I already made up my mind voting wise, but I don't want to swing in 'heavy' political discussion into the thread unless Poet approves. :S Also if I told you who I am going to vote for, my vote wouldn't come true. lol I just picked up that line from King of The Hill. XD! As for the system, it is a mess and it will take A LOT MORE to fix it. I'll leave it at that. ^-^;

Well I role play reality based role plays mixed with some fictional elements. If you're interested, I can pm you my inactive role play search thread (just don't post in it) and some of my role play as examples. [yes]

Poet made their choice. The current person has ruined poet's life multiple ways and times.
Granted poet's mother watches fox news... ugh... I can has PBS?

@ Liz - So long as you stop if someone asks, I don't mind. lol I was refraining for the same reason XD
I could rant for DAYS about this.

Yes, you can have (has) PBS! [boogie] I have a choice of two PBS affiliates too! Which one you want?

Fox News scares me too. [cry]

@ Star- your avatar looks nice, I would try to get my Halloween one ready soon.

The Wandering Poet 10-12-2012 12:08 AM

@ Star - Just chipping in my vague feelings about that debate... (politics basically)

@ Liz - Tip for Fox News: Treat it like a comedy, they bicker and fight like teenagers over a boy... =.=
Ah, is there an internet version? Poet's tv access is minimal as fox news is always on :(

star2000shadow 10-12-2012 12:09 AM

'blinks' oh thanks I'm just fiddling with her outfit. 'shrugs' and.. what .. debate.. 'frown'...star's not seen the news at all >_>

The Wandering Poet 10-12-2012 12:11 AM

Poet wishes they hadn't... poet hates listening to the news fighting and arguing...

Yes! The Vice Presidential one, Biden and Ryan. :S If it gets too boring, I'll watch South Park streaming online. [lol]

---------- Post added 10-11-2012 at 08:16 PM ----------

PBS NewsHour | PBS <<< This site might help you, Poet. If not, at least I tried. [heart]

Dottie Mae Evans 10-12-2012 12:30 AM

That's okay, Star. As long as you early Vote or vote on election day. [heart] I wish I had known that I could work the polls or I would had worked them. [:D]! Anyways... I should watch South Park now or save it for when the debate bores me. :S

The Wandering Poet 10-12-2012 12:30 AM

Isn't really a point star... poet listens to the people on the bus. So many people are struggling to find jobs, even more than usual.

---------- Post added 10-11-2012 at 05:31 PM ----------

I'd wait... apparently biden says some hilarious stuff

I know. [lol] Biden makes me laugh too. I'll be nice tonight and won't call him a foot-in-the-mouth. [shock]

I do apologize if that offends anyone. Also it is kind of surprising that I would say such a thing due to my party affiliation. :-X

The Wandering Poet 10-12-2012 12:54 AM

Honestly I think the reason Obama kept him is because nobody really takes him seriously... so if he spouts a bunch of nonsense, nobody is going to care XD makes it one less debate they have to deal with.

Ehh... some political people are nuts that's nothing new XD
Cheney (sp) accidentally shot someone while hunting didn't he? [lol]

Dottie Mae Evans 10-12-2012 01:09 AM

Yeah, that is true. [lol] As for Cheney (I don't know the spelling for his name either...), yes he did and he made his friend apologize. [shock] Man... I can't wait to see 2016 though, my only ideals for candidates for my party makes me kind of sad but not sad. :S Oh well, here's to the future and life!

The Wandering Poet 10-12-2012 01:13 AM

Eh... I don't really care about politics... just voting for the best liar. And one side has been lying to me for 4 years. (poorly might I add)

Dottie Mae Evans 10-12-2012 01:22 AM

Yup. Man... I had to mute the debate.... I am streaming South Park soon.

Edit: >.>; Looks like I might as well throw my TV out the window.

The Wandering Poet 10-12-2012 01:28 AM

Sounds pretty boring XD just on and on and on...

Dottie Mae Evans 10-12-2012 01:30 AM

Yeah, I have a comment but I don't want to offend anyone. Not on Facebook or on Menewsha. :-X It isn't anything bad, but too political and can hurt feelings. [cry]

The Wandering Poet 10-12-2012 01:31 AM

Well I feel anyone has a right to their opinion. Even if I don't agree with it.

If I want to judge you about your opinion I need to get my head, pullit out of my butt and get over myself. [lol]

Dottie Mae Evans 10-12-2012 01:36 AM

Hm... I am waiting for the right still to come out, then I can caption it. [angel] I could had saw Obama today at a local university but I couldn't miss class. [cry] But I saw Obama in person twice though. [heart] Once when he helped Jim Davis (a Florida Democratic Governor Candidate) and when he was running in 2008.

The Wandering Poet 10-12-2012 02:08 AM

Obama came to my city... but he didn't make any jobs. Not that it was anything special... tons of filthy rich people have come to our city... none of them have helped our economy [lol]

Stimulus came into my county (especially a certain part of my county), but people took advantage of the stimulus in a bad way and used it for what it wasn't meant to be used for. [cry] It was suppose to improve the inner-city, not mess it up and put money into pockets. Ugh... It isn't the president's fault, but I blame the local political level per se.

The Wandering Poet 10-12-2012 02:38 AM

I dunno... my views on obama are a tad too historically graphic for mene.
(He's done one thing above the rest that hurts a lot)

Dottie Mae Evans 10-12-2012 02:48 AM

Yeah... what goes on in the inner-city oppression wise is a bit much for Menewsha. :S After all we have teens here. Oh sure they know what grassroots is, but the true issue of the matter (the grown folks stuff) they shouldn't have to be worry about that. They should enjoy what childhood they do have. :S

Both parties are just as bad. Even though I lean towards liberal, but meh... both parties aren't that great. I would vote Republican but it takes a special republican for me to crossover voting wise. There is no special republican this time around (local or federal). Meh... You don't want to know what goes on in my local politics. It'll make you laugh, cry, think, and sigh.

Anyways on a lighter note, Who moved my cheese? It's a book and I should read it that way I know who moved it.

The Wandering Poet 10-12-2012 03:07 AM

Grass roots!! <3 :D

Don't worry, the internet made me shed all my tears... [lol]

What about cheese?
