Valefar finished getting dressed and walked out of his room. When he reached Vixen, he saw his parents there and then looked at Vixen before walking away from her and walking to his parents. He knew that if his father knew what had just happened, Vixen wouldn't live to even witness a wedding. The king looked over at Vixen sighed mentally. "You never told me your mother was Vivian. Just because she's a friend of my wife's, I'll go easy on you....but I still don't want you near my son." he explained and kissed Usha's cheek. "If you'll all excuse me. I have some things that I need to get done." he explained before leaving to his study. Usha smiled and stroke her son's messy hair. "You're hair is messy dear, you need to look more presentable. Valefar blushed and looked down at his feet. "S-sorry mother...I just woke up is all." he lied.

Vixen listened to the king and wished that she had known sooner... it would have saved her from a few scars on her neck. She then blushed when she heard Valefar and Nixy snickered some having a feeling she knew why her sister was blushing. She wished that the king would lighten up enough to see that Valefar didn't want to marry Setsudan though she had a feeling that he wouldn't.

Valefar glanced over at Vixen and blushed a dark red before looking back down. "E-excuse me..." he muttered and left to the kitchen to get some water. Usha raised an eyebrow and looked over at Vivian. "Well tell me friend, how are you liking it here?" she asked softly, dragging her to sit with her out in the garden. Valefar grabbed his water and sat at the dinner table and just stared at his water blankly.

"Well it's wonderful to be back... I just wish that Vixen could express herself without fear... The whole time I've watched Vixen interact with others this is the first time I've seen her go completely silent. Isn't there any way that we can help them?" Vivian asked Usha softly and worriedly really just wanting to help the two young lovers.

Usha thought for a bit and sighed. "I will talk to Cresil...but I don't think there is anything I can do at this point Vivian." she started and frowned. "I'll tell you what he says though, I promise." she said softly. Valefar felt a little sick suddenly but didn't make too much of it and rubbed his eyes suddenly tired. He glanced at his glass of water with was still untouched and sighed. Burying his face in his arms, Valefar closed his eyes and fell to sleep at the table.

Vivian nodded before they just started to casually chatter while Nixy walked out into the garden alone as Vixen went to the dining room. She looked at Valefar worriedly and walked up to him touching his shoulder softly. "Are you okay love?" she whispered just in case Cresil was close not wanting him to get her in trouble. She was worried about Valefar... they only had about six days before the horrible wedding day... hopefully there was something they could do to stop it before then though.

Valefar only shook his head and kept his face buried in his arms. He felt weird...he wasn't sure if he was getting sick or not though. "I...I'm fine..." he lied and leaned into her touch. I shouldn't lie to her...but I don't want to worry her. What if I'm heating up with a fever? What if I'm pale? What if I'm cold to the touch? Ugh...I don't even want to imagine what would happen. he thought to himself. Truth was...he was getting a little sick, but it wasn't anything serious.

"Valefar I think you need to go back and lay down... you're really warm and your face looks pale." Vixen said softly and worriedly not wanting him to make himself sicker by refusing to rest... maybe they shouldn't have stayed up all night.... She sighed and shook her head at the thought before looking back at Valefar worriedly. "You know now that I think about it you didn't cool down after we got up this morning...." she said quietly before shaking her head. "Come on you need rest." she urged softly as she tugged his hand lightly.

Valeefar groaned in pain and peaked up at her. "I...I'm f-fine..." he whispered and slowly stood up, his tail dragging limply behind him. He allowed her to hold his hand and just stood there, staring blankly at at the floor. She had a point though, he didn't really cool down after what happened. He just got up and came here. "I should have...cooled down...then." he said and stared at his hand in her's. "Sorry..." he whispered and felt bad for getting her worried.

"oh no don't worry about it love. Come on let's get you back to bed and I'll have the cooks make you something light, whatever you want just tell me" Vixen said with a smile as she helped him to his room and into bed. "Do you want an ice pack? Or some water? Or your window open?" she said softly before kissing Valefar's forehead softly.

Lying in bed, Valefar listened to her while tracing the tattoo on his arm and shook his head when she finished. "I left some water at the table...but I don't think I'll drink it. It's probably warm." he said quietly. "I don't want anyone to know that I'm probably sick. It will cause unnecessary panic." he explained softly.

"Okay I won't tell anyone you're sick, I'll have mother help me make you some soup.... and I'll bring you a glass of cold water too." Vixen said softly with a smile before nuzzling his cheek softly and kissing it lightly. "Does that sound good to you? Or are you not hungry at all?" she asked softly as she looked to the door thinking she heard someone but then ignored it.

Valefar nodded and gave her a weak smile. "That sounds fine love. I haven't eaten all day...and I don't think I ate yesterday either..." he admitted. "Oh, and thank-you for keeping my sickness just between you and me." he added softly. With the wedding only a few days away, he couldn't afford to worry anyone, especially not his or Setsudan's parents.

"Don't worry love." Vixen smiled before kissing his cheek softly then left and shut his door before going and getting her mother to help her. She knew all of Valefar's favorite foods and even his favorite soup but she just couldn't make it alone... she couldn't taste it because she couldn't stomach it... but her mother could. It took them a little bit but before too long Vixen was back upstairs with a covered bowel on a tray, water, juju berries, and some toast with juju jelly on it and crackers in case he wanted them in his soup. "Here ya go love." she smiled easily as she sat the tray down on his lap and uncovered the soup for him.

Valefar looked at all the food she brought back and chuckled. "Love...I thought you were only going to bring me soup and water." he started and looked at her. "Instead, you brought me the entire kitchen." he teased. Valefar smiled as he put the crackers in his soup and looked at her. "I really do feel like a prince when I'm around you love. I love you." he whispered and sipped his water before he started to eat quietly.

"Well Mom suggested that you might like some Juju berries or toast with Juju berry jelly." Vixen said with a light blush before kissing Valefar's cheek softly. "Do you need anything else? I want to go check and see how much damage has been done to the library." she asked softly then frowned a bit since she knew they were the only two that really cared about keeping the library in tact.

"Thank your mother for me. It was really kind of her to suggest that." he said and frowned. "Yes, go check on the library and quickly tell me how bad it is okay love?" he said and stroke her cheek softly. "Please be careful though, I don't want anything bad to happen to you." he commented and smiled. "I'll be fine. I'll wait for you right here while I eat." he assured.

"Okay and I'll straighten thing up before I come back in here." Vixen smiled before kissing Valefar's cheek and heading off to the library. Just as she suspected no one knew how to orgenize the books or clean them right so she quickly straightened and cleaned everything up with a heavy sigh.

Valefar continued eating quietly and thought he heard someone walking down the hall. He quickly stopped what he was doing, the footsteps faded, but it couldn't be his father since his father was downstairs working in his study...and he said he'd go easy on her. Relaxing slightly, he went back to eating his food and smiled. "Vixen...you're too good to me...sometimes I really do think you deserve someone better than me.." he said quietly.

Before long Vixen was done and was soon heading back to Valefar's room with a satisfied smile and heavy sigh. It had been awhile since she had gotten to clean and reorganize a library.

The king was upstairs and passed Valefar's room before stopping and knocking on his door. "Valefar?" he said. Valefar froze and didn't move, he didn't even breathe and hoped his father would think he was sleeping. "Valefar, are you in here?" said his father softly. He needed to get to his own room to get a few papers but wanted to see his son since he hadn't really seen him much today and was starting to worry.

Vixen paused as she saw the king and took a deep breath before walking up to him. "I'm sorry sir I think the prince is sleeping." she said softly hoping that the king bought her lie and didn't realize she was lying since she had gotten better about hiding when she wasn't telling the full truth.

The king looked at Vixen and then at the time. "Sleeping at this hour?" he repeated and looked at the door. "Well then I'll let him sleep. I need to get back to work...excuse me." he said and frowned before leaving to his own room to get his papers then left back to his study. Hearing Vixen lie, Valefar chuckled softly and relaxed as he ate his toast with jelly.

Vixen sighed heavily once the king was out of hearing rang and grinned as she walked into Valefar's room and couldn't help but laugh a little as she closed the door behind her. "I can't believe he believed me." she laughed a little before going and sitting on the edge of Valefar's bed with a bright smile.

Valefar looked at her and nodded. "Me either, let's not jinx it though." he said and drank some water. "How was the library?" he asked and looked at her. "Organized? Where the books and shelves cleaned? Where the books in their proper place?" he asked happily.
