"I'm not sure... I would have to spend awhile at the village monitoring the tests and training of those who have the potential." Kiyan explained then frowned softly "That means I'll be away for awhile." she frowned sadly.
Adaza just looked at her. Did she not realize that he was somewhat back to normal, that he could go with her. Though he might scare them if they saw him train, especially with his new Reaper abilities. "You do realize, I'm out here to train my abilities. That now that I'm cured. I can travel with you and train there without hurting someone." He told her plainly. "Or would you rather do this alone? If that is want you, I can stay here and train." He told her with a smirk. He knew her answer but it didn't stop him from questioning her.
"Well I just wasn't sure if you would want to come or not, I would prefer it if you came with my but I understand if you wouldn't feel comfortable in the village" Kiyan said giving a slight smile but really did want him to come with her, after all there was a chance no one would say anything since they were now bound to each other fully and that would be very clear right away.
Adaza just softly took her into his arms. "Kiyan, you went with me to get cured and waited in a dangerous area for me. Why would I not be there for you?" He asked her softly. It would make him look like a complete jerk if he did not go with her. He would be a little uncomfortable after all he killed a lot of her kind. Perhaps he could make amends in a way, though it might be easy. However it would have to wait after the Civil war his people were going to be going through once his cousin was dead.
Kiyan smiled easily and wrapped her arms around him happily and lovingly "I'm sure it will be better then last time, after all we are bound now and I am a spirit fox" she smiled easily but did hope that things would be better thanks to the changes.
Adaza doubted it would be better, there was that foolish teenager that wanted to prove himself. "Perhaps for some. You are forgetting our kind are still at war with each other and mine is about to go into a Civil war." He plainly told her. "Sehpeal will not take kindly to Kirito's death. He'll rage a war against me and class me a traitor." Adaza just chuckled lightly. "Well I'm already classed a traitor in his eyes but now that I'm bound to you and you me. Then the fun will really began." He told her, he was actually looking forward to it in a sick way. War and death was his specialty.
"by the way, what will happen when you finally kill Sepheal?" Kiyan asked curiously before smirking a little and shaking her head at his words knowing how twisted he could be.
Adaza just looked at Kiyan plainly. He just told her. "The kingdom will erupt in Civil war. All the generals will fight for power since Sehpeal has no heri. This will include me. Some generals like Murkial and Yialan will allience themselves under the one they believe fit to rule the Kingdom." He plainly told her. He would could easily out strategize most of the generals and their seconds. "The only one that will really pose a threat is Derkithian, his cruelty matches Kirito's but his skill over matches his." Adaza just smiled, He was actually looking forward to meeting Derkithian on the battlefield again. He smiled remembering the horrid scar he gave his fellow general.
"But you have an upper hand now that should push you much further ahead" Kiyan pointed out but was still worried even though she was sure that if anything happened she could bring him back
He just looked at her softly. "That advantage is something I do not want to use. It is dangerous and I can not fully control it as of now. I can only train until Sehpeal seeks me out for Kirito's death. I won't have it mastered anytime soon, perhaps some minor things like the doppelganger you just saw. It can have a mind of it's own but right now it's hard just creating a statue." He told her honestly. He had used allot of energy just practicing that.
Kiyan frowned as she listened but nodded a bit and just hugged Adaza lovingly "So long as nothing happens to you" she said softly really hoping he would be okay
Adaza just looked at Kiyan but hugged her back tightly, he rested his his chin lightly on her head. "You think you would realize by now that I'm the worse opponent to have on the battlefield." He chuckled lightly. "You trained a little with me, you seen me fight. You even drooled over me when you saw me training a few days after reconnecting with your brother. Kiyan, what gives you the idea that I can fall so easily?" He asked her curiously. He wanted her to answer why she felt that way.
Kiyan smirked but then blushed a bit when he mentioned her drooling over him then just shook her head "Just because I know how strong you are or how capable you are doesn't mean that I still don't worry about you" she explained softly giving him a slight smile.
Adaza couldn't help but smile softly. "Didn't think I saw you with your mouth open watching me train, did you?" He asked her in a mocking tone. She would always worried over everything, it seemed to be a big part of her personality. However right now he rather pick on her. It was becoming one of his favorite pass times. "It seem your brother wasn't the only thinking I was dreamy." He said chuckling as he left her go.
Kiyan smirked a bit still with a blush on her cheeks "I just never knew anyone could look so elegant while training" she smirked a bit before pulling away since he had let her go
Adaza just looked at her oddly. "Elegent?" He just raised his eyebrow at her. How could someone be elegant when they trained. Yes his movements were fluid and accurate but elegant. He just shrugged it off, he needed to get back to training his abilities. "What will you do while I train?" He asked her curiously.
"I need to train a bit as well. I should probably also make sure that all the supplies and such are packed." Kiyan said softly before smiling a bit at Adaza then went off to make sure everything was packed and ready that she would need before shifting into her spirit form. She put all her focus into the dark energy that she had and what she wanted to do managing to teleport half-way through the forest causing her to pant a bit. She then focused once more and teleported back leaning against a treee and sliding down into a sitting position.
Once Kiyan just left Adaza went back to his training. He concentrated on the shadows to form the doppelganger once more, it was easier the more he practiced it. He tried to hold it longer than the last one. Each time he held it longer, forcing himself to push harder and harder on his limits. He needed to master more of the new abilities that the Reaper subclass had gave him. However this was a family trait, he needed to master them before he moved to the subclass abilities.
He was caught off guard when the doppelganger lunged at him, he barely dodged the clone of himself. It was rather aggressive. Adaza tried to keep up the concentration while dodging the clone's violent attacks. He lost his footing when the doppelganger split into two clones, both lunging at him at the same time. He hit the ground causing the shadows to scatter. He was breathing heavily as he laid on the ground, sweat covering him. He just laughed at the thought of being able to have more than one out at the same time. Oh training would be fun. |
Kiyan stood as she heard a commotion and moved to where Adaza was looking at him curiously "Um.... what just happened?" she asked curiously seeing that he looked just as warn out as she did
Adaza just kept his soft smile on his face. "I learnt a new trick with the doppelgangers." He chuckled lightly. "I was able to make it attack me. During the time I was dodging it's attacks, I had to concentrate to keep it active. It ended up splitting into. It caught me off guard and I fell down onto the ground." He looked at her playfully. "It was rather fun. I'm going to enjoy that ability." He chuckled again, he felt like a teenager again after that.
Kiyan smiled and laughed a little at what he said. "So not only have you been attacked with you own training equipment but now you're own powers?" she laughed easily offering him her hand to help him up if he wanted. She found it quite amusing that his powers seemed to like attacking him so much
Adaza just stood up and grabbed her hand pulling her to him. He was all sweaty from training. He hugged her playfully and smiled. "I forgot about the training equipment, my mind had been to busy here lately." He just looked at Kiyan. "I guess so." He chuckled letting her go. "We should really go get cleaned up." He told her softly as he grabbed his journal. He covered a yawn before heading back to the barn to put the journal alway. All the training had wore him out.
"Ah now I really do need to clean up, you just sweated all over me" Kiyan laughed a bit before heading off to wash up some. Once she was done she got dressed in her other outfit washing the one she had been wearing before using her powers to dry it carefully, luckily the two outfits were pretty much fire proof
Adaza just chuckled, he did hug her while he was sweaty. He placed the journal back into its proper place. He was slight a neat freak even in a barn. He just adjusted the satchel back on the wooden shelf before leaving to get his clothes off the line. They were drying from this morning. Renia was nice enough to do them so he could train. She always did things for him for some reason, he would have to repay her. Maybe it had something to do with his student Aoide, he wasn't sure.
Kiyan was soon finished and put her clothes away making sure that she had everything before going to see what Adaza was doing. She wondered when he would be ready or okay with leaving
