Is It Just A Dream?
 

Kirin Rosenbaum: Here you go, I started it off, wasn't sure how to do so, now its my breakfast time.

Steve was in the mansions gym. He spent most of his free time there. Though to an outside he looked focused on his workout his mind was wandering. He was realizing he had feelings for one Tony Stark. Though having these feelings complicate things. For one he grew up in a time where if you were gay you hid it and started a family to hide what you were. He knows that now a days that isn't an issue but he can't help how he was raised. The other thing that made it complicated was the secret relationship he had had with Howard Stark. Tony would probably think he only wanted to be with him because he reminded him of his father. Steve sighs hitting the punching bag so hard it comes off the hook exploding. Steve wishes he had somebody he could talk with about this. But there was nobody, well maybe Natasha, but he couldn't bring himself to do that. Besides she and Clint were off on their honeymoon. He lets out a sigh again and cleans up his mess. He heads upstairs to try and find something to do.

Jan looks up at Hank his words having woken her. She smiles at him. It had taken awhile to get Hank out of his shell, but now they were together and she was truly happy. "Is it any good?" She asks of the book he's reading. She was excited to be heading off into the unknown with him.

Tony was in his work/study area downstairs where he always was working on his newest weapon which would evaporate items to no return or at least another dimension is what he thought. "Why isn't this working?" Tony asked himself very annoyed with the fact that he still couldn't figure it out, he was missing one big thing, he hadn't hit the light switch to turn everything on and start a spark within his machine to complete the first phase of it.

"Yea, it tells all about a couple that goes on a perilous journey deep into a jungle unable to escape" Hank spoke not realizing they were just about to do the same thing almost & it was a gift from Tony originally. The real reason behind it was to get Hank to realize they were just like the characters, him & Jan that is, and he had yet to notice.

Steve has made his way down to the lab. He watches Tony work. He looks so much like his father. He wants to go to him. To tell him his feelings, but Tony can't be gay. He's always with the women. He sighs as he watches him.

"Oh that sounds sort of like us, though I hope we don't get stuck in the jungle." She says. She leans in and kisses him, hoping to distract him from his book. She runs her hands down his side.

(*yawns* hello there)

Tony hears Jarvus "Sir, I would say that was not wise" of course Jarvus was talking about how Tony spoke to Pepper, "Hm?" "Talking to Miss Potts like that" "She'll get over it, turn the carbonation level down to 23%" Tony hadn't noticed he was being watched by anyone, he was too focused on his work.

Bruce got up as himself this time & not the Hulk, he walked downstairs to find out where anyone was in the house, he was going to see what Tony was up to. That is, if he was here, sometimes he was at the office or a bar, usually one of the places other than his work place. Bruce almost walked past Steve until he stopped realizing he was there "Going to see Tony?" he asked, Tony wouldn't be able to hear them.

Hank closes his book with the bookmark in it as Jan kisses him, but, it fell to the floor, still closed. Hank returns to the kiss wrapping his arms around her, the moment was perfect, nothing, but, the end of the flight could ruin this mood & they still had a good two hours.

"Just came up from there. He was in the middle of something, though I have no idea what. Didn't talk with him." Steve says. "How are you doing?" He asks concerned about his teammate. He does his best to keep his conflicting emotions off his face.

Jan moves into Hank's lap. "I love you Hank, even when you are driving me crazy." She says leaning in and nuzzling his neck. She then kisses his neck nibbling softly. ((Up to you if they've ever did this before.))

"I'm alright, I was going to see what Tony was up to down here, he is always working on something" Bruce stated as he looked over to Steve then back to Tony watching him get frustrated at Jarvus and yelling something he couldn't understand on the other side of the glass wall & door.

( X3 I think I'll hold off on Hank for the moment)

(awww alright just don't forget about him)

"Yeah, wish I could say the same." Steve says running his fingers through his hair. "I'll let you go see if you can help him." Steve says. He heads upstairs leaving Bruce behind. He heads to the garage to work on his bike. He was glad to have it. Maybe he would go for a ride.

Bruce watches Steve go and enters the lab. "Hey Tony." He says to the frustrated billionaire. "Need any help?" He has always been in awe of Tony's lab. He really hasn't been in anything that comes close.

(I won't, lets get a bit of time going with the rest and we'll bring him back or maybe sooner. I'm sorry that was a short post before, I hope this won't be as short, I am sort of very annoyed tonight) (Can I make an oc that has a small part here & there to give me more to write out?)

"Could you hand me that Ion neutralizer?" Tony asked not taking his eyes off his little piece of work, it looked almost like a flat gun, but, something else too.

"I love you to Jan, but, right now isn't the time. We need to focus on our objective" Hank spoke as he sighed remembering they were sort of on a secret mission that the avengers really hadn't any idea about.

(only if I can as well though I'm thinking mine might just throw more monkey wrenches into the already twisted love life of Steve Rogersr though if you wanted you could have your oc be attracted to Jan... oh the evil ideas or have somebody interact with Steve, like a fangirl or fanboy or something)

Bruce hands him the ion neutralizer. "So what you working on?" He asks leaning in over his shoulder to get a better look at it. He some how finds it very calming to be around Tony, though he can't explain why this.

"Hank we have two hours to do whatever we want." She says nibbling his neck more her hands tangle in his hair. It bugs her no end that it's always about work with him. She also wonder if he realizes how lucky he is.

Steve gets his bike done up and he heads out towards Central Park. He enjoyed the green space very much. He breathes in the fresh air. Soon he gets to Central Park and he gets off his bike. He activates the security system and then heads into the park.

(lol the fangirl or fanboy sounds mischevious and fun :) Oh the ideas I have...gotta...stop...watching...supernatural...lo l XD)
(I will add it to my first post above. Okay just did, took me some time to figure out what he would've been)

"Trying to create a weapon that would evaporate anything in sight...or more like whatever it touches I should say" Tony stated feeling tired from working, but, he was almost done. He had been downstairs for the past three, almost four hours, and only Thor had come downstairs to see what he was up to, well, until now and Thor just thought Tony needed to get out more.

Hank almost gave in, but, something just...he probably felt embarrassed that the plane itself was Jarvus and that if anyone needed them they could call and get an earful. "Jan, stop" he grabbed her wrists and pulled them apart (him and her) the only thing is he has no idea how this could effect them later on "Not right now, we need to work on finding that flower..." you could tell he saw what he did and the fact he stopped something so close again, it was going to be hard after this for sure.

There was already a couple people there, some kids running around screaming, and even a kid taking another kid's ice cream. That would've been enough to make anyone intervene, but, a simple boy on the bench, hadn't even touched his ice cream, he walked over to the bully's victim, and hands him his cone "You can have mine, it's Vanilla" he smiled as the boy smiled while stop crying and was happy again. The boy walked away, but, some of the adults thought it was weird and glared at him, he ignored them, everyone judged sooner or later. He turned away and walked back to the bench to take a seat while taking note of Steve. He knew who he was, he idolized the guy, but, wouldn't tell anyone that.

"Well wouldn't that make it hard to use?" He asks. "I mean wouldn't we evaporate trying to use it?" He is in awe of this man. His mind never ceased to amaze Bruce. He chuckles a bit as he hears the Hulk in his head complaining about science and how smashing things was far easier.

Jan is hurt, though she does her best to hide it. She stands up. "I'm going to go get some rest." She says. Doubt starts running through her mind. Does he really love her? Every time she tries to get him he pushes her away. She gets into the room closing the door, a few tears slide down her cheeks.

Steve sees what happens with the boys and the ice cream. He can't believe that some of the adults thought it was weird. Steve thought it was very noble. He goes to the ice cream man and gets a vanilla cone and heads over to the boy. "That was a very nice thing you did." He says with a smile offering the boy the ice cream. He does wonder if the boy will take.

(lol that is the way the hulk would think wouldn't it XD)

"You know, I hadn't thought about that, I'll have to re-configure the wires to make sure nothing happens to us" Tony stated then sighed as he would have to re wire everything he did because he was in a rush trying to get this new weapon for his suit to be done.

Hank feels bad for what he did, it's not that he didn't love her, it's not that he didn't want it to happen. However, he was more afraid they couldn't go back to what they had before if they took this path they were on, any further. "Goodnight Jan" he spoke not finishing his book and put his head back, he had to do something, he couldn't just sit here and stay in silence, but, what would he say to her? That he was afraid? Hank walks over to the door "Jan?" he whispered, he had left things unsaid for awhile now, he couldn't leave it like this. Having no answer he slid down against the wall next to the door and sat there with his head down.

The boy took the ice cream cone "Thanks, but, it's not like they see it that way" he knew how people viewed him and he honestly didn't care "Aren't you supposed to be out saving the city or the world?" he asks just saying that's what most heroes do.

"Need any help with that?" He asks pulling up a stool next to Tony. He was one of the few people Tony wouldn't kick out of his lab. He would never admit it to anybody but he had a crush on the billionaire.

Jan hears Hank and she feels bad for ignoring him but she's still hurt, a bit later she comes out. She just silently watches him. She wonders where they stand. She gently runs her fingers through Hank's hair. She turns to go get herself cleaned up, as her face is tear stained. She washes her face trying her best not to cry again. ::It's just time to move on.:: She thinks to herself.

"Doesn't matter. It was still nice, and brave." Steve says sitting on the bench next to him. "The world would be a better place if there were more people like you in it." He says with a smile.

(*bangs head repeatedly* If this is short, sorry, it deleted my post)

Tony worked on his invention, he had asked for a screwdriver, but, saw that there was no point to conitinuing since he dind't feel like it was useful right now. He put his head on his arms and closed his eyes, "Why aren't you upstairs with the others? It has to be more fun than being down here watching me tinker" he stated.

Hank knew this was his fault, just like the Ultron thing was his fault, and when ultron tried to take over the world. Hank felt Jan ruffle his hair, no one else on the private plane was there, and it was on auto pilot. Hank had fallen asleep until he felt a hand in his hair and that slowly woke him. "Jan?" he asked a bit tired looking around to see where she went or was.

'I doubt that' Riven thought to himself, "You're Captain America, right?" the boy asks in a whisper (can't remember if he was in his suit/armor) to make sure no one heard him whether or not it was obvious. Riven hated fans when it came to supers, it was worse than them being celebrities.

"I enjoy watching you tinker." Bruce says with a smile. He means it too. Though Hulk is complaining about how he would rather watch t.v. then watch Tony tinker. Bruce ignores him. ::To much t.v. isn't good for you.:: He says to the Hulk.

"In the bathroom." She calls. She has gotten herself cleaned up the best she can. She heads out to her bedroom just as Hank steps in. "So how much longer till we get to our destination?" She asks.

"Yeah," Steve says. He was in his regular clothes. "But you can call me Steve." He says. He feels very comfortable here. Central Park had always been his favorite place to come when he visited the city as a boy.

(lol that sounds like hulk, popcorn & tv)

"I think it'd be best sometime that the avengers could use a vacation" he stated as he sat up stretching, the light under his shirt that was keeping him alive glowed. Good thing was he didn't need to replace that one anymore like he did the first one he got a long time ago when he became Iron Man.

"Jan, I need to tell you something" Hank says, a moment passes before he says anything, they were alone, face to face, this is the best time to tell her how he felt about their relationship. However, before he could say it, the plane started to shake and fly uncontrollably "Autopilot, dis-engaged" the computer spoke before the lights went out, the jungle was rumored to disable any electronics that came miles within it's area.

"No official Avengers work to do today?" though he knew today had been quite quiet that didn't need the avengers attention, he just hoped he didn't speak too soon. Children ran by playing, parents talking & keeping an eye on their loved ones (children) and everything was peaceful as it was a beautiful day.

"We should. Though knowing the way things are as soon as we went on vacation all hell would break loose." Bruce can hear Hulk laughing at this. ::Oh shut up I'm serious.:: ::Hulk know that.::

Jan gasps as the plane starts lurching. She falls against Hank. This can't be good. She's heard about the jungle. She just hopes they can survive this. She wants to know what Hank was going to tell her.

"Nah, but I'll be contacted if anything comes up." He says. "So do you come here often?" He asks. He knows it sounds cliche but he doesn't want the young man to leave. He then realizes he hasn't even found out the boys name.

(i love these inner hulk arguments lol) (im outside atm and my hands are cold so if this is small forgive me)

Tony sighed, "You're right on that part, but, if we don't go. We'd probably die of boredom" of course he didn't mean technically when he said that. "Well, then what should we do?" maybe instead of a vacation, they could go in their every day outfits, and maybe just go out where no one would know who they are.

Hank figured this would happen, he already knew about what the legends said, but, he was still not ready for when the plane threw them off balance. He fell against the wall of the room catching Jan, he would have loved to stay in that moment, but, they had to get out soon or the plane would crash. "Come on, follow me" Hank quickly pulling her with him and out of the door of the plane as they fell, the plane swerved and crashed into the ground miles away.

"Yea, usually, I tend to like to watch the children play" even though the parents never trusted him "Other than that I just wait and listen" he had his own reasons for being around here and he liked it that way, no on ever questioned him, just looked at him like he was a freak "Oh, I'm Riven by the way"

(no worries and glad you like my inner hulk arguments)

"Go out for a meal. Go to museum, something different." ::Museums boring.:: ::Culture is good for you.:: "Or we could just go out to Central Park." Bruce helps Tony clean up a bit.

Jan gasps as he pushes her off the plane but quickly changes in The Wasp. She can't believe this is happening. Well if she were truthful with herself she can. Things like this always seemed to happen. She watches as the plane crashes.

"It's nice to meet you Riven. You know my parents used to bring me here often when I was growing up." He says as watches the children. It is nice to have somebody, besides the team, to talk to

Tony didn't always leave his work area a mess, though he did know where things were when he needed them, and Pepper was hiding something, most of the time she would have complained about the fact that his work area was really messy. "Well, why don't we go out to a bar, I know a good one" Tony knew alot of them actually.

Hank changes as an insect he brought with him came to his aid and caught him. It was actually a moth, easy to blend into trees "Looks like we'll need to find another way home later" he forgot about that part, but, he figured the avengers would figure they've been gone too long in a couple days and go looking for them.

Thor had left to go to his home, he figured he needed to visit it at least once a year, and even though Loki was gone, he still missed his brother. 'Loki, why did you have to do all that...you could have just said something' Thor thought to himself, he powered up, but, something caught his attention out in the distance, an explosion, miles away from the park. The aftermath sent a wild path of wind rushing through everyone and everything in it's path.

His black hair moved with the wind as he turned to face it, but, ran over to some of the children blocking the wind from them. His eyes showed a firey spirit hidden, he was ready to take on whatever was out there. "what was that" he asked to no one or anyone if anyone did know anything. However, it was silent, people were freaking out, car alarms going off, something was happening, and it felt as if something...returned...

"A bar sounds like it could be fun." Bruce said. Though he wouldn't be drinking much. He couldn't risk loosing control. "Wonder who else is around." He said as they headed up stairs.

"Well duh." Jan said. Hank always had a knack for stating the obvious. And truth be told she found that to be endearing. She followed him through the trees to the ground.

Steve felt the wind and looked towards it's source, he missed the hidden spirit. "What in the world was that?" He wondered allowed. He turned to the gathered families. "Is everybody alright?" He asksed.

Tony followed Bruce upstairs "I would have to change before we leave" there was no way, Tony Stark would be caught in a white tank top & messy pants, it didn't suit his character, and there was no way a guy could get a girl wearing something like that, not a girl that is worthy enough for him at least.

The reason why Jan and Hank were out in this jungle was mainly because of a species of bug that Hank wanted to find. However, there was a lot of crossbreeds and unknown species here, so it wouldn't be right off the bat. Hank led the way as he returned to normal size, the jungle had the tallest trees, probably stories high, and really thick in width. Hank hadn't realized, the forest was moving, almost as if it was alive. He was too focused on what happened between him & Jan. He held her hand as he led the way, not to let them get separated.

Riven looked around "Yea, everyone is fine, we need to figure out what's going on" Riven answered as he glanced around "Looks like duty calls" he stated as he stood up and walked over the way he came originally. He wondered how far away it was, the reason why all the wind had gathered and been sent out.

Thor flew out to where the force of wind came from, he cut right through it, as he could because he was the god of thunder. Maybe not lighting, but, it was combined with thunder, so it helped when it came down to the element, air. Thor was shocked as he stood there "This cannot be" he spoke in his medieval type of accent as he saw who was in front of him creating destruction. There stood his brother, Loki, the god of mischief once more. Thor was shocked, he watched his brother fall from the bridge, he watched as his brother had let go of his hand, and how he caused so much destruction before it all.

Bruce smiled as they headed up from the lab. "Totally understandable." He was looking forward to spending time with Tony.

Jan was pleased when Hank took her hand. She really did love Hank, which is the only reason she had agreed to come on this trip with him. Tromping around the jungle wasn't her idea of fun. But she knew how important this research was to him.

"Kid you should head home." Steve said not wanting Riven to get hurt. He started heading to where the wind had come from. He spots Thor as he neared the location. "Thor what's happening?" He asked he spotted Loki. "Who is that?"
