Hook grinned and kissed her. "We'll leave in the morning," he agreed. "After I've decided which direction we'll go this time."
"That's fine with me," Rachel said, smiling at him. She cuddled closer and sighed softly. "I love you. I've missed you the last few weeks."
"I've missed you too, even if I didn't realize it." Hook held her close, kissing her temple. "I love you too."
Rachel smiled a little.
"So, should I find my own quarters?" she asked softly. "Or should I just set up in here with you? I end up in here most of the time, anyway." |
"I have no problems with you staying here," Hook told her. "But if you don't want the crew to know yet, we can find you a room."
"I don't mind if they know," Rachel said. "I'm sure they'll find out soon enough, anyway. The ship is only so big."
Hook chuckled and nodded. "Then you're welcome to stay in here, of course," he said, grinning briefly.
"Thanks," Rachel said. She leaned up to give him a kiss. "So, where are we headed now?"
"That's what I'm figuring out," Hook said, nodding to his desk. "There are a few options."
"What options are open?" Rachel asked, going over to look at what he was working on.
"There are a few north of here, one west, and one south," Hook said, pointing them out on the map. "Mostly they're all lost or buried treasures. I'm trying to avoid dragons still." He grinned.
"How about we head south?" Rachel suggested. "Work our way north towards the others?"
"That should work," Hook agreed, looking over potential routes. "It'll take time, of course, but it should be enough to keep the crew busy."
Rachel nodded.
"I like this plan," she said. She grinned a bit. "I'm looking forward to going back out adventuring with you, now that I'm home again." |
Hook nodded and pulled her in close, just holding her for the moment. It felt good to do that again.
Rachel cuddled as close to him as she could. She'd missed being held like that.
Elsewhere, Gold was comfortably settled in his workshop, working on a few little things at his work table. |
Tina made her way down with a tray of tea for the two of them, grinning when she saw him. She had no doubts that he already knew Rachel had come and gone.
Gold looked over and smiled.
"Ah, thank you," he said. He gestured for her to sit with him. |
Tina settled in next to him. "Rachel got her stuff together and left," she said, leaning briefly against his side. "Apparently she got to talk to Hook and got the curse removed."
"Good," Gold said. "That certainly took longer than it should have." He put an arm around her and pulled her close.
Tina chuckled quietly and leaned into him. "Well, you can be relieved. We've got the castle to ourselves again."
"I'm glad," Gold said, holding her. "You know I don't share well."
"I know. Now you won't have to for a while." Tina smiled. "Should be nice and quiet now."
"And I'm grateful for that." Gold leaned down a bit and gave her a kiss. The kiss was slow and leisurely, and he took his time with it.
Tina was a bit surprised at that but returned it quite happily. He was getting better about showing affection, and this was new. Not that she was complaining.
