Rachel hugged her friend.
"If it helps, I wasn't expecting it," she said. "It was really sudden, Killian kissed me and it just... happened." |
Tina nodded. "Yeah. Well, that's how those things go, right? No one's expecting it." She smiled a bit. "It's nice, though. Means he's good for you."
Rachel just blushed a bit.
"I think I love him," she admitted quietly, putting her forehead on Tina's shoulder. |
Tina stayed there, grinning. "Well, that's not a bad thing, right?" she asked cheerfully. "Doesn't sound like a bad thing, anyway."
"No, I don't think it's a bad thing at all," Rachel said. She grinned a bit. "What about you and Gold?"
Tina hesitated for a moment. "We've kissed," she said. "Nothing more. Bae's been living with us for a little bit, and I think Gold's been a bit distracted. Or he's just slow and careful in everything, one of the two."
"But how do you feel about him?" Rachel pressed gently.
"I might love him. I think." Tina smiled a bit. "I'm not entirely sure, but I think I might."
Rachel grinned and hugged her.
"I'm glad," she said. "He'd better keep treating you right." |
"So far he's been great," Tina said with a brief grin. "You don't have to worry about that."
"Good," Rachel said. She was quiet for a moment. "So what happens now? What happens when we both remember? I mean, we're here, we can live whatever lives we want..."
Tina was quiet for a moment. "I think that's it," she said. "We can live whatever lives we want. You can keep up with your magic if you want, you could sail with Hook, you could help out rebuilding town. Whatever you want to do."
"I still need to learn how to make the ship to sail itself," Rachel mused. "I never needed to know how, before."
Tina snorted. "Well, Gold did it, I'm sure you can learn how to now," she said. "But what brought up that thought? Anywhere you're planning on going?"
"Just thinking," Rachel said, turning a bit pink. "Like you said, Killian is likely to want to sail again, and it would be easier if he didn't have to worry about finding a good crew."
Tina grinned a bit. "Well, I'm sure Gold can teach you whenever you're ready."
Rachel nodded, but it was a hesitant nod.
"Maybe soon," she said. She still wasn't quite sure if she wanted anyone else to know that she remembered, yet. |
"Whenever you want," Tina repeated, because she sure wasn't going to push Rachel into anything.
Rachel was quiet for a moment.
"I don't know if you remember," she said, "or if you found it last time you went up there, but there's a loose stone in one of the walls in the tower, I know you use to keep some things behind it. If they're still there, maybe it'll help you remember?" |
"I'll take a look," Tina said after a moment. She hadn't been up to the tower in a while. "If they're still there. If not, I'll find other ways."
Rachel nodded.
"I don't know what exactly you kept there," she said, "but I know it was important. I never looked." |
Tina nodded.
"Well, if it's still there, we'll find out," she said with a bit of a grin. |
Rachel nodded, grinning a bit as well.
"East wall," she said. "Four stones to the right of the window, one down from center." |
"Excellent." Tina grinned and sat there quietly for a few minutes.
"So, what shall we do now?" |
"Well," Rachel said, "I think Rumplestiltskin is expecting me to show up for lessons still, so I should probably show up for that." She looked at Tina. "Is he still expecting me to show up?"
