Valefar looked at her and smirked. "Hello there love." he said and pointed to the tray with the tea and cookies. "I hope you like the surprise. I wanted to surprise you and Setta suggested Herbal cookies and tea. The problem is I don't know how to bake. I've never made anything for myself before you know...so Vivian made them...but I helped sort of." he explained.

"Oh Valefar you're so sweet." Vixen smiled before moving a bit to sit up and took the cup of tea and took a long soothing drink of it. "Mind sitting with me?" She smiled softly as she grabbed on of the cookies and started snacking on it.

"No I'm not. Your mother told me the same thing love." he said as he stood up and sat beside her as he presented her the rose he had left beside her. "Here you are love, a lovely rose for a lovely lady." he said and smiled before kissing her cheek softly.

"Valefar you really need to stop saying that... you're a really nice guy... why can't you just accept a complement from the woman that loves you at least?" Vixen said with a pout and you could tell it actually did upset her since he would never accept that he was a good guy. She then smiled when he handed her the rose and kissed his cheek lovingly.

Valefar blinked and sighed. "I'm not used to it. I grew up never once being complimented...not that I can remember anyway." he started and looked at her. "I see no point in being complimented now. I'm so used to not getting them, that getting them just seems odd to me." he explained.

"But why do you always deny it? and pretty much refuse to even let anyone say it... I mean you complement me can't I compliment you?" Vixen said softly before eating another cookie and leaned against Valefar softly and lovingly.

"I'm sure angels are used to being complimented....and I want to compliment you." he started before holding her softly. "I compliment you because I want to..." he insisted and smiled. "I don't mind compliments...it's just going to take some getting used to."

"well... actually I never was... I was scorned and hated for being different." Vixen said softly before sighing some. She then finished her cup of tea and ate a few more cookies before just curling up to Valefar's side and nuzzled him lovingly.

"Well I'll compliment you all the time love. You're beautiful and I love you Vixen, and just because you're different doesn't mean you're terrible." he explained and kissed her softly. "Different is good." he whispered while holding her lovingly in his arms.

"Just know that the same goes for you Valefar." Vixen said softly and lovingly before yawning a bit and cuddling him a bit more but just seemed really tired right now.

((Maybe they should tell everyone that she's pregnant? Maybe then Valefar's father can accept the marriage? What do you think?))
"Vixen love...you've been very tired recently. Maybe you should just sleep... I'll be okay." he commented and kissed her forehead. "Please get better soon..." he whispered honestly. You could tell he loved her and was worried about her as he wrapped his arms around her waist lovingly. |
(Maybe he gets mad at first but then he comes around to the idea? OOH!!! IDEA!!! What if something happens and Vixen either goes into labor or passes out and the only one around is his father? That would be really interesting XD )
"I'm sorry Valefar... I don't know why I'm so tired..." Vixen said softly before yawning again and just curling to him as she closed her eyes and just listened to his heart beating letting it sooth and relax her as she was close to falling asleep. |

"It could be because of the baby?" he whispered and ran his nails through her hair soothingly. "Rest Vixen, it's okay I don't mind. I just want you to get better." he assured and pulled the blanket closer around her to keep her warm. |
"Or because of the other day..." Vixen said softly before yawning again then leaned up and kissed Valefar softly and lovingly on the lips. She then curled up to him and was soon fast asleep holding to his shirt softly with one hand and the other was draped across him clearly not wanting him to leave her.

"Shhh..." he soothed and kissed Vixen back softly before letting her sleep. Looking at her, he smiled and admired her beauty. "I'll stay right here love...I'll never leave you. I love you so much Vixen and I never want to lose you." he whispered before yawning and closing his eyes to get some sleep as well.

A month had passed since Valefar and Vixen found out she was pregnant. In all that time, they had never told anybody, mostly because Valefar didn't want anyone to know, he didn't want to expose Vixen or the child to any danger. He sat up in bed, tired but he couldn't really sleep so he decided to stay up and read a book while watching over Vixen. |
During the past month Vixen hadn't really gotten to much better, she couldn't stand for very long without feeling dizzy and it was growing increasingly hard for her to eat and keep anything down. Today she hadn't been up at all yet, she was extremely tired and just not feeling well at all. Slowly she awoke with a yawn and turned to wrap her arms around Valefar's waste and looked up at him with a bright smile that she always seemed to have when she woke up to him.

Valefar yawned and rubbed his eyes as he set the book down and looked at her. "Hello love, how are you feeling?" he asked worriedly. Vixen hadn't showed much, if any improvement this past month and it was starting to scare him really. To relax himself, he always told himself it was normal...it was due to the baby and that was all. Yet, no matter how much he told himself this...he still worried about her very much.

"I'm okay... I think I'm actually hungry." Vixen said with a smile knowing that that would make Valefar happy since she was hadly ever hungry right now. She knew he was worried about her... she was worried too, but there wasn't much to be done right now. For a half demon, half tainted child it was rather normal for the mother to be very weak while carrying the child, even if the mother was perfectly healthy.

Hearing her say she was hungry made Valefar smile. "You are?" he asked and fixed her hair. "Well then Vixen, what would you like to eat?" he asked her. "I'll bring the food to you since I don't want you moving around, you need to just stay here." he added as he crawled out of bed and yawned slightly. At least one of us was able to get some sleep. he thought to himself as he began to think of foods she would want to eat.

"Can we go to breakfast instead? I don't feel light headed right now I think I can walk." Vixen said softly and you could tell she missed being up and about... she was used to helping in the house and socializing with the maids and everyone else... this was bothering her something awful not being able to socialize with her family and his mother.

Valefar frowned when he heard her and sighed. "If you think you can....well okay then let's go." he said and opened the door before motioning for her to follow him and walked down the stairs. He didn't mind eating breakfast in the room with Vixen, it was actually nice. However, if she wanted to eat at the table then she would eat at the table. I just hope she doesn't pass out at the table. he thought to himself as he entered the dining room and took a seat at his usual spot.

Vixen stayed close to Valefar as they walked and soon sat down next to him right away catching Setta, Nixy, Vivian, Lillia, and Hikari's attention. "It's been quite a bit since I've seen you up Vixen, i'm glad." Vivian smiled and the others nodded easily. "What's been going on?" Nixy asked and Vixen was really unsure if they should tell the others yet or not.

Usha smiled when she saw Vixen. "It's nice to see you again Vixen." she said softly before going silent when Cresil walked into the room and took a seat next to Usha. Valefar looked at his parents before dropping his gaze to the food that was served. Charlie arrived and sat down in his usual spot near Valefar and stared at the food blankly before cooing softly. Listening to Vivian, Valefar sighed mentally and glanced at Vixen. "Go ahead and tell them if you want." he said quietly before starting to eat. "Charlie use your knife and fork..." he ordered and smirked when Charlie did as he was told. "Good boy."
