"I know." He says touching Uriel's arm softly. There is away he could remove the mark and still have Uriel be safe but Kirin isn't sure Uriel would like it much better.
Uriel leans into the touch automatically, without thinking. He has no clue about this other way of him being safe so he wouldn't know either way if he'd like any better or not. "Why do they think that?"
"I wouldn't know." He says putting his arm around Uriel's waist. "You know there is another way."
Uriel leans into Kirin a bit at the arm around his waist. "Huh?" He looks up at Kirin, tilting his head a bit. "Another way?" He's a bit confused at the moment.
"If I were to mate with you. I could remove the mark and you would be safe. You also wouldn't be considered a pet at that point." He says stroking Uriel's hair.
"Eh?" Uriel just looks up at Kirin with very wide eyes. Yeah, to say the least, he's surprised, he's never thought about doing anything like that before...though that might be a bit understandable considering where he's from and what he would have been taught. He can't help the shiver that runs through him at Kirin's touch-even as he leans into it a bit. Part of Uriel, a part he didn't even know existed, wants to do that suggestion...even if he had to keep the mark. He makes a whine like noise as that part goes up against the "angel" part of him in his mind.
Kirin can sense his unease. "Don't worry, I won't force this one on you. The choice is yours." Kirin does understand the battle that is going on within Uriel. He just stands there holding Uriel.
Uriel ends up wrapping his arms around Kirin, holding on to him a bit tightly. He doesn't know what to do, though a part of him has a very good point. He was thrown away for doing nothing wrong, he can't go back, so why should he follow their rules? Their laws? He followed them and was unfairly thrown out for doing as he was supposed to. And that's when his eyes start to get watery and tears start falling again. He knows he cries too much, but those kind of thoughts are still painful. "I want...to be with you." That he does know at least.
Kirin tilts the young ones chin up and kisses him softly. "That truly makes me happy." He says softly. Kirin wraps his wings around Uriel and just holds him close. A part of him does feel guilty for if he and his fellow angels hadn't rebelled Uriel wouldn't be in this situation.
Uriel kind of misses the days when things were simple, back when he knew nothing, but at the same time...is it any better for being disliked/hated for something you don't even know about? Maybe it'll end up being better this way. He does kiss Kirin back, without thinking, but with some blushing. He ends up, as Kirin wraps his wings around them, nuzzling into the other a bit.
Kirin holds Uriel close, he just wants to keep him safe. He is scared to death about Alistair, but he does his best to hide his emotions not wanting to upset Uriel any farther.
It's a good thing that Kirin is hiding it-Uriel might not know much about this world, but Kirin being afraid would worry him quite a bit to say the least. Especially since Kirin knows people, is able to do things on his own unlike Uriel. He just hold him tightly, almost like he's afraid Kirin might leave. "Thank you." He says softly.
"For what?" Kirin asks a bit confused. He does wonder how long it will take Willow to get back to him. He couldn't leave the house until he did.
"For being here." For not just leaving Uriel out there or anything...for dealing with him in general. He hugs Kirin a bit tightly for a moment, nuzzling him a bit before loosening his hold.
"You're welcome." He says still holding Uriel close and with in the fold of his wings. Just then there is a chiming sound. "That will be Willow." He reluctantly lets Uriel go. He moves to the mirror. "You found us a place?" He asks as Willow's face appears.
"Yes I have. I will be at your place in a moment to take you there." "I await your arrival." The image disappears. |
Uriel smiles up at him a bit before he lets go as well. "Alright then." He says softly, padding after him a bit, staying away from the mirror, but he' curious about this.
There is a slight breeze and the face of the mirror shimmers. Soon Willow is standing there. He's only about five feet tall. "Kirin." He smiles and goes to Kirin hugging him.
"Willow, it's been along while." He returns the hug. |
Uriel just stares at the mirror wide-eyed as the other person comes out of it. Yeah, he's just going to be kind of rude and stare, it's all he can do at the moment.
"Hello Uriel." Willow says with a smile at the shock on the boys face.
Kirin chuckles at Uriel's reaction and kisses his cheek. |
Uriel can't help it, he's never seen a person come out of a mirror...or anything of the like either. He just blinks a bit. "Uh...hi..." He finally gets out before kind of squeaking and blushing at the kiss.
Willow chuckles a bit. "Don't worry, you're reaction is normal. You should have seen how Kirin reacted the first time I came through the mirror."
"It wasn't pretty." Kirin says chuckling fondly. |
And at that, Uriel blushes a bit more, bowing his head. He does know it's rude to stare. But he does look at Kirin, a bit curious about his reaction at the moment-it's obvious that he wants to hear the story from just the look he's giving the other.
"I believe that if I screamed like a little girl."
"And then he fainted." Willow said with a chuckle. |
Uriel starts smiling before he shakes a bit and bursts out laughing. He likes Kirin's reaction a bit if no one could tell. It's a great reaction. He wasn't expecting Willow to come a normal way, but he wasn't expecting the mirror either to tell the truth.
Kirin just laughs. Uriel's laugh is infectious and he can't help but laugh.
"To be fair to Kirin you did have some warning of me. When I came through the mirror he knew nothing of me." Willow says chuckling as well. |
