Yeah people that get an outfit for themselves within the first week of being on a site always amaze me.

I know a few people that have done that.

My first event was Easter too, in '09~ [lol]

I got my clothes pretty quickly, thanks to being able to make around 500g a day. [ninja];;

xD I didn't bother with commons. I set out to get my quest items first until I got them I refuse to buy commons (unless it was event and event currency!)

I've always been questing since I started coming onto this site. I don't think I'll ever stop.

I bought some commons, then I found out about the half-priced commons during events and stopped buying them from the shops unless it was event season. xDDD;;

Only occasionally if I find a good deal in the marketplace/exchange, or really, really, REALLY want something to complete an outfit would I buy them from the shops or out of season...


500g a day was nice in making lots of gold, especially when I could get CIs for around 1k back then, but I rarely had the patience to complete the full 1k gold a day on both my accounts. xDD I usually end up with four or five hundred and just go blah and stop. :P

xD I haven't stopped but I've reached the point where I have the funds, it's just waiting for the items to show up.

That's what I do too! xD It was like... half price? I should buy during event season!

It's so annoying. Though I have pretty good luck with event thread and getting commons for free or extra of items I already have that I can sell/hand back out to people that don't have that stuff.

Yeah. xD I just buy commons these days. xD I never drop below my target savings but other then that I just spend these days xD

I try to save up, but it's kinda hard when every time a new CI comes out it eats away 4~8k every time. xDD;;;

I used to buy the half priced commons with gold, and back when loads of commons were released every event, I could spend up to 20k on commons while saving up all my tokens for EIs...now I try to keep it with just tokens. Or I'll never be able to save up anything at that rate. xDD;;
