"Oh wow." Sora laughed a little at that before smiling and heading over to the bleachers. "Then I'll be over here doing last periods homework." she told him as she went and sat on the bleachers pulling out her homework from the last period and started to work on it.

Ryūjin nodded as he went over to teacher. Luckily the teacher didn't give him a hard time. He wasn't going to question why and would just assume his father had done something. He grinned as he sat down next to Sora on the bleachers, "So what are you working on?" He asked curiously as he took out his own work.

"Last periods homework.... you know how allot of teachers won't give you work on the first day your there? Well I guess some of the teachers here don't care for that." Sora laughed a little since in that class they had just started a new section so it didn't really matter that she hadn't been there before.

Ryūjin chuckled, "Yeah the teachers here aren't the best..." He said, "Tons of homework to do over breaks too..." He said looking at her, "Still they shouldn't have given you work on the first day..."

"Oh wow that really sucks... but I guess that they just wanted to get me ahead... I don't know they probably thought I was really smart thanks to my grades from my old school." Sora shrugged a bit then continued working on her homework. "What are you working on?" she asked but continued to write.

"Uh...an essay for my Multi Psych...." He said showing her what he had written so far, "It's on prejudice for different races." He said a smile lighting up on his face as he began talking about it stopping almost immediately to clear his throat, "Uh not that you would care or anything..."

"Oh wow... that sounds kinda interesting... um... a bit complicated maybe but interesting all the same." Sora smiled some enjoying the fact that his face just lit up as he spoke and she could tell he was really interested in what he was doing.

Ryūjin blushed a bit oddly enough it caused his cheeks to turn a light shade of blue. "Right...it is...I'd love to make it my job one day...but I don't think it will happen..." he said frowning as he put the essay away staring at the kids who were busy swimming, giving a small sigh.

"Ryūjin? Are you okay? You're face just got kinda pale?" Sora asked softly not realizing that he was actually blushing.

"Huh?" He asked looking at her, "Oh pale? No I think it's just the lighting in here Sora...you know energy efficient lighing causes skin tones to appear weird or something..." He said shrugging as he looked.

"Hm... I guess you're right... one of them must be flickering or something." Sora said softly before going back to her work quietly though really didn't think that was the case... oh well she wouldn't bug him about it.

He frowned a bit as he turned back to his work. He would have to be way more careful around Sora or else things might turn sour. He shook his head a bit as he ordered himself to focus on his work and not worry about humans...or just one...getting too close. After all his color had returned back to normal now, and she would find the lighting excuse more reasonable than the idea a seemingly fine person randomly turning 'pale'. Right? He thought.
