"I will. I'll see you in a few hours." Tina left, heading towards the ship.
It did take her a little while to get to the ship though. |
Rachel was sitting on the dock, practicing a bit of magic. It was a bit more complex than she had been working on with Gold, and she was partially doing it to see if she really could. When she noticed Tina, she smiled.
"Hey," she greeted. |
"Hey." Tina grinned at her, even though she could feel that the magic was more complex than before. "You look happier."
|
"I'm not battling a migraine anymore," Rachel said, grinning. She waved her fingers a bit, and the magic stopped and vanished. "What brings you out here?"
|
"Itchy feet," Tina replied easily. "Plus I wanted to see you. You did leave in kind of a hurry last night."
|
"Migraine," Rachel said. "But I'm fine now. Sleeping made it stop. Did I miss anything good after I left?"
|
"Not really. They set off a few fireworks, but that was about the most exciting thing." Tina shrugged. "Are you sure you're okay? You seem a bit... different."
|
Rachel hesitated for a moment.
"I feel a bit different," she admitted finally. |
Tina noticed her hesitation and stayed quiet for a few moments before she decided to push.
"So what changed?" |
Rachel bit her lip slightly, debating what to tell her.
"Killian kissed me," she said finally. |
Tina nodded. She wasn't that surprised, but she could also tell that wasn't all there was to the story.
"Okay. And? What else?" |
Rachel was quiet for another moment.
"I remember," she said softly, looking at Tina cautiously. |
It took a few moments to register, and then Tina blinked.
"Okay," she said cautiously. "So you remember everything now. Is that good? Bad? Undecided as of yet? Are you holding up okay? Do you need to get away for a few days? 'Cause I can make that happen." |
"I... don't know," Rachel said. "It's... different. I remember being Rachel, and I remember being Rapunzel."
|
"That answers one question, I asked several," Tina said, leaning a bit closer to her. "Really, if you think you need to go for a few days, we can go, let you get yourself settled."
|
"I don't think I need to go," Rachel said. "So far I'm okay here." She paused for a moment, turning a bit red. "I want to stay with Killian."
|
Tina nodded, resisting the urge to tease her for now. "Yeah, I'm not surprised. Well, as long as you think you'll be okay..."
|
"I think so," Rachel said, nodding. "Just... don't tell anyone? I want to try to be just Rachel for a little while longer. Just until I know who I actually am again."
|
"Of course I won't tell anyone," Tina said, reaching over and hugging her. "Take as long as you need to get comfortable, I won't say anything to anyone."
|
"Thanks," Rachel said, returning the hug. "It's weird, I remember everything now. Most of it is of the tower, but still."
|
"Yeah." Tina shook her head a bit. "Well, at least you do remember. It should make some things easier, right? So there's some good out of it."
|
Rachel nodded.
"We'll see what happens," she said. |
Tina nodded and just settled in next to her for a bit, relaxing. Or trying to, anyway.
|
Rachel noticed that Tina was tense.
"What's wrong?" she asked, nudging her friend. "Don't tell me nothing, I know you better than that." |
"I dunno, it's just kind of... odd, I guess. I'm the only one now that doesn't remember everything." Tina shrugged.
