"Unfortunately, Rachel is with the pirate, which brings us back around," Gold pointed out, not budging. "You aren't going."
"I'd say you can't stop me but I'm pretty sure you can." Tina was quiet for a moment. "I know you don't like him but I can run faster than he can, so I'll be fine."
Gold was quiet for a moment.
"He's already stolen from me once," he said. "I won't have it happen again." |
Tina sighed. "You could come with," she pointed out. "It's not like he's going to do anything anyway, but if it'll make you feel better you could come too."
"You don't want that," Gold replied, glancing at her. "I'll be too tempted to kill him."
"Well what would make you feel better?" she asked. "Because I'm going to see Rachel."
"Why do you need to go?" Gold asked. "Don't I give you everything you need here?"
"Yes, you do, but Rachel is still my friend." Tina shook her head. "I want to go see her. Besides, it's not like I'm moving or anything, I'll be back tomorrow."
"I don't want anything to happen to you," Gold said finally, looking at her.
Tina was quiet for a few moments. "I won't complain this time if you want to use another tracking spell," she said quietly.
"I usually do, and that's not the point," Gold said. "I don't trust that pirate, and I don't want anything to happen to you."
"What can I do other than staying here that will make you feel better?" Tina looked at him.
"What will make me feel better is you not going," Gold replied, looking at her. "In any case, the point is moot, because you are, in fact, not going."
"No, you don't get to rule my life," Tina said, her temper flaring. "You do not get to tell me what to do, or who I can or cannot go see."
"Fine!" Gold snarled. "Go, then!" He turned away from her, seething and working on stamping down the impulse he felt to make her stay with magic.
Tina ground her teeth together. "I'll be back tomorrow," she said, looking at him for a minute before muttering something about stubborn males and leaving the house.
Gold let her go, fighting the sudden (and unfamiliar) urge to call her back and apologize. Obviously, she wasn't going to listen to him, anyways.
Tina made her way over to Hook's ship, although she took a little more time than she normally would have. But she did get there and move onto the deck cautiously.
"Rachel? You around?" she called, not going any farther onto the ship than she had to. |
When Rachel heard her name being called, she perked up and headed up above decks.
"Tina?" She grinned when she saw her friend. |
"Hey, there you are." Tina grinned. "Come on, let's get off this boat and chat."
"Don't have sea-legs, fairy-girl?" Hook smirked, looking down at them both from where he was fixing a bit of rigging. "I don't like boats." Tina made a face. |
"Killian, don't tease her," Rachel chided good-naturedly. She turned back to Tina. "Right on the dock," she said, going over to her friend.
Tina grinned briefly. "Sounds like you two are getting along," she said, grinning.
"Indeed." Hook was quiet for a minute, looking around the area briefly before he turned back to his work. "You can come out now, crocodile, I know you're here." |
There was a second of silence and then Gold seemed to just step out of the air, his cane tapping on the wooden docks.
Rachel blinked. That was kind of a neat trick, she had to admit. |
Hook smirked, looking at Gold for a minute, as if to say "See I'm not doing anything".
Tina sighed and decided to be pissed at Gold for that later. "Come on, Rache, off the boat." She moved back onto the dock gladly. |
Gold just narrowed his eyes a bit at Hook, but didn't say anything.
Rachel nodded and stepped down onto the dock, giving her friend a hug. |
