighed softly. "Bye Tatsuo."

Tatsuo's face showed no emotion. "See you, Love. I'll come over when i can." He got up, went upstairs to grab his swimming trunks and left, leaving through the front door, making sure he had his phone. He paused at her front step and texted her. "Do you need to go to the doctor?" He then started walking towards his house as he figured that she would need to go, so he needed to get his car. Wait. No. He'd tell her to call her boyfriend and tell him that she needed to go to the doctor.

Love looked at her phone as he texted her. "No... Feeling much better. I am going to go upstairs and take a nap." She sat up and carefully stood to her feet, crying as she did so. She did not care how much her ankle hurt her heart hurt more. She whispered to herself "I thought he cared more than that." She shrugged and with determination limped into the kitchen to put her iced tea away then carefully limped to the stairs and stared up at them. She sighed softly

Tatsuo texted back. "Okay, sorry about not being able to stay. it's just you've got Cody right next door and he should be able to help you when he's home, and someone else should be able to help you while he's not. I have a few things to do anyways. Sorry." he had paused to text and be able to see his phone, but when he was done he resumed walking. Once he got home a moment later he went to his room and shut the door. He put his trunks away and layed on his bed. "Why can't i do anything right?" He asked himself before getting up and going out to the garage, grabbing his gloves on the way and putting them on. once he got to the garage, he starting laying it out on his punching bag. He could probably knock the Shit out of Cody if he really wanted to, but he knew it was illegal unless he was defending himself. He was glad that he had his phone camera on every time he was around any guy that Love was dating. She tended to date total Jerks that got jealous easily.

Love sighed as she got his text. She replied back quickly. "That's fine. I was just really hoping to hang out like we used to. But whatever. Ill talk to you later bye." She quickly turned her phone off and stared up the stairs. "I am never going to get up these by myself." She whispered to herself.

Love then decided that she should grab something to eat first. She was planning on ordering pizza for her and Tatsuo but she knew that was not going to be happening tonight. She decided to go make herself a sandwich. She took her time and limped carefully over toward the kitchen.

"UGH! I HATE THIS!!!" He was glad no one was home at the moment. He was really taking it out on his punching bag. " i wish i was brave enough to do something. to tell her that her boyfriend is the reason i'm not there right now. I'm going to call the cops and have them send someone to check out love's ankle." He caught his punching bag, took off his gloves, and called the cops.

"Hello? yeah, my friend fell down the stairs about thirty minutes ago and injured her ankle... Because we were icing it and putting heat on it and elevating it... Look, i'm calling because i had to leave and she could be trying to walk on it and i don't know how severe it is. The ankle was black and blue and purple when i left, though the swelling had gone down a little... Her address is _____... okay, thank you."

He then texted Love. "Someone's coming over to check on your ankle. I don't trust it. They say that you can walk on a broken bone and not even know it for the longest time. So i called the cops to have them send a paramedic to your house. Expect them within 5 to 15 minutes."

Loves phone was turned off and in her pocket. She sat on the couch quietly eating her dinner and watching the movie her and tatsuo were watching she could barely feel the pain in her ankle and was sure that it was just fine that it would just be swollen for a while from the fall. She had wrapped her ankle in an ACE bandage and was elevating it on the couch with a pillow under it. There was a knock on the door and she carefully stood to answer it. She peeked around the door and was greeted by paramedics. "Oh that is just great."

"Excuse me ma'am but we had a phone call. Can we check out your ankle?" Asked the paramedics when Love answered the door. They stood there holding a red and white bag. The paramedic waited for her response, and if she said no, they would insist.

"Yeah sure i guess. It does not hurt now though. Not as much as it did before though." She walked toward the couch and sat down "come on in." She settled herself on the couch and unwrapped her ankle

The paramedics came inside, and took a look at her ankle. "We aren't exactly doctors, but we've seen enough sprains and broken bones to know that this is really serious. Can I?" Said the second paramedic, the one who hadn't spoken yet. She was referring to moving Love's ankle around and feeling it. "It might hurt."

She nodded her approval and lifted shifted so he could get to her ankle. "Yeah go ahead. im tough i can handle it. I just really hope its not broken"

" yeah, well sometimes, when it starts feeling better, it ccan still be broken." Said the first paramedic. The woman paramedic, the second one, moved to the foot of the couch and slowly moved Love's ankle. "Let me know if this hurts too terribly." She kept moving the ankle/foot around carefully, watching Love's facial expressions, watching her face for the pain level.

Love winced as the pulled her foot down but other than that nothing felt any worse then trying to walk on it. "None of it feels to bad. But when you pull my foot down it hurts the worst. She watched as the paramedics talked about her and prayed her ankle was not broken

"Well we aren't doctors, but it doesn't feel broken. It's probably just a really bad sprain and bad bruising." The paramendics wrapped Love's foot up again and shook her hand. "You were right to wrap it, and put ice and heat on it. Keep in touch with your doctor, and be sure to take care of it."

"Thanks i will." She then turned her phone back on and texted Tatsuo. "DID YOU DO THIS?" moments later she got his text. "That boy is giving me whiplash. Does he care or not?" She sighed and went back to eating her sandwich. She picked up her phone and texted cody. Hopefully he would come over and keep her company.

Tatsuo texted her back, glad that she was a little upset. "Isn't it clear? I told you that they were coming, didn't i?" He sat down and took a deep breath.

Cody knocked on the front door as he came in. "Hey beautiful. what was with the paramedics?" he asked, curious. He had thought that she was doing just fine.
