"Well... I guess it doesn't make me want to cry... whenever I see you I just feel so happy... like I can't stop smiling." Mela explained then seemed to blush even more when he said she looked like a tomato. "Hey! That's mean." she blushed but smiled some clearly not offended.

"Well it makes me happy to know that I make you happy Mela. That's all I want...for you to be happy." he said and laughed. "I'm such a meanie aren't I? he said and hugged her happily. "I'm so lucky and happy to have met you Mela, I really mean that." he said and blushed as he looked at her.

Mela smiled and hugged Nero back easily and nuzzled him softly "I'm so glad I met you too Nero... I'm glad you wanted to be my friend." she said softly as she stayed close to him and you could tell she really loved him.

Nero blushed and held her there in his arms as his nails ran soothingly through her hair as he continued to use his foot to swing them slowly. "Well, why wouldn't I want to be your friend? You're so fun to be around...and you always find ways to make me feel like I really matter. I'm glad YOU wanted to be MY friend. Usually people stay away from me because of my piercings..." he explained quietly as he relaxed with her in his arms, not caring if anyone saw them.

"Well if you remember when we first met I think you only had one of two of those." Mela smiled and giggled some. "And besides, I think they're neat." she said easily with a smile on her lips.

"True...I only had two on my ear at the moment. I'm glad you find them neat though...your the first and the only person to say that to me." he said and smiled back at her happily. "I enjoy spending time with you...even if it's just sitting down doing nothing, it's nice to just relax...especially on such a nice day like today." commented Nero quietly.

"I like sitting outside and listening to the bird and the trees rustling... I may not be able to see them very well if at all but I can smell and hear them and it's nice and peaceful." Mela smiled softly as she leaned her head on his chest thinking about moving to sit in his lap but decided against it since she thought that might be going a little too far too fast.

"I know what you mean." he started and looked up at the clouds, noticing a bird fly from one tree to another and chirp happily. "Tell me, what's your favorite thing to listen to when you want to relax?" he asked her. "It can be in the day and at night." he added and blushed a bright red when he felt Mela rest her head on his chest. His arm wrapped around her and pulled her closer while his free hand continued to run through her hair soothingly.

"I love the sound of either a cat purring or Snow purring... I also love listening to the sound of a heartbeat." Mela said then blushed a little at the end since she had never told anyone that she liked listening to the sound of a heartbeat... it was just so soothing and made her feel safe... well so long as it wasn't her own that is.

"A heartbeat huh?" he repeated and smiled. "I think rain is really relaxing, I love listening to the rain...or leaves moving around in the wind. It's very relaxing...especially at nighttime." he explained and looked at Mela, "Can you hear my heartbeat? Is it...soothing?" he asked and blushed slightly at what he said.

Mela blushed brightly and laughed a little nervously before nodding some. "Yeah... I can hear your heartbeat it's very soothing..." she blushed a bit and looked down since it was true but it was very embarrassing to talk about.

Hearing her answer relaxed him, at least he knew his heart wasn't racing. "Well I'm happy to know that my heartbeat is soothing." he answered and looked at her. "Am I embarrassing you Mela?" he asked worriedly.

"No not at all... I've just... never told anyone about that before..." Mela blushed a little but really wished that she was brave enough to say what was really on her mind.... but she couldn't tell him that she loved him... he would probably think she was weird for saying that so suddenly.

"Oh I see, well you shouldn't be so embarrassed about that Mela. Heart beats can be pretty relaxing sometimes." he stated and chuckled. "Listening to someone breathe can be relaxing too...but it's a little scary too." he admitted and chuckled. Nero was someone who never showed fear in front of anyone...but when he was alone, and heard something scary then he would be very scared, but only if he was alone would he show his fear. When in the presence of someone else, he hid his fear in order to protect the other person if it was needed. Looking at Mela, he tilted his head to the side and frowned. "What else is on your mind Mela?" He asked softly.

Mela blushed even more as she heard Nera ask what else was wrong and looked up at him as she paused a bit. "I'm okay.... i-it's nothing really." mela blushed a bit more unsure of how to tell him how she really felt.

Nero nodded. "Well okay then, if you say so Mela." he answered and looked at the clouds moving slowly through the sky, just enjoying the quiet around them. He still wanted to get his bridge piercing and his tattoo re-inked, but he decided that could wait a bit.

After awhile Mela yawned feeling herself growing a bit tired but just wanted to stay cuddled close to Nero enjoying the quiet and the closeness more then anything right now.

Nero yawned quietly and rested his back against the rope of the swing and closed his eyes, drifting off with Mela in his arms. Valefar polished his Violin and bow before wondering what Mela and Nero where up to, they had been hanging out a lot since he had returned with her...that made him happy though, at least his little Mela was happy.

Vixen smiled as she chatted with Setta, Vivian and Nixy before finally getting up and looking around for Mela and Nero and checked outside only to smile and head up to hers and Valefar's room "Valefar you have to see this it's so sweet." she smiled knowing Valefar would think it was cute how the two were napping on the swing.

Valefar blinked and looked at Vixen before carefully setting down his things and stood up. "What must I see love?" he asked her slightly confused. Valefar wasn't busy or anything so he didn't mind being talked to at the moment. Noticing her smile, he raised an eyebrow and tilted his head. "Well that smile tells me it's something pretty big." he commented.

Vixen smiled brightly and took Valefar's hand leading him out of their room and shutting the door. "You just have to see it." she smiled before leading him out to the garden and to where they could see Mela and Nero without disturbing them.

"See what?" he asked and followed her silently down the stairs. When they reached the garden, he noticed what she was talking about and smirked. There they were, Nero with Mela in his arms...both of them napping on the swing. "Well isn't that just adorable?" Valefar whispered and watched them.

"I thought so... I'm really glad he's back you know? Mela is so much more happy with him around." Vixen smiled quietly as she watched Mela snuggle with Nero peacefully, unaware that her parents were watching.

Nero kept one arm around her waist gently while his other hand remained on the top of her head, in her hair gently as he continued to rest peacefully. "I agree, It's obvious that they both really like each other...and I'm happy to see our little Mela so happy with him." Valefar whispered.

(it's a swing like this so they won't fall off XD ) "Okay... why don't we let them sleep, the guards are keeping watch on the garden so they're safe." Vixen smiled though kinda wanted to go on a walk with Valefar since they hadn't for awhile. |
