ACV is being lauded as some sort of miracle tonic right now. People will claim it cures everything from the flu to psoriasis and acne. I'm inclined to believe it'll work for acne to an extent, but it is very stinky and unpleasant to put on your skin daily.
Anyway, when I get sick I take showers. Lots of them. It not only clears out the nose and stops the inflammation for a time, but it makes it so you can breathe. Takes away the aches and pains and staves off the chills for a few minutes anyway. |
What my granny taught me:
For sore throat, you get some honey, lemon juice, black pepper and heat'em up until the honey is all liquidy and less viscous. Drink it warm. I used to hate it, not that I'm living away from home, I sort of miss it. [cry] |

That was lovely. [heart] Hey guys, I'm getting worse than before! Not sure if it's still a cold. My chest is congested and I can't breathe right. So when I try to cough it out it hurts. Don't know what to do and missing a shitload of school is bad. Dx Plus I might need to have an xray of my chest. Could it be pneumonia? |

simple... bowl of boiling hot water, add some aloe vira or something to it.... lean over it, towel over head, sorted!
