Valefar chuckled at what she said and nodded. "You're right love." he said and looked over at Charlie and Setta. "Okay you two, need to get some sleep. Today's been a long day and we all need to rest." he started and looked at Charlie. "It's okay Charlie, you both can see little Mela tomorrow." he assured and smiled. "Now get some sleep you two." he ordered and watched as the two nodded and left to sleep. Looking at the sleeping Mela, he carefully took her into his arms and sat down beside Vixen. Mela looked peaceful and happy as she slept...just like Vixen when she slept.

Vixen smiled as she Watched Valefar with Mela and kissed his cheek lovingly. Mela yawned and lightly wrapped her tiny fingers in his shirt giving a soft coo in her sleep. "I know you're going to be a great father Valefar." Vixen sift softly as she hugged his shoulders lightly and kissed him softly on the cheek again.

Valefar looked down at Mela and gently stroke her tiny hand with his finger. Listening to Vixen he shrugged. "I know that I am going to try to be a good father. I don't want to end up being like my own. I just...don't know exactly what to do. I never really had a father to look up to." he explained and looked at Vixen. "I know you'll be a great mother Vixen. I love you so much." he whispered and nuzzled her cheek before kissing her lovingly.

"Just... love her as much as you love me, be there for her." Vixen said softly with a loving smile before kissing Valefar back lovingly.

Valefar kissed her a bit more before pulling away and nodding. "I'll do my best love, I promise." he whispered as he looked down at Mela and smiled softly. "Little Mela..." he whispered and sighed softly as he watched her sleep in his arms.

"You're already a wonderful dad if you ask me." Vixen whispered as she kissed Valefar's cheek softly and lovingly before watching Mela yawn cutely before just staying close to Valefar. A little bit longer of silence passed before a soft knock came to the door and Vixen slowly got up and made her way over to the door. There stood Sinz and Souls smiling brightly before they both hugged her and then stepped back for a moment. "We found her guardian." Souls smiled easily before they both stepped to one side revealing a small purple skinned girl with long blue and black fox ears along with a long blue and white tail.

Valefar yawned and continued to cradle Mela in his arms. He was tired to and decided to close his eyes to rest, after all...it had been a very long day it seemed. Opening his eyes when he heard a knock on the door, he groaned rather annoyed and glared over at everyone who was at the door. "So...your the new...guardian thing?" he muttered tiredly before looking at Vixen sadly and yawning loudly.

"I'm sorry he's tired... we can talk tomorrow if you guys don't mind." Vixen smiled and the three nodded before leaving. Vixen then walked over to Valefar and kissed him softly before taking Mela who had woken up a bit and gave a soft whine. Vixen smirked before she decided it was about time to feed her anyway and sat on the other side of the bed so she didn't bother Valefar knowing he would probably want to go to sleep.

Valefar looked down at Mela and sighed. "I'm sorry Mela, you're just like me, hate being woken up when you're sleeping huh?" he said and let Vixen take her away. "Goodnight..." he muttered tiredly. "Before I go to bed though..." he started and looked at Vixen and kissed her neck softly. "Love you..." he whispered before turning away from her and Mela, then fell to sleep rather quickly.

Vixen smiled when Valefar kissed her cheek and softly lulled Mela to sleep and laid her in her crib after she was done feeding her before changing into some night clothes and crawling in next to Valefar. She yawned softly before wrapping her arms around him lovingly and falling alseep.

Valefar slept peacefully with Vixen by his side. His dreams consisted of many things, Eofe, Vixen, Charlie...Mela. It was all a blur though, but he could occasionally see them. He felt the happiest when Eofe could be seen, her white bonnet, purple dress with the white apron, brown shoes and purple eyes. He let out a soft sigh, but then frowned when she vanished.

Early the next morning Vixen awoke with a yawn as she heard Mela starting to stir quietly and headed to the kitchen fixing some formula for her before heading back to the room and picked her up easily and fed her. It wasn't even day light outside yet so she was being as quiet as she could and would go back to bed once Mela went back to sleep.

Valefar had an arm dangling out of bed as he continued to sleep silently. "Come back...mom..." he muttered in his sleep with a slight frown. Eofe hadn't returned; his dreams were filled with Charlie, Vixen and Mela now. At least Mela and Vixen were still here...and Charlie was still here...he was always here, ever since Valefar was little when he had found him outside.

Vixen smiled as she draped her arm over Valefar then yawned softly and fell back to sleep easily. She was still tired and needed rest from the days before... but she was still very happy as it was.

When morning came, Valefar stirred a little and opened his eyes. He noticed Mela was still sleeping and closed his eyes once again, falling back to sleep; happy that no one was disturbing him right now.

After awhile longer Vixen yawned and slowly got up and checked on Mela before stretching and going to take a shower then got dressed and headed to the kitchen again. She checked to see if breakfast was ready before heading back to Valefar's room and softly picked up Mela who was starting to whine softly She picked her up and easily started to feed her as she sat down on her side of the bed and just relaxed.

Valefar felt movement beside him and knew that Vixen was probably awake now. Opening his eyes, Valefar looked over at Vixen and kissed her cheek. "Good Morning. What time is it?" he asked and yawned softly as he sat up in bed and stretched out.

"I think it's about ten." Vixen said softly as she finished feeding Mela and softly wiped her mouth and burped her gently. "Breakfast seemed like it was ready, oh and do you want to actually meet Mela's guardian in a little bit?" she asked softly as she kissed Valefar lightly on the lips then smiled and looked down at Mela as she cooed and reached out towards Valefar cutely.

"Too early..." he muttered and kissed her back lightly before rubbing his eyes and listening to her. "Meet the new one? Well I guess I can say hello..." he said and shrugged. "I don't know why I have to meet her but okay then." he commented quietly and looked over at Mela. "Morning Mela." he said and carefully carried her in his arms. "How is my little princess doing this morning?" he asked and smirked.

"Well you don't have to but she probably will be helping take care of Mela when she's older." Vixen said softly then smiled as she heard Mela giggle and coo at Valefar as he took her and reached up at him happily.

"Right...well like I said, I'll just say hello to her I suppose." he replied and cradled Mela closely. "No, don't reach up Mela you'll end up poking eyes or something." he said and gently took her little hands in his. "Well then, should we go to breakfast?" he asked Vixen. "Or better yet, should we have breakfast up here?" he asked her curiously.

"We can do either I don't mind." Vixen smiled as she watched Mela coo and hold onto Valefar's hand that seeming to be what she had wanted all along.

"Well I don't think you should be moving around at all right now. You need to rest." he explained and handed Mela over to Vixen. "Here, I'm going to go get us some breakfast. What should I bring for Mela?" he asked as he walked to the door to leave, but waited for her to answer.

"I've already fed Mela... she should only have milk for awhile." Vixen said softly and really wanted to eat with everyone else but didn't feel like arguing the fact with Valefar... if he thought she needed more rest she would rest.

"Oh, well okay then. I will be back in a bit." he said and was quickly out of there as he walked downstairs to the dinning room. "Vixen and I won't be eating here...I said she needs to rest and that's what she'll do. I just came to pick up our breakfast." he explained. Usha smiled and nodded before ordering a maid to set up their breakfast in a tray for Valefar to take upstairs. "How is she feeling?" asked Usha. "Well she seems to be doing fine, but I still want her to rest." he answered. "That's good dear, and Mela?" she asked. "Mela's doing fine too. Really happy it seems..and smiles a lot too." he answered before taking the tray and heading back upstairs with the food.
