I don't like having to be away from my family so much. Deployments, over seas tours. It's not worth it to miss out on everything. Like, seeing my kids.

I have been up for 2 hours already xD

I have planned to become an art teacher ^^ I've almost got my associates and then I'll be on my bachelors after my next set of classes. I've already talked to the troops to teachers people and talked to teh school that I want to work for but I can't fill out any paperwork til I'm a year away from being out, so that'll be next year.

Yeah, we worked outside and cleaned our carport and gazebo and then went over and watched a Christmas movie with my grandparents :)

Aw that's awesome! I'm a music teacher myself - it's so rewarding :D and you'll get to have summer, winter, and spring break to spend with your family every year :)

No it's not. In the past 6 years I've seen my daughter for about 6-8 months total. That's a lot of missed time. Now my hubby is missing out on his daughter, has missed a year total now... So, it's too much to ask. If I was single with no kid, I probably wouldn't care. but I have to be more responsible and not do things so dangerous. i nearly died so many times while I was deployed. it was fun at the time, but if one little thing had been different I might not be here right now. Need something safer, for the sake of our family.
