I've nearly finished the first book. I must say...for as much as I want to hate it for being what it is....I can't. I love Edward's complexity, his character. *dreamily sigh*

I'm uncomfortable with some of the relationship dynamics in recent popular books (I can sometimes forgive questionable writing if the story is half decent).

Twilight >.>' i honestly don't know what to say.

I only hope people who don't usually read who picked up Twilight go on to read more. Too many people don't read at all.

I bought the Hobbit book for my 10 year old granddaughter.

I suspect it's too "old" for her, but she loves to read, so I thought I'd give it a try.

I was 10 or 11 when I first read it, it started life as a children's book. :)

I'm trying to get my hands on Sailor Moon #3, but my local B&N has apparently decided that I'm not allowed to have it. I refuse to read the rest until I've gotten #3.

In what sense? I'm captivated by the concept as vampire and human just seems so....wrong. But not in a vc Andrews incestual way.

I plan on it. Just need to find something that I can easily get into. And don't knock the twilight stuff. I did and I put it off for years because of just it being too popular.

Do you have an iOS device? There are some kick ass apps where I've literally red the entire series for free from a fan based translation. I might have to get more into manga again.

I'm trying to buy all the actual book-format mangas for my personal library.
