Yeah xxxHolic is every interesting and strange, but really good. Yeah it was interesting how it was connected to Tsubasa Chronicles. Of course Tsubasa Chronicles connects several Clamp manga together. I love how in they travel to the different worlds.
Speaking of the folklore and myths have you read or watched Fushigi Yuugi? |
@ rosie
i read fushigi yuugi but uhh not all of them?? mann i cant remember the first one i read but i think it was the mysterious play? and then i read the one about the power of words really interesting concept i stopped reading tsubasa for maybe a week and when i got back to it i had no idea what was going on i havent been able to pick it up again because it got too confusing but grrr i really want to (just so much to reread to get all the details again i really love connecting stories and tsubasa does it so well that i just love it |
I haven't read all of them yet either. I've read and watched the mysterious play and I started on the one other one, but I don't remember which it is.
That does sound like an interesting concept. That stinks, but I can understand. It really does and I love it too. |
No, I was in love with the interconncting of worlds too. I love when they bring aspects of other manga into one manga, because its like you see all your favorite characters all over again! :3
But sushi, I have the same problem as you, I got EXTREMELY confused with Tsubasa, especially when all the twins began to appear regularly. ._____. And YES Fushigi Yugi was one of the first manga I ever read. I really like it at the time, but the oldest one (I think its Mysterious Play) had quite an annoying main character, and i didn't like her at all hahahaha. |

Nope. I couldn't really enjoy them "being together" and not being in their own super hero world. But I do enjoy the movie adaption of it, the "Avengers." Sometimes I like movies over the TV shows and sometimes I like the TV shows over the others. It's a dysfunctional love/hate relationship LOL Same... What are they now... Samurai? Quote:
If you want to read manga: mangafox.com - mangahere.com - mangapark.com --is where I usually go to read some mangas (not all because only a few are epic). If you want to watch anime, then Hulu has uploaded episodes on there--but they have started the "Hulu+" thing where you have to pay to watch new episodes on certain shows--so, I'm not sure how many episodes you'll be able to watch of an anime--I haven't been doing that lately. OR if you can stand commercials at EVERY SINGLE DARN interval of scenes of a show, then go to crunchyroll.com --that's your best choice. I don't think I know of anywhere else. Quote:

Except when Flapjack got too over bearing... I couldn't stand watching it. |
Haha, why did you hate that universe? Well, I guess Tsubasa is kind of dark and confusing....so....
Wait, the movie adaption of Justice League is the Avengers? Well, honestly I love both. And for Young Justice, usually the side kicks don't really get their universe for a normal TV show, so I REALLY like them interacting. Plus when they are really close friends it makes me so fuzzy inside. I don't know, I feel like there have been Samurai Powerrangers repeatedly over the years. |
Well, they adapted Avengers like Justice League. But it's more or less about defeating Loki from the marvel adventures.
I hated it because it didn't really bring any enjoyment for me. I thought it was a sequel for them to be together. For the Tsubasa thing. Yeah. Well, their poop. |
@ Rosie
baah fushigi yuugi has too many to remember D; @ royalsquishy at one point i forced myself to read it from my last save point and i was doing fine until Sayoran's twin came along and they were like "its him but not him, whos the real sayoran????) that when i said that i was done with it until i start from the beginning again... the first manga i read was an ecchi manga? LOL i didnt even know but the plot was good and i loved the art style. it was... negima! magister negi magi loved it loved it loved it havent finished it though; stopped when i didnt have access to the physical manga :( @ miro i hate to say that youre right on that... but only a bit!!! the only difference now is that i cant sit and watch it for hours. i love to watch an episode or two but not for too long |
Hate? hate? Such a strong word. lol
Oh, I know. I'm the same way when I wanna watch Bones ' n ' stuffuu. |
@Miro: Hahaha, I guess you could say that. I'm not too happy about Avengers 2 though, I'm usually never that happy when there is a tacky "2" stuck at the end of something. LOL
But well, I like both so its okay. Tsubasa wasn't really fulfilling in them two together, i thought it was super sad to begin with though. @sushi: NO I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN. Oh my god all these twins just killed me, I was like NOPE not going to even try anymore this is ridic. Hhahaha I remember Negima! The art is really pretty, but I don't remember much from it. Are you the type to like reading the physical manga more than reading on your computer? |
@ Miro - Oh ok. It was two separate channels for us.
Young Hercules was based off of Hercules the Legendary Journey. Young Hercules - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I'm not sure why they discontinued it. I really liked it myself, but I was/am also a fan of Hercules the Legendary Journey and Zena. I thought that the guys that were playing Hercules, Iolaus and Jason were hotties, lol. |
@ miro
i dislike to tell you that your are correct ): but you used to love bones? there was that one season where that lady got pregnant with that one guy you ship her with??? @ roaylsquishy im done! i am just done with you tsubasa you have gotten too out of control!! [lol] negima was about a 12 year old magician teaching at a middle school full of full grown young ladies that looked like 18 year olds. to become a powerful magician, he had to make contracts??? i dont remember the exact reason for contracts but something they had to protect (maybe to... was there an evil coming? idk) to make contracts, he had to kiss the other party on the lips with a magic circle drawn underneath their feet. yep oh and his father (whom he doesnt know and has never met) was the most famous magician because he was also the most powerful/knew the most spells) somethign like that?? hahaa the class he was in charge of was funny to read about. their characters at least and i remember there was a yuri pair in there. well, girl's love pair. it was cute :3 yesss i read faster, i am more excited about picking up the next volume, and im more into it when i have it in my hands. i tried to continue reading Bleach from Volume 22 but reading it online gets me dizzy when it's an action scene. (same thing with D.Gray-Man) A lot of the scans I find have too much contrast or it's blurry. Too much contrast hurts my eyes. it used ot happen with newspapers too *though im better now) |
*lounges in a chair*
|
@rose: Like royalty I see! :P Feeling tired today?
@sushi: I don't remember much about the contracts and stuff...probably because I read it out of order. It seemed like a really scattered comedy to me. :D SAME HEREEEEEE. UGH.....its so hard to read things online and I get distracted by so many other things. Scans are horrid, and there's not the same satisfaction you get out of a book. U_U Plus its so hard to tell where you are online compared to remembering the volume cover of a book. |
@ Squishy - Yeah, but it really doesn't make since because I really didn't do much of anything today.
I don't know if it's just that I'm not getting enough sleep or it's a combination of not getting enough sleep and stress. |
haha, probably a combination of not enough sleep or stress.
Are you stressed about something in particular, or is it a general all around stress? |

Yep--used to. I can't stand it anymore because they don't show the new episodes on any of the channels I search through. They only replay the repeats all the time. I can only watch the new episodes online, if I ever feel like it. By the time I do, I don't want to anymore and find something else to do. Bones got pregnant by Booth, yes. Still not married--which is retarded. People with commitment issues piss me off. |
