Elizabeth looked at the happy couple and smiled a bit before looking over at Amber. She watched her as Vanessa slept and wished that Amber would find happiness, too. The brunette closed her eyes and let her mind wonder before she thought of her father. Her heart ached because he did not know of his grandchildren. Especially since Vanessa now carried her mother's name.

Ben could see the sadness in Elizabeth's face as she closed her eyes and kissed her head gently. "thinking about your father?" he asked her softly so no one else could hear him. "do you think maybe we should trying calling him?" he asked her as he squeezed her hand gently. He then looked over at Amber and smiled as he watched her with Vanessa.

She felt Ben's kiss and nodded as she held onto his hand. "My mother was named Vanessa..." Elizabeth said softly as she thought about calling him. "I don't know if it would do any good but....I can try when we get home." Her eyes closed as she looked outside. "Ben...nightfall will be soon..."

Ben nodded when he heard her and smiled, "well it doesn't hurt to try." he said as he looked down at her. Though when he heard her, he sighed, "I will beo n the hospital roof." he said since he kenw he couldn't stay in the hospital room. Sarah then sighed and looked up at Jack, "that is our sign to get going, can't exactly stay." she said and Jack nodded. Amber smiled as she looked at everyone, "I will stay here with Elizabeth and make sure that she is taken care of." she said happily.

Her eyes went to Ben as she nodded and sat up to hug her husband. "Okay. Be careful." Elizabeth said before letting him go. She looked at Sarah and Jack as she smiled at them. "Take care. We'll have to have dinner soon." The brunette said as she waved at them before looking to Amber. "I could use the company. Thank you." She said looking down at her sleeping children.

Ben smiled as he hugged her back and kissed her gently, 'i will be and when the sun comes up I will be right here." he said as he smiled down at her. Sarah then smiled at her and nodded, "we will deffinatly have to have dinner soon." she said and with that her and Jack left. Ben left for the roof and then it was just amber here. Smiling at her, amber sat down in the chair next to her, "you know your family is beautiful." she said as she smiled at Elizabeth.

Elizabeth kissed him back as she nodded and watched them leave. Her eyes went to Amber as she nodded and looked to her sleeping children. "Thank you. We wouldn't be like this without all your help, Amber." She said as her hand touched her friend's. Vanessa started to stir then cry as she was already hungry. "Come here, baby girl." The brunette said as she reached for her daughter.

Amber smiled at her, "and I am glad that I was able to help." she said as she smiled at her. Handing over Vanessa to her, she smiled, "and you make a wonderful mother." he said as she watched Vanessa calm down right away as she was close to Elizabeth.

She looked at Vanessa and moved her gown to feed her new daughter. "Thank you." Elizabeth said as she held Vanessa to her and used the other hand to stroke her son's hair. Her eyes closed as she leaned back in the bed with her children.

Amber smiled at her and then leaned back in her chair, "I still can't believe that it has only been a few years since I have known you. Now you feel like a daughter that I never had." he said as she smiled over at her.

Her eyes went to Amber as she blushed and tried not to cry. "Thank you, Amber." Elizabeth said as she wiped her eyes and laid back to rest. She held onto her children as they continued to sleep.

Amber smiled and placed a hand on her's, "no, I should be thanking you, Now why dont you get some rest." he said as she smiled at her. |
Elizabeth nodded as she closed her eyes and fell asleep with her children in her arms.
After a few days, it was time for Elizabeth and her daughter to go home. Both were healthy enough and everyone seemed eager to get Vanessa home. The brunette smiled as she held her daughter as a nurse wheeled her towards the exit. |
Ben smiled as he waited outside with the car and Zack. Zack was bouncing up and down, he coudln't wait to go home and be with his sister. ONce Ben saw Elizabeth, he walked over to her and took the wheel chair from her, "so ready to go home?" he asked as he took her over to the car.

She smiled at Zack as Vanessa slept in her arms. "Easy, Zack. You'll wake her." Elizabeth said as she nodded and kissed her husband. "Yeah. I want to show our princess her room." Her eyes went to him as she hugged Vanessa gently. The brunette placed Vanessa in her car seat and sat down next to her.

Zack stopped bouncing right away and smiled, "okay, promise not to wake." he said before jumping into the car. Ben chuckled and then kissed her back, "then lets get going." he said as he watched his family get into the car. HOpping in himself, he drove back home and smiled as he got into the driveway. As he got to the house he laughed slightly. Sarah and Jack had placed a banner that said welcome on the house. "well she is certainly having a warm welcome." he said as he looked back at Elizabeth.

Her eyes went to Zack as she smiled at him. "Good boy, Zack. You're a good helper." Elizabeth looked at Ben as he drove them home and let her daughter hold onto her finger. She looked at the sleeping Vanessa before looking at their house. The brunette smiled as she looked at the house and nodded. "Well, she's kept a lot of people waiting."

Zack smiled as he watched over his sister during the drive and once he got to the house he hopped out. He couldn't wait to go and help Elizabeth with the Vanessa. Ben smiled when he heard her and nodded. Getting out of the car, he headed over to her side as Sarah cheered and welcomed Vanessa. Opening up Elizabeth's door, he held out a hand to her, "come on, lets go take our new daughter inside." he said happily.

Elizabeth smiled as she watched Zack wile Vanessa held onto her. Her eyes went to Ben as she waited for him to open her door. She grabbed her daughter from her car seat and took his hand. "Yeah. Welcome home, Vanessa." The brunette said before looking at her daughter then her family. "We are complete."

Ben smiled as he helped her out and kept her hand in his. Leading them over to Sarah and Jack, he smiled as they quieted down and looked at hte baby. "we have house warming gifts inside." Sarah said and then Zack ran over to the door. Opening it, he smiled, "lets head inside." he said excited.

She looked at Ben as they walked over to their friends. Elizabeth nodded as she smiled and looked at Vanessa. "Thank you. I appreciate it." Her eyes went to Zack as he ran to the door and smiled as she nodded. "Ok, Zack. We have to show Vanessa the house."

Ben smiled as he walked with Elizabeth and headed to the door with her. Zack was bouncing up and down, he couldn't wait to have his sister at his house. Once inside, Sarah and Jack came in and smiled at the two. Ben was surprised to see the crib in the living room and inside the crib were a bunch of dippers. "we thought you might need these." jack said as he smiled. Ben looked at them in disbelieve but smiled, "thank you my friends." he said softly.

Her eyes went to Vanessa as she laid sleeping in her mother's arms. Elizabeth smiled at her son before moving the diapers to lay her daughter down. "Thank you." She said as she laid Vanessa down to sleep.

Sarah smiled when she heard them, "it was no problem, we thought it would be nice to help." she said as she smiled at her. Ben smiled as he looked over at Vanessa while she slept and thought she looked like the cutest thing ever. Smiling, he kissed Elizabeth and looked at Zack, "why don't you go draw a picture." he said and with that Zack smiled and ran off to go get crayons and paper.

Elizabeth looked at Ben and kissed him back before looking to sleeping daughter. "She's adorable." Her eyes went to her son as she smiled and stood there. "Zack is going to be a heart breaker." She looked at her kids and thought of her father who they hadn't talked to since they ran away.
