You're gonna make me cry, in a way you're lucky. My Dad didn't get those choices. I was supposed to go and see him the morning he passed and due to the fact that he was in the veteran's hospital resuscitation nor a breathing tube was even an option. He wouldn't have wanted it anyways, the cancer's he had had already gone back to his lungs.

I know this is really weird to say, but make sure you hug and kiss him goodbye--tell him you love him, too. I still regret not being able to do that for mine. Continue to stay strong for your Mommy, too. :) *hugs*

*hug* I'll be praying his passing is peaceful for you and that his journey is a good one. As well as for your family. No time is ever right for this to happen. But, it is always good to have family and a good support system around in times like these.

On another note; I guess this year has been a hard year for a bunch of us. :/ Hopefully next year will be a good one for all.
