Gilbert picked up his little brother And dragged the little boy towards their home, holding his hand. "I met a strange girl today." He told the child. "Oh?" Ludwig asked with his normal straight face. "Mhm. She even knew about albinism. Isn't that weird? Most kids that age don't know that kinda stuff."
Elizaveta eventually went home and told her mom about the albino boy and her day at the park while helping her cook dinner. "I don't even know his name! But he kept saying he was a vampire!" Her mom simply laughed
Gilbert cooked for his brother, trying to ignore their crazy drunk mother. "Maybe I'll see her again tomorrow." he said with a large smile. "She was kinda funny." He said.
The next morning, Elizaveta dressed in shorts and a t-shirt before going outside to go to the park again. She did as she usually did, got on the same swing as she did everyday, but sang a different song. "The spring wind blows the waters, my flower... Every bird searches for a partner, my flower.."
((Another Hungarian song)) |
Prussia was walking with Ludwig, allowing the child to drag him to the playground. He didn't even notice the girl sitting there. He laughed and Ludwig dragged him to the slide.
" And I, whom should I choose, my flower, I choose you, and you choose me, my flower." Elizaveta heard laughing and turned her head as she swung. She saw the albino boy with a blonde haired boy. She jumped off hte swing and went over to where the two boys were. "Hey Vampire-boy!!"
He and Ludwig both turned to the girl. "Oh, Hey there doubter girl." He snickered. Ludwig waved. "Hi." he said softly. "This is my next victim." Gilbert said, wrapping an arm around his brother.
The brunette girl giggled. "Just don't drain him or someone will get suspicious ~~" She smiled. "I never got your name, Vampire-boy. I'm Elizaveta."
Gilbert smirked. "I'm Gil. This is Ludwig. He's my brother, and I'm actually just albino." he admitted. "it just sounds cooler to be a vampire."
"Well, you'll always be Vampire-Boy, Gil." She smiled. "I think, I'd do the same and say I were a vampire if I were you. Scare the people who aren't like me"
Gilbert laughed. "I just scare the jerks who pick on me." He said with a snicker.
"that makes sense!" she giggled "so... Whyd you say you were a vampire to me?"
He shrugged a little. "I dunno. I didn't know you, and I guess I just expected you to be mean like all the other kids.."
"oh... So it was like a turtle reaction!" she said confidently. "cover yourself before harm came be done, right?" she made a small noise and covered her mouth. "sorry. That was something mommy taught me..."
Both Gilbert and Ludwig glared at her for this comment. "I'm not a wimp." He said and turned away, taking his brother's hand. "I'll have you know he's awesome!" Ludwig shouted as they started to walk away.
"wait! No I didn't mean it like that!" she went after them. "I meant that you didn't want to be teased, so you did what you did."
Gilbert turned slightly. "would You not so the same if you were a freak?"
"but neither of us are freaks..." She truly did not understand the concept of being different.
He shook his head. "I don't get you at all." He admitted. Ludwig was still glaring at her untrustingly. "You don't see me as being strange? Or ugly, or creepy?"
"nope!" she admitted. "I see you as a friend. And as someone who can make someone laugh if they feel sad."
He looked kinda skeptic, then smiled a little bit. "Bur we only just met yesterday. You already see me as a friend?"
Elizaveta nodded. "You don't even need an hour to make a new friend." The young brunette sounded much older than she actually was.
The two Germans seemed to ponder this and then both smiled. "Then friends we are!" Gilbert declared.
She smiled happily. "Then, would you mind if I played with you guys?"
"We'd love to play with you." He giggled. "Whatcha wanna do?"
