I had no idea how hard it was to work on a wig until this week. I got one for the Renaissance Faire for next year, but it wasn't quite what I wanted. It was a bad fairy wig, but it had these horrible ponytail things on it, so I got them off & added that hair to the bottom of the wig. The original wig wasn't as long as I would of liked it to be.
I kept pricking my finger & had a time trying to sew those 2 bunches of hair into place & get it to look half decent.

I sewed and rolled wefts up together and put an elastic on them, and then gathers a bunch of hair and put an elastic band that to keep the hair in place and looking naturally longer for my pony tails, so yeah it can be a bit of a pain in the but. the wigs I worked with were sooooo bald.

Alright, since everyone is sharing their pictures, here's mine, this is about 2 years old, most current one on my computer at the moment, it was for my home school groups Spring Ball.
