RP Buddies Wanted! I have Candy! New Content!
Umm... So yeah, hi. *rubs back of head* I'm a bit shy, this is my first time on a site, but I have roleplayed for that last 3 years with various people. I am looking for RP partners. Sadly, I do not do fandom, it is not my cup of tea. I am pretty open about plot and ideas, so on. I am fine with romance, good with yaoi, a bit rusty with hetero, but I won't even try to attempt yuri again. I failed miserably. No romance is also okay with me. You will get posts from me daily, or several times a day even. For those that like to know, since I like to know too, it helps know around when to know someone will be on or so on. I am in the Central Time Zone, although I'm on almost all the time (seriously, I'm addicted to rping) so time is usually not an issue with me. Hope that helps!
I enjoy quite a wide range of things to play. I like fantasy, horror, steam-punk, mystery, and even those pesky undefined's. If the idea is dark or with any sort of hints of insanity, that would definitely peak my interest. Types of characters I find fun to play: assassins, royalty, vampires, demons (love demons), exorcists, hunters, shifters, thieves, in fact pretty much a lot of different characters. If I was to continue the list it would keep on going and going. Yes, sadly I am a special child like that with too much time on my hands. Rules: 1. Preferably literate: I am hoping that you can at least give me at a total "my brain is dead!" minimum of 200, please! I do not accept one liners. I know. To sum it up I am looking for around literate. I understand the grammar slip ups, spelling mistakes, and so on. I am fine as long as I can understand the message you are trying to get a cross to me. Trust me I make some too and would look like I was randomly pounding on the keyboard without spell check. I can also give 300 up to over 1000 if the circumstances allow! I can look past word count (for I know that it is not all). Content is Important. Read and do not skip over things that have all ready been stated. It has happened to me quite a bit, and it makes me want to rip my hair out. Please, if you forget what was stated in the post, read back over, skim even. Don't make it look as if you just disregarded it. I promise you that (most of the time) there is important information in those posts. Keep up the plot too! I have seen some complain about having to single handedly having to juggle a plot and know what it feels like, so contribution is fun, remember that! A Roleplay is a big boiling pot that we are dumping random food/idea items into. The more the merrier! 2. Let me know you are alive! Be active: I am hoping you are at least active to post to me maybe 2 times a week at the very least (would even accept one). I just want to know that you can post to me eventually. I understand people have lives. If you are going to be a way for a bit tell me. If you lose interest do not have me waiting, because I sadly check for posts... and when I have none I wonder what is happening. So please tell me if you want to stop, or so on. I do not appreciate waiting. While from me you will most likely get the post within the day, as I have stated, I could be shooting out post after post. For my life... well I sometimes feel like I live in a cave and get about as much sunlight. ~~~ Well, for those interested, there are some ideas that I have kinda been wanting. Here is a list, because I totally love them! It may actually grow later on, for I am special like that.Ideas and Wants~ 1. Insane Asylum with a twisted Wonderland twist: [TAKEN] 2. Virtues and Sins: [TAKEN] 3. Village of Secrets: Well for this one we take the idea of exorcists and demons, but the demons are enemies. The church hears rumors of a village with activity and sends their young exorcists to go check it out. (has nothing to do with the one above, but the set up for the church can be more for that one if you wish, it is fine with me either way) The get there thinking it will be a seemingly easy job. Almost no one will talk to them, for they are outsiders, and those who do end up having bad things happen to them and their families. It is a lot deeper than they originally thought. So what is happening in the village and can the exorcists save it or will they die, their corpses hidden away to join the other secrets held in the village? 4.Red Cap, Black Cap: Friends get together and jokingly break into an abandoned building in a town while they are on a road trip. They want to film ghosts and thought it would just be fun and laughs. They were wrong. They find a child's drawing of a wolf holding the hands of two rabbit girls with the words "Game Start" on it. It turns out they are playing a deadly game that follows the fairytale of Red Cap and Black Cap. To win the game they must stay alive and not come across Black Cap. Black Cap will kill you, while Red Cap wants to help you. The only problem is, you cannot tell which one is which until it is too late. The wolf, no one knows if he is good or bad, it all depends on if they can find out which version of the story to Believe. The drawings give them pieces of it, but the rest will have to be figured out a different way. Can they win the game? 5.Road to the Throne: The Lord of the Demon World has lived a long life. He has 7 wives and 12 children. Well, there is only 1 throne and the eldest is the one who will get the crown. That doesn’t matter to two brothers, who have banded together to take down their siblings and take the throne to themselves. Of course, there is always doubt, can they let go of their greed, selfishness, and even distrust of each other before it gets them killed? They need each other more than they believe. They have themselves, their most trusted servants, and newly growing powers to take the kingdom into their palms. Not only do they have their own siblings to deal with, but also the other 4 top families each of which is wanting to watch the fall of the Royalbloods. Will the Royalblood brothers’ dreams end in glory or with their spilled blood? 6.The Four Horsemen: Four people are kidnapped, they wake up and find themselves prisoners to kings of hell. Something is wrong, their powers are awakening and they find they are the four horsemen that can bring down the world and bring the chaos. They could find a way to escape the clutches of the demons and remain hunted, but what if that darkness takes over? Will they be the ones to save the world, or to bring upon its end? 7. Rich Guy/Poor Guy: Its a cute little story kind or thing. Cute is a choice word only here. I know it seems so out of place compared to the others. Still, I want to do this. I have a sort of an idea, and I have a character that I would like to use, dear Levi. Can fit into either spot too if that makes a difference. I want to have a romance one like this. I hope someone would be willing to accept! 8. Next to Us: Our world connects to two others, a hellish one that is filled with monsters, demons, and outcasts of the other. The other is made of four districts. D1 houses the poorest. It is a single main street block, yet if you go beyond it, there is a large city of the poor. Tents, and so on they use as housing, they just go on everyday trying to make their living.They look up to the oracle. D2 is a middle class place, simple, and naive to a lot of the under the table things. D3 is a transportation, warehouse, and hosts a huge outdoor market place, trade and transport are the main industry. D4, is where the rich live. All of the Districts are led by the leader of the top earning company. He is an inventor also, and experiments behind the scenes. Hell can only be accessed through our "Earth". Earth can be accessed by Hell or D1, but not by the other districts unless they go through D1. And D1 through D2 and earth, and so on respectively. Now to the plot. Hell has a momentary lapse and outcasts from the districts get through. The unfair judgement, or maybe they had a right to be there, go them to outcast to Hell. Now they are back to make their journey through the 'earth' and the districts to take down the main boss, who seems to have more experiments than he ever had told. They want their revenge, or maybe have other motives, but they also have the hellish creatures to look out for and the experiments and even people from the Districts to look out for. Will they ever set foot into D4 or be just a breath away from completing their goal? Pairings: demon/demon demon/human demon or icubus/priest (includes exorcist) Prince/Prince Prince/Bard Assassin/Prince Bandit/Prince Prince/Servant Protector/Prince Prince/Thief Pirate/Prince Pirate/Pirate Bandit/Bandit Honorable Warrior/Assassin Assassin/Assassin Assassin/target Assassin/Cop(FBI, etc) Vampire/Vampire Vampire/Fledgling Vampire/Hunter(Including Priest) Con Artist/Cop(FBI, etc.) Con Artist/Rival Thief/Thief Cop(FBI, etc.)/Thief Photographer/model Rich Kid/Poor Kid (Above~) *Please note that the pairs above, do not have to be romance! They can also just be the characters the plot is based around! I wouldn't mind doing a fantasy RP with you. If you love dark ideas, and demons, I have a bit of a plot to play around with! I'll try and summarize it, but I royally suck at doing so, and thus I apologize for my blabbering ahead of time. Summary: Withing the darkest parts of the world, places one may turn a blind eye to, there are small gatherings of people, humans, who believe in the devil's aid. They pray to him, sacrifice, built shrines and wear cloaks. They beg him to be summoned. What these people don't understand--although they've hoped for it for so long--is that all these techniques, all these chants, these bows and deaths of chickens and virgin women alike... it's all working. With each death, each dark deed done in the name of the god who lives beneath the earth's crust, the boundary that separates the devil (Satan, Lucifer, the name does not matter) and the humans on the above ground is slowly breaking. And the reason it's happening isn't because of thousands of years of worshiping him. It's because the devil has created a child designed to absorb all the evil within the human world and pump it into the barrier that contains everything below. This child has never talked, never seen, but has always been awake, using their (he or she, it depends) mind to learn and watch the world their creator lives in. And to do what s/he was meant to do. Free them. Now the plot is this. One such demon does not enjoy the idea that they will be on the earth's surface soon. He hates Human. He hates the devil. He hates being born where he was born, and he hates the fact everything is chosen for him. But above all, he hates knowing that as soon as they step foot on Human land, God will punish them all. So he kidnaps the child meant to destroy the barrier. He takes the girl/boy and through the weakening barrier, he throws the limp body, knowing they will make it across, because s/he was partially made FROM the barrier (broken shards collected over thousands of years). The only thing is, the demon doesn't realize the child is awake. And the child uses his/her powers (in fear and desperation) to drag the demon with them to the surface. And so they both land with the Humans. Very much different and in need of not only adapting, but hiding. It can be worked on, and you can choose who you'd like to be. I see you enjoy male/male the most? I wouldn't mind that! And romance is good with me, and I'm also good without it. It's up to you. But I warn you, these characters won't fall in "love" very quickly. I'm very picky about making relationships realistic in roleplays. So what do you say? Sorry for the obnoxious post... |
It was not obnoxious at all! I think that is amazing idea! *_* I would to roleplay that with you. Oh such hard choices! I think both roles are amazing. I do not care which ever I get. Well, I guess you can hand me over the child. I haven't gotten the chance to place a character like that in a bit, seems fun. If romance was to happen, I believe it would be best left to luck and if it would happen realistically.

I was thinking if you liked the idea of adding some sort of prophecy that has to do with your dear demon, that would add plot, they would have to work through that too. Maybe from a past oracle or something. *nods* What cha think?

You seem to be quite a good role-player, and your thread has caught my eye. :) My name is TheDesireMistress..well its not my name just a username but you can feel free to call me Desi, or Demi. :) Any who, I think we would make great partners.
I can post more then once in a day. Or more then three times in a day depending if I don't get writer's block. I can write on average of three to six or seven paragraphs. Or maybe just five large paragraphs. Usually my paragraphs have more then 3-5 sentences in them. I tend to loose count when I am on a roll with writing up a post for my partner. :rofl: Sometimes I do get writer's block so it might take me a day or two to make a post at times. But other then that, I can give my partner a post right away. :3 I don't like making posts smaller then three paragraphs. I can understand writer's block, but I rather let my partner take the day to think instead of having them rush to make a post. I'm patient so I can wait. :) For gender wise, I can play both genders evenly. I am usually not picky with my genders and roles, though it depends on the plot to what role and gender I'd like to play. For orientation I like to play hetero mostly. I am not saying I wont do m x m its just harder for me to do m x m compared to when I do hetero. Though if my partner wants to do m x m then I have no problem compromising. :) I have played mostly real life scenario characters, But I do like fantasy occasionally. I like to play wizards/witches, demons, angels/fallen's, shape shifters, vampires, werewolves, humans, Female delinquents[the type who fight mob bosses or gang leaders], drug users, single teenage parents, famous characters[like their a model or something], writers. That's all I can think of. So the prophecy, "a young demon destroys the barrier between the two worlds" could either be seen as good in the devil's favour, or terrible. A twist! |

I think it bothers me when plots are too simplistic, so when I make up my own I just load on as much realism as there possibly can be. Like one of those people who put extra toppings on a sandwich when everybody knows that's a huge dink move. Except... you can't eat roleplays. That is perfect! Oh, and just so you know fufufu~ Each of the virtues gets their own specialized weapon that goes with the virtue. The virtues have been trained as long as they have been at the church, and again specialized to it. The church is corrupt and these are their best weapons.

Well, as far as the demon world goes, I was thinking that Satan was growing tired of his children constantly giving him grief over what they want from him and everyone else, so he sends them up above to try and get the Earth as his own. the demon realm could be called the Sentient Oubliette, and the demons refer to the human's world as Upperground (though it is really known as Midstretch Landing), and maybe Heaven as like, "The Accursed Realm", while it's true name is something like Skyward Pinnacle. All of the names sort of go along with the thought that the realm of the demons is a dungeon, and to escape it and be human puts you on a safe landing on the flight of stairs to the pinnacle; the top, where everything is safe.
As far as the demons having powers and weapons, it's possible their powers coincide with their sin. Pride would have an uncanny speaking ability, Lust could easily con men and women alike into giving up secrets through sensual experiences, gluttony could control a man/woman and make them gather all their wealth/possessions for them, etc. Perhaps the demons work together to try and get all they want out of the humans... Even disguising themselves AS humans in order to get away with being in the realm. However, the church catches wind of it once some of the sins start to breech it in order to gain power and notoriety. That is when the virtues are called in? I dunno, I don't know the urban legend... |

For the powers, I can see the powers being centered around the sin. Like my Sloth (Sorrell) He keeps children slaves often to do his bidding and they can talk to him, but anyways that is a different type of magic, but his is pretty much he leaves his body to take to the shadows. From the shadows he fights, although it leaves the body vulnerable. He is known to never fight in his body. Thus Sloth, not doing it himself, if he can others will fight for him. The story pretty much goes that an experiment was done to contact God. They took a person and cut them off from all of their senses. He could not see, hear, feel, smell, or taste. So he was left all alone in his mind. It was believed that with no outside stimuli he would have a chance at speaking to God. Several days went by and the man said (he could speak, although he could not hear what he was saying) that he heard voices, and that his dead relatives had started talking to him. Soon he said the relatives of the scientists where talking to him. He told them things that were impossible for him to know. Some scientists left after that point. They continued on. He started to say that the voices got louder and there were hundreds of them, they never stopped talking, and he couldn't sleep. He started throwing himself against the wall, and bit off part of his own arm, just trying to feel something, just so that it would make them stop. It kept on, even when they sedated him. He then got quiet and for two weeks straight he just laid there and cried. Then he looked one scientist straight in the eye and told him, "God has abandoned us." After that he died with no apparent cause of death. That story would be perfect and ironic. I can see some of the priests pulling that experiment, with the last part witnessed by at least two of the virtues. It would be epic... *evil laugh* The Virtues roles in the church also are determined by their set virtue. Kindness (Trinity, ignore his girly name, it was a holy name and I liked it :XD) is a mercy killer. His weapon is a large Scythe and he will be sent to executions or even to take the sick or nonreligious out of their suffering. Even if he doesn't agree with it, he has to follow the orders of the church. Kinda like with Chasity, he is kept blindfolded, and when he enters a room no one is allowed to talk, it keeps him from becoming corrupted, he is also not allowed to kill, (of course he talks and will take off his blindfold whenever there are no priest around, but only around the other virtues). I'm sorry for that huge long thing :XD but yes, I just talk a lot. *rubs head* anyways we are throwing things into the boiling pot! :'D |
