Vixen pinched the bridge of her nose a bit and shook her head with her eyes closed. "No it's not... not at all.... I just don't like it when his tail starts to go exploring up my leg or under my shirt while we're around others." she sighed slightly trying not to blush or get irritated at the fact that he kept misunderstanding her.

"VALEFAR!" gasped Eofe. "Hey, it's not my fault that she's beautiful and that I love her. See...if I show affection it's bad, but if I don't, it's bad because then I apparently become distant." Valefar explained and frowned. "I just don't know what to do anymore because I end up loosing no matter what I do." he said quietly.

Vixen put her face in her hand before sighing slightly and trying not to laugh some. "you can hold me close, put your tail around my waist and things like that but when you do more you're tempting something that should only be tempted while we're alone..." she said still with a slight blush. |

"Communication...that's the key you two." started Eofe. "If you have great communication skills, this problem wouldn't happen. If there is something either of you don't understand, don't be afraid to tell the other person okay?" she instructed. Valefar blinked before nodding at what Eofe said. "Okay then, I promise to do as you said Eofe." he whispered and smiled as he brushed some hair from her face. |
Vixen smiled and nodded since she normally did tell Valefar everything but he sometimes seemed not to want to tell her everything. "Oh Valefar, I think Cresil is getting suspicious, he came in while I was making the soup and tea for Eofe but I'm not sure if he saw that I had made enough for two or not' Vixen said since she knew Valefar would probably want to know.

Valefar looked at Vixen and shook his head. "No worries love. If my father was suspicious...he'd be at the door already and walk right in." he explained and smiled. "It was nice of you to make her some soup and tea though love, thank-you." he added and looked at the door before looking at Eofe. "No one will see you, I'll just keep the door locked as always. I'm the only one with the key but I'll give it to Vixen since she will be taking care of you." he explained softly. Eofe nodded, "That sounds like a good plan to me." she whispered and yawned softly. "Get some sleep mother..." he whispered and kissed her forehead before stroking her hair softly. "Vixen will check on you every now and then." he assured. Eofe nodded in approval and closed her eyes as she tried to sleep.

Vixen smiled and gave Eofe a hug before she gathered the empty cups and kettle. "I'll bring you in a glass of water in a few minutes then I'll let you sleep okay?" Vixen smiled kindly before leaving and taking the dishes to the kitchen and cleaning them. She then got a glass of water and brought it back to Eofe's room before turning off the lights and pulling the shades so Eofe could get so sleep.

Valefar was back in his room staring over at music notes and sighed. "I'll practice later..." he muttered to himself as he lay face down in bed, tired and wondering what he would do now. I can't have anyone know Eofe is here though...not yet anyway. he thought to himself.

Once Vixen was sure that Eofe would be okay for awhile she stepped out of the room and locked the door before heading to hers and Valefar's room. She smiled as she entered and crawled into bed next to him wrapping her arms around him and kissing his neck tenderly.

Valefar stirred and looked at Vixen before shooting her a smile and cuddling closer to her. "I love you..." he whispered and stroke her cheek softly with the tips of his fingernails. He turned to face her, and wrapped his arms around her waist, just enjoying being close to her.

"I love you too." Vixen smiled before kissing Valefar softly and lovingly on the lips as she ran her fingers gently through his hair before wrapping her arms around his neck lovingly.

Valefar was surprised at this but he didn't complain and kissed her back softly. He sighed happily when he felt her fingers run through his hair, causing chills to run up along his spine as his arms pulled her closer to him.

Vixen smiled as she kissed him back before slowly pulling away and nuzzling his neck lovingly. "I love you so much Valefar." she smiled happily up to him.

"I know, my love. I love you so much too...you make me so happy and I am so thankful to have you in my life." he kissed her lips gently before nuzzling her cheek and holding her close. "I'll always be here with you...to protect you, and to love you...and to just make you the happiest person in the entire world." he added in a soft whisper.

Vixen smiled brightly and berried her face in his neck lovingly as she heard him then slowly let out a soft yawn and cuddled closely to him.

"Seems like my love is tired." he noted and pulled the covers over them both. "Get some sleep love, I'll be right here to keep you safe and to keep the nightmares away." he whispered lovingly as he ran his fingers through her hair soothingly, letting her go to sleep.

Vixen smiled softly before she yawned once more and soon fell fast asleep in Valefar's arms seeming really tired after the long day they had had.

Valefar watched her sleep and gently kissed her soft cheek. "I love you...I love you so much." he whispered. "If..if anything were to happen to you I don't know what I'd do." he whispered sadly. He didn't even want to imagine loosing Vixen or Mela...or anyone else that he cared about.

Vixen smiled some in her sleep and just cuddled closer to Valefar lovingly and stayed fast asleep

Valefar watched her and smiled slightly closed his eyes as he happily snuggled with her and slowly began to fall to sleep. He didn't even think he was tired, but it wasn't long before he had fallen to sleep with her in his arms.

Later that night Vixen slowly squeezed out from under her lovers arms careful not to wake him as she quietly made her way to the kitchen where she quickly fixed a picture of ice water and grabbed a fresh glass before heading up to Eofe's room where she carefully unlocked the door and stepped in before shutting it... well she thought she had but had actually left it slightly cracked. She had made sure that no one was awake before she had made her way and smiled to Eofe as she approached the side table and switched the glasses and filled the one with the cold water. She was careful to be quiet in case Eofe wasn't wake though.

Cresil hadn't been able to sleep that well and carefully climbed out of bed as to not wake up Usha. Walking out of his room, he planned on walking to the kitchen to drink some warm milk but stopped halfway down the stairs when he heard movement in the kitchen. Who'd be awake at this hour? Was someone else having trouble sleeping? he thought to himself as he walked over to the kitchen and noticed no one was there. Peaking out into the hall, he saw Vixen disappear into Eofe's room and narrowed his eyes as he silently walked after her. Seeing that the door was slightly cracked open, Cresil gently opened it up and looked inside only to widen his eyes when he saw Eofe sleeping there.

Vixen smiled as she saw Eofe sleeping and noticed that she had seemed to have picked up a fever once more and gently dipped a rag in a bowl of cool water and placed it softly on her forehead before setting out a note along with a small bell and some cough-drops explaining that she was going to be going back to bed but would check on her in the morning unless she needed her and then instructed to just ring the bell and she would be in there in a few minutes after. She then made sure then everything was in reaching distance before picking up the warm glass of water. She turned about to leave only to be shocked as she saw Cresil and cursed herself under her breath before glancing back at Eofe. She then moved to the door quickly and made sure that Cresil was out of the way before she shut the door quietly. "E-evening Cresil, what are you doing up at this time?" she asked quietly and a bit nervously since she knew he had clearly seen Eofe back alive and sleeping in bed.

Seeing Vixen tend to Eofe, he remained silent so that he wouldn't wake her and glared at Vixen once the door was closed. "I should be asking you the same thing Vixen. Or better yet, why is Eofe sleeping in that bed again? I thought she was dead, we buried her so there is no reason as to why she should be back here." stated Cresil quietly before sighing. "If you must know, I couldn't sleep so I was coming down to the kitchen to drink some warm milk, then I saw you...which led to me seeing Eofe." he explained and shook his head. "What is she doing here?!" he hissed quietly. "How long has she been here and why haven't you told anyone?" he asked.

Vixen sighed softly and rubbed her head before looking at Cresil thinking some. "Can we talk about this away from her room? I don't want to wake her up... she needs as much sleep as she can get right now." she said softly and hoped that he didn't mind that since she really didn't want to take a chance on waking Eofe and her hearing them talking about her.
